Chain description: Width is about 2mm across the widest part of sterling silver curb chain by about 1mm. The chains sold on our site are all made from sterling silver. We import them direct from Italy, traditional home of high quality silver chains. It is because we import these directly that you will hopefully find our chain prices so competitive. Please do note though that as the price of silver changes on the worldwide markets this directly affects our chain prices as they have pure silver in them. Our pricing structure remains the same though. A "curb" chain contains single loops of metal linked end to end, each loop angled slightly so that they fit together smoothly. We say: Our medium curb chain is slightly thicker than our fine curb chain. Both are good quality but the medium chain will be better suited to larger pendants both in weight and appearance. All of our silver chains are of excellent quality and are sterling silver.
