Homebase in Bromsgrove has room for improvement. While their website showed availability for chime bells, there were none when I tried to click and collect. Luckily, I was notified before traveling, but I hope the refund process is smooth. Staff like Jake and David were excellent, providing attentive service, but product quality like the storage trays was disappointing, making some purchases feel like a waste of money. More staff to assist with loading larger items would also enhance the experience.

I know the Bromsgrove store is closing down, so I bought 2 Adore glass table lamps, one clear & 1 Amber, when I opened the clear one it wasn't the same as on the box, so tried to take it back & swap it for another Adore Amber, but was told I couldn't do that even though it wasn't what I wanted

Needed more staff support to load item onto truck and from truck to car

David was very helpful & happy person.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. They even mixed a colour we were struggling to get 👍☺️

Web site said there were 4 Byron wired chime bells at Bromsgrove. I was allowed to purchase 1 on line to click and collect. Turned out there were none available. Fortunately I was contacted just as I was in my car getting ready to drive 10 miles to collect. Hope I’ve had a refund.

The customer service was perfect in store. Unfortunately when I got home and started to use the storage trays purchased one broke as soon as I put food in it. Plastic is too brittle, it was a waste of money and a journey to collect.

Friendly staff who was helpful and polite

Easy to complete transaction online. Collection process was smooth and efficient, carried out with a friendly smile and a cheerful good morning.

Order said it was in stock, it wasn’t. Useless system!

My wife and I had initially planned to replace only the kitchen cabinet doors but on speaking to Jake (Bromsgrove store), he was able to find us a brilliant deal on a clearance kitchen that was too good to pass up. He even came to measure up that same afternoon. His service, knowledge, and overall motivation to help us finish our house was so very welcome, and very surprising to encounter in a country where the standard retail experience has become predictably underwhelming!

There were several issues with incorrectly sized doors and units when they were delivered which were the fault of the distribution centre and not Jake, but he once again sorted everything out and personally ensured that these issues were resolved. We have since returned to the store to purchase additional units and accessories and will continue to make our home and garden purchases from the Bromsgrove store despite it being a 45 minute drive.
All too often people are quick to complain, so I hope Jake gets the recognition he deserves for delivering such quality, informed and excellent customer service. Thank you.

Jake was fabulous! From the initial design through to post delivery queries nothing has been too much trouble. He’s been friendly, proactive and gone out of his way to ensure any issues were sorted quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jake to anyone wanting a new kitchen, you couldn't be in better hands!

Ready within the hour but allowed me to collect in my own time

A great experience at Bromsgrove, Homebase today thank you to Mason. He was really helpful when selecting pots from the garden centre part of the store (including helping me get them into my trolley), to helping me get my selected items from the garden dep to tills (multiple trolleys) and into my car which was very much appreciated! A very friendly and helpful service-thank you Mason!

My missus and I received tremendous service this weekend while purchasing a BBQ and other bits and bobs from the very knowledgeable Hayden and incredibly helpful Kellie. They are a credit to the store.
We probably would not have made the purchase but for Hayden's salesmanship, but we're glad he did as we enjoyed an fantastic BBQ in the sun later that evening on the tremendous unit we purchased.

The online Click and Collect service was easy to use and my order was ready to collect within the hour.
The staff at the store were friendly and helpful, assisting me to the car with my large purchases.

Fantastic service from Rob at Homebase in Bromsgrove.
Went to look at and get advice about garden furniture. The furniture we liked was low on stock everywhere so Rob let us have display stock.
We were allowed to take it that day and Rob was extremely helpful even though he was extremely busy. He helped load the furniture onto our van and took bits apart for us if needed.
Couldn’t ask for better service.

Easy to order and helpful staff on the phone enquiry. Order was ready to collect in 30 minutes and sent an email to confirm. Very satisfied.
