Won’t refund/replace damaged item
Bought a Xmas tree funnel for over £300. The funnel will not turn into the lock position. The funnel comes in to parts and needs to be turned to fully lock otherwise it is not fit for purpose. If it can’t be locked the funnel will come apart when pulling a Xmas tree through. Seems that the funnel catches on the two side bolts and that may be the reason why the funnel will not turn and lock or there may be a problem part of the funnel. I am15.5 stone, 6 foot 1 and physically strong so not an issue with strength. Advised the business on all of the above with pictures to support. Was informed by email there is nothing they can do, no funnels of that size in stock and as it has been over 7 days since delivery they are not liable. Also informed that if the item is damaged during delivery the business is not liable. Advised to try using WD40 and brute strength. I very rarely post reviews but wanted to warn any buyers to inspect any goods bought from this business within 7 days otherwise any missing parts may not be replaced and if there is any damage they the business may say they are not liable for damages during delivery.
