Very polite and up front

I enquired about selling my house with home house buyers as I was in need of a quick sale. Christopher called me the next morning and talked me through the process and how their company works. A fantastic service and gets the job done quickly and hassle free. Our property is now sold and we can continue with our lives without the burden of waiting for a buyer and faffing around with viewings. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for a quick sale!

Christopher contacted me about potentially selling our rental property after I made an enquiry, he was lovely to deal with, I didn't feel under any pressure to accept the offer that he made me. Unfortunately it was too low but he has offered an alternative should I wish to consider it in future.

Overall I have to admit this was a positive experience. Christopher was very polite, responsive and accessible. He and Andrew made the process very easy indeed.

I was very skeptical about selling to Home House Buyers. My impression was that these companies prey on vulnerable people who are in desperate situations and need an urgent sale. I was put off my the online reviews, which felt too positive to be genuine (particularly with one customer claiming that they were offered an incentive to leave positive feedback). I was waiting for engineered delays and then a last minute reduction in the offer, but this did not happen. They did not incentivise me to leave positive feedback.

Their model is to offer a price that is lower than what might be hoped for at market, but in exchange for this they make the process fast and honestly almost completely hassle free. You may be able to improve (marginally) on the initial offer through negotiation.

They provide an independent conveyancer and cover all the costs. My initial estimated completion date was a little ambitious, but the whole process was completed within under 2 months. They did not look for an excuse to drop the price further. There was always somebody to answer the phone if I had any questions.

I would recommend Home House Buyers (and I would ask for Chris). And I would use them again, but only in a situation where I was willing to accept a lower-than-market price in exchange for a low-hassle and timely completion. If you have the time and bandwidth for auction or traditional sale then this will almost certainly get you a higher price.

They called me back and gave me a clue on the price, but not heard from them since.
