Homebase - Staines Reviews 

Myself and my mother was in a pickle about what flooring to choose for my open plan lounge/kitchen and was approached by a member of staff who asked if he could be of assistance. I thanked him and proceded to ask him 101 questions which he was very happy to answer nothing was too much trouble. After finally making a decision the store assistant, Mattie, took us to the till and handed us over to Beth to complete the purchase. I honestly just wanted to take Mattie in every shop I go to because he completely took the stress out of choosing flooring by being informative, listening to what I needed and just a general couldn't do enough for you attitude. Not only that but Mattie managed to get us free delivery hurrah! Thanks Mattie will be back to visit you soon with mum *royal wave*

I am hosting a charity fundraiser and asked Homebase in Staines if they could offer a raffle prize. The store manager Sripragas Sriskandapalan and Tasha Dilloway kindly offered a bbq! Absolutely amazing. Thank you Sasha Kitterman

The staff were so helpful and carried my goods to the car and even turned down my show of appreciation. Thank you Homebase.

The website says "Homebase Staines: Key cutting,
Open Now, Closes at 8:00 PM". I then get there to find a hand-written note on the machine saying 'out of order'. No information about when it will be fixed. The web site is still giving incorrect information about this service. Could you not have updated your website with this information so people are not making wasted journeys to use this service?

EDIT to reply Homebase response: That's a pretty bland and useless response. When will the machine be ready? Why you are *still* telling people on your website that you can cut keys at Staines in 2 minutes? When you raised this with the store what was their response? Could I have an actually useful reply with specific information rather than a lazy cut and pasted response?

All ready when I arrived

Wrong product had been pulled. Fortunately the correct product was available in store.

Had to wait around 10 minuted to be served at the click and collect counter the staff member who was manning the desk was working on the only open till so had to wait till the long queue was served

My click and collect was quick and straightforward and the member of staff that dealt with it was friendly and helpful 👍

Very good service from the ladies in Staines. I arrived to collect my order before I’d had the message to collect, by mistake but the lady I spoke to was very kind and got the order processed form .

Went into this store this morning as I'm doing a refresh on my house and didn't have a clue were to start or what i even needed with getting all the paint and accessories,spoke to one of the staff members suraj he was more then happy to assist me and managed to get what I needed plus a few cheeky bits more.He was so helpful made everything seem easy.the store was lovely and welcoming and clean with no que when I got to the tills either. Will be going back next week with the next lot of stuff I need for my house.Thankyou team 😀

Stood waiting for 20mins for click/collect. Short staffed and girl who was on the counter was stressed and sharing too much of it

Ordering process quick and easy.
When we went to pick item up there was friendly helpful staff and the 20% we had off of the flooring was fantastic

Friendly staff, quick service, the click and Collect girl offered to help carry to car. She is always very helpful and polite
Noticed a slight defect on the trellis so brought back and they exchanged with no hassle
