We bought a 2026 Outdoors RV Back…
We bought a 2026 Outdoors RV Back Country Series 23BCS at Holiday RV in Poncha Springs, Colorado. One week later, we had to bring it back because the furnace wouldn't function properly: it blew warm air for a couple of minutes, shut down, and never reached the target temperature.
When we picked it up a week later, they told us they had swapped the thermostat three times--then even tried a different brand--before realizing that wasn't the issue. Only then, supposedly, they "found" a faulty part in the furnace, got a replacement from Outdoors RV, and assured us everything was fixed. We brought the camper home believing the problem had been resolved.
Then came November and our next planned trip. The furnace had exactly the same issue.
When I contacted Holiday RV asking for the Work Orders so I could see what had actually been done the first time, everything went downhill fast. The attitude from the staff was appalling. Yvonne, the service writer (famous for never smiling), sent us obviously fabricated, back-dated Work Orders claiming they had found the "real" issue: a cut cable.
A cut cable? Really? If this cable had truly been severed, we wouldn't have had any warm air the first time--but we did. The whole story is absurd. It's clear they manufactured fake Work Orders to cover the fact that nothing meaningful was done in the initial repair.
Then I spoke with Arron, the General Manager, and immediately understood where the dishonesty and attitude came from. This guy tried to justify his company's failures by telling me that "new camper travelers need to adapt to new realities."
No. Just no. We are not newbies. We've been boondocking from Montana to the Sea of Cortez in Mexico for nearly two years. I've slept more nights in a trailer than this arrogant clown ever will.
The rot comes from the top, and it shows.
Do not do business with Holiday RV.
If you want an Outdoors RV product and you're in Colorado, go to Bish's RV in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Never buy anything from Holiday RV in Poncha Springs, Colorado.
PS: the GOOD reviews for Holiday RV here on Yelp are suspicious ...
Finaly, we brough the camper to Bisch Cheyenne Wyoming and they found and resolved the problem in 15 minutes : they cahnge the Thermostat... so ^ month after we got the camper we can finally use it . Dont go to Holiday RV!
