Recently had my car in for its first MOT at Renault Hanley, service was great and a very prompt phone call when finished.

Mazda Oldham - Untrustworthy
Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the level of customer service at Mazda Oldham. It doesn't deserve a 1 star but I had to rate them in order to post this review. The dealership had advertised and confirmed an offer which they then retracted upon our visit to them. In my opinion it was to get the customer through their door. Once through the door they were asking for a much higher price than advertised. They tried to explain away the reason for the higher asking price which we had doubts about.
When speaking to the platform which advertised their initial offer, it became evidently clear that the dealership had been untruthful and dishonest about the change in price and because of this, we decided to go with another Mazda dealership. We asked for the deposit to be refunded, however they became extremely rude, confrontational and disrespectful towards my wife and I and in my opinion, they pressured us by using bullying tactics to try and keep us with their dealership. They were reluctant to return my deposit and had zero interest in acknowledging or resolving any of my concerns, even with the General Manager was being dismissive and even accused me of 'messing them about'!
This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any dealership; I am truly shocked and disgusted by their unethical behavior which I thought was unacceptable. You have been warned. I wouldn't wish my experience on anyone, which is why I have written this review.

I went to test drive the car and discuss a part-ex, the salesperson was very helpful. All that was discussed during that visit, was as agreed when i went to pick up the car. The team are friendly, helpful and appear true to their word. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Booked car in for a recall at Warrinton,
Appointment time 10.30, and was told it would be a couple of hours,had a phone call the day before asking me to drop it off between 8.30-9.30, took it in at 9.15
and was told it would be ready between 15.00 and 1700, approx 5/6 hours,not happy but decided leave the car and go home ,even though it was a 40 min drive, as soon as I set foot in my front door my phone rang, " Your car is ready for collection" so went straight back out to collect it, it they had told me it was only going to take 30-40 minutes I could have waited. Totally waste of my day for something that would only have taken me a couple of hours at most.
Give your receptionist accurate information about how long jobs are going to take so it can be passed on to your customers!!
Fantastic to deal with
I travelled from another area to see the car that I had seen online. Tony was brilliant all the way along and I'm happy that I got a good deal on the car and on my part exchange. Would thoroughly recommend Holdcroft.

Customer service
Today I took my MG3 into the Cheshire Oaks show room on recall. I arrived at 1.30 and was told that as it was a waiting appointment it could take three hours. Obviously I wasn’t very happy with this, I thought a waiting appointment meant that I waited while the work was done rather than leaving my car and coming back when the work was completed. It was a recall so I had no other option than to go to the dealer. I voiced my dissatisfaction with the amount of time I was going to have to wait and feel that because it was a recall by the manufacturer the customer service was not satisfactory.
However as I was waiting I spoke to Aaran, one of your sales staff who was lovely and if I decide to buy a new MG I will go to him. He told me if I needed anything to ring and ask for him and he will do whatever he can to help. He is an example of what good customer service is.

I’ve recently purchased a kona hybrid from Holdcroft’s at Stoke I received excellent customer service from sales advisor Peter Cornes who was very knowledgeable,helpful and courteous he answered my numerous questions without being pushy I can only describe the service I have received as excellent I would have no hesitation in recommending Holdcroft’s and in particular Peter Cornes
Hyundai Stockport- awful
Hyundai Stockport- never go there for a repair. What an absolute shambles! Long story short, I was booked in for a few repairs which I had fully outlined and they had already suggested solutions for. It isn't like they didn't know what was coming. They did a health check the same day, sent me the fixes for each issue, I authorised the work, and you'd think that was it. Work done, job done, off we go! But no, what ensued was a week of them not doing the work because "they were too busy" or "the technician was on a training course". I had complete radio silence so had to chase updates myself. Each time I rang, I was told I would get a call back, that never happened. Every day I was told "it will be ready for sign-off tomorrow". Every day, I was given a different excuse as to why that hadn't happened. I took my car here, accepting the extortionate premium prices, because I thought remaining within the Dealership umbrella would give me the best parts / service possible. How wrong was I!? To top it all off, on the drive home from the Dealership, the rattle they had "fixed" was very much still there. All in all, a very stressful and inconvenient experience. I won't be back, and I would certainly not recommend.
STOLE MY MONEY
Don’t know how they’ve got so many good reviews. Don’t think about leaving a ‘refundable’ deposit because they will simply steal it and refuse to answer. When you eventually get through, they will ‘ring you tomorrow or put it through to the right department’ . GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK YOU ABSOLUTE LAZY THIEVES!
Superb Nissan Dealership
I'd recommend Holdcroft Nissan Crewe to anyone because Absolutely delighted with the Nissan Qashqai Tekna that I purchased recently at Holdcroft Nissan Crewe. The car was presented in pristine condition at a very reasonable price with many little '' extra's' included in the deal. From my very first contact with the garage and our dealings with Josh Steventon ( salesman) we received excellent customer service throughout the whole purchasing process. Untrustworthy
Four years ago I bought a 2017 Hyundai Tucson from Holdcroft. It had to be scrapped a couple of weeks ago (with not quite 90k on the clock) because the gearbox disintegrated. On top of that, it was burning two gallons of oil a year so the engine wouldn't have been far behind the gearbox, and the paint was peeling off - looking like a bad respray after a crash.
Wouldn't go near Holdcroft again.
