I bought a kettle from these people and…

I bought a kettle from these people and paid with PayPal. After two days I received an email saying the order had been cancelled because of an “Undeliverable Address”.
I’ve been living at this address for 40 years and doing on line shopping since it was invented. All my bills are sent to this address. It’s shown on the Electoral Roll.
What’s wrong with these clowns?

Great service & quality

We've ordered a purple glass sink, we were extremely grateful for the ability to customize our order and the product, the service exceeded our expectations, the delivery was quite fast taking into account the distance. The quality of the product is also amazing and in real life it looks as in the pictures which were sent to our prior to delivery. In general we're very happy we have found this place, as all the others we've contacted and tried were not able to produce this type of product and meet our expectations. Thanks a lot to you once again.

Doloria in customer service was fantastic🥰 Doloria was in constant contact in regard to the items I wanted to purchase and shipped to Australia for me. From order to delivery was approximately 2 weeks which I needed. Couldn't say enough good things about the company and staff. Excellent job guys really appreciate your hard work 🤩

Innovative products but the quality is…

Innovative products but the quality is poor.
We spent a considerable sum almost $1000 for six items. Two room chandeliers and two small hall chandeliers, a bathroom basin mixer and shower head. After five years four of the six items failed completely due to poor quality components, usually plastic which should have been metal. in the case of the small chandeliers, both burnt out, melting the ballast in the mechanism which technically could’ve led to fire in the home and therefore even fatality.

What appeared to be value for money has ended up being expensive as all 4 items had to be replaced at my expense and with my tradesmen being paid all over again. I will not buy from this company again.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would.

I had ordered a “set” of curtains as curtains come in sets unless shower curtain - these were not shower curtains. Firstly, they arrived 3 weeks after ordered, which I’m not mad at, but after I had emailed customer service, they just said they could see they had been dispatched. No dispatch email. When they arrived, they were packaged up like some Ebay second hand item. Not professional. They were also wrong size due to selecting “grommet top” & I was told this was my error - it could have been but I don’t recall selecting it as I don’t know what “grommet top” is🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

So, item arrives - delivery fine, price fine, design BEAUTIFUL, quality fine for purpose. But one curtain. I checked website again and no issue. So emailed again & response was that it said in the title the second curtain had to be ordered separately, they were curtain panels. I sent a screenshot of website from my phone as that’s how I ordered & response was that my “phone didn’t show it”…..So the website is not compatible with iphone 12s…..

I went on again recently to repurchase as I had the idea to make the previous curtain in to a cushion cover for my daughter’s toy box but the curtains are over £100. I don’t know where they get off justifying this price - 1) It is a small window & 2) The quality is NOT there.

More fool you if you don’t read the reviews, I wish I had first 🙈

*Edited to respond to HL* - 1) There was no email confirmation until I emailed chasing it up & even then it wasn’t a confirmation, it was response to my email 2) If you acknowledge there is a fault on the page re title, that’s not really good enough, is it? 3) There was no pop up.

At the time of my purchase, all of this was true. HL update re pop ups & emails is bull. Avoid👌🏽

Our system had sent you an order confirmation email after you placed an order. The content of the email contains the products you purchased and the corresponding attributes and quantities. From the information you provided, we had shipped the correct item to you according to your requirements.
While the page title you mentioned is not fully displayed, it is indeed a problem, we will improve it. But when you choose the number of curtains as 1, a reminder dialog box had pop up on the page to remind you "Please notice that one panel means only one, NOT a pair." We had fulfilled our obligation to remind.
*Edited to respond * 1. We have repeatedly confirmed that the order email has been sent successfully.
2. You can't see the full title on the product page, but you can see it on the shopping cart page.
3. We have tested the iPhone 12s, and there is a pop-up prompt.

Never order from this ‘retailer’ this a…

Never order from this ‘retailer’ this a scam. The pictures on their website is rendering and what you receive is worthless peace of junk.
Good luck getting a refund from them.
They say you are now on hook for shipping costs and in my case from Canada its 375$ plus they want to collect the initial shipping which was free, so you get no refund.
The only way is to go through credit card dispute.
Fraud stay away

Don't trust homelava it's a poundshop in disguise. Cheap rubbish who aren't bothered about the customers. I'll never shop here again. They said it would cost my £75 to send a £90 light back. Disgusting this goes on these days. SCAMMERS. Don't talk garbage to try and make yourselves look better because potential customers will be reading this. Your pathetic hope you go bust and find out what it's like to earn money instead of robbing people hard earned cash.

DO NOT buy from this website…

DO NOT buy from this site if you don't live in China! They mis-label the colour of products. Once you have ordered and it arrives, if the colour is not as described, and you wish to return it, you must pay for the return to get a refund. I only got half my money back due to the item being heavy. Not a trusted website!

Maybe the color of the physical object is not the color you understand or define, but since the product has a display picture, the color of the physical object should be the same or similar to the display picture. The displayed picture is more meaningful, isn't it? And if you feel that the color in the product display picture does not match the color in your perception, before purchasing the product, you can consult our customer service department for the actual product image for reference.
when we received the product picture you sent to us, and after comparing it to the displaying picture on our website, they are the same color.
So based on our website return policy, you need to bear the returned postage fee. We have've mentioned and highlighted this to you before you decide to return the item to us. And after receiveing and checking the returned item, we have issued a refund to you as we promised.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR. Let me start out by saying I've never taken the time to post a review on anything but feel it is my duty to do so here. I Ordered the Nordic Pendant Light which arrived after three weeks (shipped from China) with missing parts and stripped thread making it unusable. After providing countless email descriptions, diagramed photo's and a video Homelava reluctantly agreed to send some parts. One of the parts requires me to rewire the light which is A-OK by their standards. Correspondence alone took about a week and the parts arrived 3 weeks later. Even crazier, the parts I received were unrelated to my fixture. So 1.5 months later I still have an unusable light and Homelava has stopped responding to my requests for resolution. Homelava offers no apologies, no options to return a damaged product or one with missing parts and now, no response! BEWARE!

I am very satisfied with my purchase of…

I am very satisfied with my purchase of a glass basin sink from Home Lava. The sink arrived in less than 2 weeks in pristine conditions via UPS. There were some issues with the sink. I emailed my concerns to customer service and received a response in 2 hours.
We had some back and forth emails all done in a very timely manner trying to resolve the issues and ultimately they replaced the Vessel itself without hesitation. The replacement came within 5 days of the date it was shipped and I am completely satisficed with the product and the service I received. It is much better that most companies that I deal with online.

DANGEROUS lights don’t purchase mine…

DANGEROUS lights don’t purchase mine fell down after 2 months as the cable snapped as it was too poor quality for the weight of the lamp. It was GLASS and could have caused a serious injury. HOME LAVA refuse to refund or accept liability.

products from CHINA not UK! there is no 30days full refund policy

I would NOT recommend buying anything from this site. (they are not UK based) Before I placed the order, I discussed a few questions with their customer service. They were very helpful and I felt very confident to buy the product from this company. Soon as the item arrived we tested it out before installing it to our ceiling. It worked although the manual wasn't for this light fitting at all. Soon as we installed the light fitting didn't work at all, we tried different things but it didn't work. We received a remote control with this light fitting which came with no manual. I sent an email to request that manual but never heard back about it. The remote control seemed like a cheap plastic product which was a huge disappointment. We decided that we don't want to waste our time and money and requested the 30-days FULL REFUND policy. 
Their reply was that it is only possible if I send back the product through royal mail or parcel force (they also attached two screen shots about the delivery prices which was extremely high and they don't accept any other company). Their products are coming from China, not the UK!! They have a 30-days "no questions asked'' full refund policy which we didn't receive. They requested images of the product to see what's the problem and offered a 15% refund and replacement parts. I agree that probably it would have been a cheaper option to fix the light fitting instead of sending it back to CHINA but what's the point to the 30 days FULL refund policy if I can't apply for it? 
They said that I can send the item back but they will not help to solve the issue if the CHINA custom holds the item back (covid 19) and I will have to pay the costs for it. So I got the light fitting which did not work, the manual isn't for that light fitting and the remote control had no manual either. Who knows if the product will arrive or "accidentally" gets hold in the CHINA custom and I will lose any possibility for any kind of refund?! The 15% refund is unacceptable so I contacted UK customs regarding the situation because this is illegal activity in the UK. Soon as I told them I had received an offer for a 50% refund. I accept it because probably it is easier than fighting for 100%. 
So I don't recommend buying a light fitting from CHINA because you will not be able to return it, if it is not working or even if you change your mind. Check on google the company because I'm not the only one who had this "expensive" lesson. I should have shopped from a UK based company because they follow the proper refund policies if you change your mind. I hope this helps and do your research before you order!

I wish there was a no-star option

I wish there was a no-star option. This was an awful experience - first the product took ages to arrive (it's shipping from China, which I didn't realise and should have checked better). The product itself seems flimsy and not worth what I paid for it - it's not going up in my house as am worried about safety, so tried to return. They try really hard to persuade you from doing that, at one point they offered me 6% of the retail price as a refund if I returned and IF the item arrived! Am pretty sure this is not allowed under UK law. In the end have thrown items out (annoying) and bought from a UK-based company instead. Buyer beware, stay clear.

Edit: After this review was posted they contacted me to offer a refund of 25% of the purchase price in exchange for me taking down this review. I have email evidence of this and happy to share. That probably explains why they have over 3 stars on this page instead of 1 as reviews shown does not reflect total feedback. My review will stay so that others can learn from my mistake. I did not reply to their email where they offered 25% of the purchase price as a refund as now xonsiderthe matter closed.
