Friendly service, excellent Company
We had an issue that we believed could be damp. Contacted Home Energy Save GB for a survey and they swiftly arranged a visit. A surveyor, Ellick, arrived and was very friendly and carried out a thorough survey which took around 30 minutes and identified an issue. The problem was quite a small one and he advised us that his company would charge quite a lot for such a small job and that we should contact a local contractor! He was very honest and could of insisted we use their contractors. All in all it was an excellent service and deserving of 5 stars. Definitely recommnded.

Fantastic experience

These people have saved my life
Had Joel Kyle Dylan and Craig from Home Energy Save GB quite literally saved my life today. Been utterly messed around with my insurance company who had promised to help with a claim. After a Google search, this company name came up and I called them. I wish I had found them earlier. Within minutes, my call was returned and an initial appointment made. I did not feel under any pressure to proceed and if anything, felt complete immediate relief.
The gentlemen named above came out within a few days, arrived smartly on time and powered through a really tricky job with ease, passion and professionalism at all times.
It has saved me from having another asthma attack and another bout of bronchitis.

We recently had a survey carried out by Home Energy Save regarding potential penetrating/rising damp, and I must say the experience was exceptional from start to finish - the surveyor, Steve Island was outstanding from the moment he arrived - polite, extremely helpful, highly knowledgeable, and clearly someone who takes immense pride in his work.
He conducted an incredibly thorough inspection of the entire property, both internally and externally, with a variety of tools and equipment ensuring he fully understood and accurately diagnosed the situation - he must have spent a good hour assessing everything in detail, even going so far as to inspect the loft space and seek a second opinion via video call to confirm his findings.
Having had a rather unfortunate experience with a landscaping contractor last year, this was a refreshing contrast - the level of professionalism and care shown by Home Energy Save was truly impressive. What stood out in particular was Steve’s honesty; rather than encouraging immediate, costly works, he suggested a number of sensible measures we could undertake first and advised monitoring the situation before committing to anything further - which, in my experience, is quite the opposite of what many companies tend to do.
As we do not have a loft ladder, Steve even offered to retrieve or store anything for us whilst he had access, which I thought was a genuinely thoughtful, above-and-beyond gesture - he even mentioned that if we passed him a damp cloth, he would clean the loft hatch before replacing it, as it was covered in dust, cobwebs, and the usual assortment of “creepy crawlies”, which he duly did without hesitation.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Home Energy Save, and in particular surveyor Steve - a thoroughly deserved 10/10.

I recently had a survey carried out by Ste Critchley from Home Energy Save regarding possible cavity wall insulation.
Before Ste visited, a couple of other companies had already looked at the property and quoted for the work, suggesting it was required. Ste, however, carried out a proper and thorough survey and explained that in our case cavity wall insulation was not actually needed.
I really appreciated the honesty. It would have been very easy for someone to simply go ahead with the work, especially after others had already quoted for it, but Ste was completely straightforward and professional throughout.
There was no pressure, no sales pitch — just honest advice, which was genuinely refreshing.

Jack, the surveyor, came out to carry out the initial checks. He was very thorough, explained the problem clearly, and provided a solution that made sense. I also spoke with Andy about my specific needs, and the company was very accommodating and understanding.
The workmen, Alex and Ben, were amazing. They were professional, explained everything they were going to do, answered all of my questions, and were very considerate of my needs as I am disabled. They didn’t rush the work and made sure everything was done properly. They also cleaned and tidied up afterwards and checked that I was completely satisfied with the job.
They even came back on a second day as that worked better for my needs, which I really appreciated.
Thank you to everyone at Home Energy Save. I would definitely recommend them.
