Homebase - Newmarket Reviews 

I bought a large clock, which sadly had a small part missing from the hand mechanism. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my receipt, Lottie was extremely helpful, she tried to find my transaction, and when she couldn't, she advised where I could find a replacement nut. Whilst I went to find the right size, Lottie recalled a similar clock being returned as faulty, and we were able to fix my clock.

I am very satisfied with the workstation and its delivery. However, I believe that more help should be available during the delivery process as the workstation was quite heavy and long (weighing 200kg and measuring 1.2m). The two delivery guys who came to deliver it struggled to handle it alone and had difficulty getting it off their vehicle and into my property.

Dreadful store, staff are rude, poorly trained and apathetic. I only ever visit from necessity.

We always look for Paul when we need paint or DIY items and advice. Always has time for to explain and help you make the right choice. Keep hold of this guy Homebase, he's a credit to the company!!

Angela in the paint department was excellent, she gave some great advice over paint for our our bathroom that had started to peel away and advised on using a product that worked.

Recommended Zinder Peel Stop, plus the advice about the preparation.

I cannot thank Angela enough our bathroom has gone from looking awful to looking nice again.

Excellent service from Homebase in Newmarket, my lawnmower stopped working it was still in the guarantee period. I could not get through to Flymo on the phone, so called Homebase where I purchased the lawnmower. I took the faulty lawnmower back, they tested this and replaced with a new one that works

Was really pleased with staff today in Homebase very helpful especially paulo who helped put 10 large buckets of fence paint on trolley after another chap who helped me work out the most cost efficient way of buying the large quantities of fence paint sorry I didn’t ask your name and then the young lad Sam who helped me load my car to take home a big Thankyou to you all .

I popped into Homebase today, I needed some assistance with some paint, I took a sample of wallpaper with a colour in it, which I wanted, I was greeted with a smile,at the colour mixing station by Angela, who gave me excellent service and advice on the colour, which she scanned and mixed for me, her knowledge is excellent and she gave me lots of great advice too, she certainly knew her paint and products, I was very grateful to at last have the exact colour I wanted on my wall, well chuffed, and Angela was my paint Angel!! I will definitely return if I need anymore advice, as nothing was too much trouble and her customer service was outstanding.
