I would give zero stars if I could . Purchased the hs720g drone from Amazon , and after a handful of flights drone refuses to turn on . All battery lights light up but no response from the drone.
Contacted holystone and they have said it is a internal fault and cannot be repaired and only offer a discount to by a new drone from them , but refuse to send a replacement as they say it is out of the 30day warranty.
Under the consumer act 20015 you have rights for up to 6yrs if product proven to be faulty at time of purchase .
Don’t waste your money and buy a Dji .

I have contacted Holystone by email and they never give me a straight answer to any questions, always tell me the battery has this and that model and rating but never actually tell me if it works for my drone. Very unhelpful. I have bought batteries from Holystone for my drone and apparently these are very delicate and charging must be done carefully. So I asked Holystone if they have a charger or can recommend a charger for the batteries, they came back saying they don't have a charger. I mean why sell a product you don't even have a charger for??? Ridiculous. They couldn't even recommend me chargers. Basically their service and help (or lack of) was a complete waste of time.

So I got this drone for my birthday and when I opened it and turned it on the thing took off before I could turn on the remote. I talked to customer service and they said I have to get a order number from my Dad but he died so they won't replace it. Pretty crappy I think. They kept asking me to send all kinds of pictures and I did then they said they would give me a discount on a drone. Crappy people.

My only complaint is there is room for improvement on the manual. It's good, just not great. The app is pretty very nice. My HS175d exceeded my expectations. I have used the Return Home feature at least 6 times, and it has never failed. Twice was a test, once I flew outside of transmitter range, twice the battery was low and once I lost sight of the drone. The HS175 has always landed within 10 foot of the take off point. Thats nothing to brag about but good enough. Setting GPS home and compass calibration are critical but easy if you follow the directions. The camera has far better resolution than I expected but any wind shakes this light of a quad. I emailed HS support twice and the reply was prompt and helpful. I just bought another HS and plan on gifting my old one to a friend. Others mentioned DJI just remember the are the like Apple. Good products but you pay and play by their rules.

I bought the holy stone hs100g a few years ago now and it still works brilliantly! I’ve never had any problems flying it as it’s easy to connect and easy to use. It has a decent camera which is also movable via the controller or phone

Purchased a new 2 battery hs 720g took everything out went to charge the batteries an 1 wouldn't even charge. Tried contacting holystone and they sent a automated message on how to charge the batteries. I have several drones an know how to charge the batteries on them. The battery is clearly defective and doesn't work. I have Still not heard anything back from them that's pretty poor customer service imo for a new out of the box item.

Had a 730e a couple of years ago, and like other reviewers it did not respond to Return Home and I lost it.
Thinking it was my fault I later bought a 730g in December 2023. After a few tentative flights and RH tests I grew more confident in my ability to fly and bought a spare Battery from Amazon (£79!!)
After around 20-30 flights one of the batteries expanded and would not fit in the drone. I was advised to dispose of the Battery at the local recycling center. The remaining battery now loses charge rapidly giving less than 5 minutes flight.
Researching online I found similar warnings of battery life.
Contact with HS informed me that batteries only have a 30 day warranty!!

After flying a Holy Stone HS720 For a couple of months I decided to sell it and purchase the Holy Stone HS720R. I went ahead and purchased it on a well known auction site . Anyway after about the 3rd flight it just went haywire , remote totally lost control and it wouldn't respond to RTH so down it went ,dived head first into our local forrest never to be seen again . Outside of the 30 day warranty as just over 9 weeks old and I didn't purchase the accident insurance. that's simply it🤷‍♂️ In my opinion the HS720R is a rubbish product not fit for purpose with obvious known issues I just wish I'd stuck with my used 720.. My advice don't buy unless you have deep pockets.

I bought a HS720R earlier this year but didn't unbox it until I'd had it for over a month. First time out it worked fine but on all subsequent flights it went completely out of control eventually crashing into a tree and breaking 2 of its legs. I've now read more reports of this drone on here and wish I'd never bothered with it. It was out of the pathetic warranty period when I reported it and Holy Stone refused to replace our refund. Total waste of £300+ pounds and I'll never use this company again. It is my belief that this drone should be banned as it represents a real danger to people within its proximity.

Recently recieved my HS720R a couple days ago and couldnt be happier with it. This is my first drone and has a beginner mode for easy operation. It came with built in remote ID and was super simple to register and acquire the trust certificate for the operator ID as well. Super simple operation overall, great safety features, return to home works excellent. Great flight time, and the camera is excellent. I will be a return buyer for my next one if i decide to ever upgrade further.

The company have very good suport and we're very nice to send out free replacement parts to a well know fault with the drone i purchased based on this support i give them a 2 stars as the oriduct i baugh is a 0 star this Review is based on the HS720-R drone .Do not buy . Not fit for purpose. Very dangerous. Absolutely terrible drone. Initial first few flights were good but every time you use it it will swirl round and round uncontrollable causing crashlanding every time . I have now lost the drone completely after it swirled way out of sight and lost GPS it never came back to its home position and I have now lost it . I did give an initial good review to simply receive a free battery and the support was ok from holistone who sent out a replacement wing after the first swirl crash however they themselves don't know how to fix the uncontrollable swirling effect "toilet bowling" before I lost the drone I tried everything to stop this from using in different locations, Calibration without any electrical devices near etc. Loosing it has probably done me a favour as it was a hazard and could really do somebody harm . Especially do not buy if you have small kids. Save the extra and get a proper drone not this cheap dangerous toy . Very Very disappointed. Not what I expected

Awesome drone!! Easy to fly and great for beginners. Camera quality is just as good as my iPhone. The bundle package was a great deal compared to other drones. Performance wise it does everything it should and more...

Right of the hop the battery smoked/shorted out the first time I turn it on. Continued customer service and received a new one a week later. Test flew the drone twice and both times it flew left on its own. Decided to take it to a large open field and give it a go the next day. I operated this drone in beginners mode only. Over all it took off good, hovered very well in low wind did a decent follow me but did lose elevation at times. Ascend was very slow and I had to have the left joystick in the left or right 45 degree position to get the drone to ascend but it would also rotate at the the same time. I had the drone fly away from me with the camera looking at me and at 62 feet away the drown would stop and rotate on it's own pointing the camera away from me. (Note: I was still in beginners mode so the distance on the app was showing 62 feet not 49 feet). The return to home function always went to the 49 foot ceiling and then descend and went into a large and larger circle. Every time that happened I took it out of return to home and regained control. It's been a week now of customer support asking me a bunch of questions and they have yet come up with a reasonable procedure to try and solve these issues. It appears to me that they are trying to delay until my 30 day warranty ends.

The drone is cheap. The 4K camera is not 4K. After 4 hours of flying the gimbal has broken. Despite the drone only being 10 months old when it broke they refuse to replace, repair or refund as it is outside of their 30 day warranty. What a useless warranty. I wish I’d just paid 3x the price for a DJI or purchased a second hand DJI for not a lot more money.
They did offer me a 10% discount ‘reserved for their most valuable partners’ and after much back and forth now offering ‘25% discount reserved for our most valuable partners’ What a joke.

I brought the Holystone 720G as my first drone.

Absolutely love it. I'm a complete beginner and the controls are so easy to understand and after about 15 minutes of practice I was confident in flying.

Looks amazing and handles fantastic.

If your after your first drone I would highly recommend.

Received a Holy Stone HS700E from my children as a gift. The instruction manual made it very easy to fly my new drone. This drone was easy to control and handled very well in windy conditions. I especially liked the return to home feature this drone has. Customer support for their product supplied by Holy Stone has been very good also and I am very pleased with my new Holy Stone HS700E.

So I purchased a HS 710 Drone from one of their Approved Retailers right? I paid $100 for a supposedly 'New Drone'. On Holy Stone website the same HS 710 sells for over $200.
(1st Red Flag);

When I received the Drone
it was damaged so I contacted the Seller for a replacement. (2nd Red Flag), the Seller claimed he didn't except "Returns", [Companies must provide a Return/Refund Policy].
Seller told me to contact Holy Stone..(3rd Red Flag); I contacted Holy Stone and explained my problem and they said they would Replace the damaged Arm. I sent my Shipping Address and waited. 2 Days later I get a email from Holy Stone asking for Proof of Purchase, I sent the Receipt.
(4th Red Flag) Holy Stone emailed me again and still rejected replacing my damaged Arm. They told me to go back to Seller.
I told Holy Stone that their Seller wasn't following Holy Stone Regulations and didn't provide a Return Policy. I further told Holy Stone that they were liable of replacing my Part and they continued to deny me.
(5th Red Flag)-> Holy Stone Retailers are selling their Products at half the cost of the Company, and it's supposedly New. [I THINK THESE DRONES WERE RETURNS OR QC REJECTED].
To date Holy Stone has agreed to Replace of Drone 4 Times and have yet to honor their agreement.
Something is wrong with this Company and their violating the International Business Laws and Regulations. I plan on filing a civil action against them. Holy Stone went as far as saying that the HS 710 was no longer in Production, (which is a Lie. It's still being Sold on their website.
Holy Stone has a Deliberate Indifference mindset with Selective Discriminatory Practices and Procedures.
The civil suit will be an easy win due to the False and Misrepresentaation of Company Policies. No 2 Customer Support Employees will tell you the same policies and nor can you find any policy they claim.

Fit/finish and quality seem excellent. Easy to use with app and tutorials. Highly recommend these drones.
