An absolute Superstar (James Reece) made my visit to Homebase Newark not only a pleasure but a huge relief. I was able to get everything I need to future proof my home at least 2 years ahead of schedule...

I ordered to be home delivered, but instead the order went to the local store that is closing down. I have been waiting for well over the estimated delivery time.I got no notification email as was promised when I placed the order. I wouldn't have paid to be delivered to the store, I would have chosen click and collect instead.But I didn't want click and collect and that's what I ended up with.Very disappointing. I think once the post code was seen, they decided to send the order to the store. Not the first time this has happened.

Recently me and my partner bought a house which we plan to make our home!! Refurbishing, has been stressful and the thought of purchasing a brand new kitchen gave me anxiety in all honesty but Reece made us feel at ease within minutes. Great customer service skills, very passionate and dedicated! We made a few mistakes in our measurements and Reece offered to come and take the right measurements straight away which we were very impressed by,he also explained all procedures and legalities step by step and took his time with us!
I must say best customer service anyone could have!! Great asset for the company and would definitely recommend him to my friends and family!

The girl that served us was so polite and friendly her name is sapphire.

I phoned Homebase in Newark after viewing an electric fire online.
I was answered promptly and the lady looked through her files to see if it was still in stock, which it was. I ordered and paid for it and collected it the next day. An assistant even carried it to my car and put it in the boot.
Exceptional service.
So sorry to hear it is closing in December but with a new B & Q 100 metres away it is 't surprising.

I have just got home from Homebase Newark and am really upset that the Newark store is closing .
It is a fantastic shop and the staff are to a man/ woman helpful and knowledgeable they know their store inside out and always have time for an old lady like myself .i am extremely sorry to see this store close

Drove 22 miles to Newark store as Sleaford store didn’t have any, only to be told when I got there that they didn’t have the 8 items I had ordered and paid for

We called into the Newark branch to look for a new kitchen. From start to finish Rakh provided excellent service and showed an in depth knowledge of both kitchen design and the product ranges offered by Homebase. They were also able to provide a list of suitable fitters. I would highly recommend Rakh if you are looking to source a new kitchen.

I was served by Steve at your Newark site today. What a super helpful, friendly and knowledgable chap you have working there. We don’t live around here but for the past 3 years have spent most weekends in the area, often buy from Homebase, and truthfully, every single member of staff in that store has been great, it makes such a change. Thank you!
