Won't tell me the course cost.
Tried to find out the cost of the combines course AAT level 2 & 3. HLC wont email me this information even though I've expressed to them (4 times!) that I work full time & can't answer my mobile during the day.
Many emails later, still no idea how much it is so decided to learn with another provider who had no issues providing me with this information (over email)

Level 3 Foundation in HR
I am just coming to the end of my level 3 in HR and found the Home learning College and especially my tutor Richard Kirby very helpful and supportive. The classes were very good and helped put the information into perspective.
I met some really good people doing the same course and find we have kept in touch via Facebook and messenger, and most of us are doing the level 5 course next year.
It has helped me in my career and have boosted my confidence. I am looking forward to another great year with the Home Leaning College and will be starting lever 5 Intermediate studies in August 2016. I can't wait.
I would recommend the Home Leaning College to anyone.

Blooming Marvelous
The team at HLC are just fantastic and really really helpful. From the sales team I dealt with when deciding which course option would work best for my needs through to the tutor team that supports me throughout the course. I have not enjoyed learning so much before and it is all thanks to the professionalism, dedication and simply magic team at HLC. Thanks for everything you have done for me and I look forward to continuing my learning with you in the future.
You rock team HLC ... YOU ROCK! :O)

The tutor support is amazing and I would study with HLC again.
After umming and aahhhing about who to study with I chose HLC. I have successfully completed AAT Level 2 and 3 through distance learning.
I've always preferred classroom learning as I thought I had no discipline when it came to distance learning. I was wrong. With HLC, I had the option of online lectures from the comfort of my living room. I didn't feel 'alone', and With a toddler it was the best option for me and I successfully completed level 2 and started level 3 straightaway. I fell pregnant 3 months into level 3 and my tutor was very understanding and without the support of the exams team and my tutor I think I would've panicked. 8 months pregnant and completing my last exams for Level 3, I couldn't have been more confident in my ability. I would definitely study for level 4 with them.
I passed all of my exams first time.
It was worth everything I paid and have recommended them over and over already!

Excellent Learning Experience
I had a wonderful e-learning experience ever on home learning college. My expectation of online training was different before. After experiencing attending the L&D Level 5 Diploma, my entire experience change to something new and special. The learning management system that monitors the activity, the calendar and the resources available are the most important values. The helpfulness of the online support team is efficient and faster in terms of time. The course fee arrangement in installment helps me to pay without stress. All in all my experience is great and I am enjoying my course on home learning college. Thank you and well done!

CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Cert. in HR Management
So happy with Home Learning College. I inquired with various other companies when looking to do this qualification and I must thank Home Learning's sales person, Ali Ifti, for the great knowledge he had about the course - which totally sold it to me!
Home Learning College have provided everything I need to complete the course, the Tutors are great and always on hand and respond in a timely manner. The course material they provide is excellent.
Thank you! Raquel Vidal, Fleetondemand Ltd.

Very very very disappointed. Do not recommend to anyone
I was mis-sold a course from home learning college, i didn't receive the learning facilities until after 3 week (I was then out of my cancellation period). Once I started the course I realised the course was at a higher level and would be difficult for me to do the course. I paid over £2850!!!!!! I called up and they told me I couldn't get a refund on this and instead could swap my course. I decided to go with that however there is a £600+ difference, I still want a refund for the difference however they will not give it. I'm 18 years old this is a total scam for my money as £2850 is a lot and I saved up for it myself. As I will be starting university soon the new course they put me in will clash with my university course. I am so annoyed. I do not recommend this site to anyone. Very disappointed.
Great journey of studying
I would like to say that I have made a good choice for studying AAT level 2 & level 3 accounting course at Home Learning College. As a distance learning college, tutors are answering any questions from day to day with their great patience. Most of them are very supportive and knowledgeable. The course books are great for self-learning which are easy to read and to understand.
I am enjoying the journey of studying at Home Learning College.
Highly recommend!
LEFT FEELING SCAMMED!!! 2 Years Later - No course materials / No Refund
Upon enrolling for the CAM Level 4 diploma in digital marketing I was advised that the course would include three hard-books and no exams.
Months passed with no course materials, depsite chasing them up. Eventually, I was advised that the books were not included (I have evidence within my terms and conditions, plus the original call voice recording to state otherwise). This error has also been confirmed by the financial ombudsman as well as legal professionals.
Despite outlining the breach of contract, due to the terms not being fulfilled, I have had a constant battle with Home Learning College, including them trying to impose additional charges due to their platforms upgrading.
I have still not received a refund of the cost of the course £1075.00, therefore I am being left with no option but to make claim in court and contact the press to raise awareness of this awful company! As you can imagine, 2 years of chasing materials plus the extended battle to attempt to get my money refunded due to their error, is extremely upsetting and exhausting.
Please, save yourself the hassle, disappointment and upset and research another course provider! I am aware that I am not the only one left feeling SCAMMED by the HLC.

Engaging learning environment
The on line learning environment in which this course is held has engaged me throughout the course. There are some little glitches, where you can see that material has not been updated since the last course, but this only effects people who work ahead of the programme. On the other side of the coin this flexibility to work at ones own rate is a huge benefit, enabling me to participate around my own work commitments.
The support team appear to be effective and timely, I have not had to use them on a frequent basis.
The content delivery and design encourages the exploration and utilisation of different learning media and encourages interaction.
Overall an engaging and enjoyable learning experience
Best Experience
This is one of my very first experience in learning through online classes and and also in a totally new country. Honestly it has been a worthwhile journey. My fellow students, my teacher and the college have been immensely cooperative and understanding, they have always instilled confidence in me and have been a major motivation factor. I always look forward to have online classes. It has been the best experience for me.
Really Supportive positive experience
It had been 16 years since I had last embarked on any form of learning so I was very apprehensive when I began my course (CIPD Foundation Certificate in HR Practice) with the Home Learning College. All of my fears were unfounded from the very first 'live class', my tutor has been extremely supportive and patient. Throughout the 9 month course my tutor has been 'on call' via phone, email or skype which is really comforting. I have found the course very interesting and am now looking at enrolling on to the next level. I would highly recommend the Home Learning College to anyone that wishes to study and be able to incorporate juggling work and family life as the support you receive really does help you through.
Terrible
Very disappointed with this company. I wanted to better myself and take an accounting course but due to working shifts I couldn't attend night classes so thought a home course would be great. I contacted hlc and gave them my education level ( a few gcse's and a beauty course) and they encouraged me to start on a level 2 course. When I started the course it was clear very quickly that this was aimed at someone who was already working within an accountants or done the beginners course. Not someone who doesn't have any knowledge about it. It took many months of complaining for them to switch my course to the beginners which I found out only cost £200 when I had paid £1000 for the level 2. I feel they tricked me into doing the level 2 so they could get more money. It's disgusting that they target people who are trying to better them selves. I never got any money back. I wish I would have gone to a local college or not bothered at all..

Home Learning College
I started studying for the CIPD Level 5 Certificate In Human Resource Management in November 2015. The tutors are excellent, the materials superb, workshops informative and the support from all staff absolutely excellent. I would recommend the Home Learning College to anyone considering studying for CIPD qualifications.
Great, Welcoming, Flexible
I studied in the May 2015 Cohort and completed my Level 3 at the end of January. This was my first time studying a long distance online course and I was pleasantly surprised by how flexible the studying was. The tutors are lovely and very welcoming and supportive, the other people on the course were very nice and easy to get on with and supportive as all were going through the same thing at the same time.
The live classes were really helpful and informative and each unit was broken down into points and clearly explained so you knew exactly what was expected of you and how to complete it successfully.
If you could not make the live class it was easy to watch the recording back on a day that suited your work / home life.
The course material i.e. companions were very useful and guided you through each unit very well.
The first workshop in London was challenging as it pushed me way out of my comfort zone but afterwards I was happy with what I achieved and it was good to finally meet others studying the course face to face, I met some great people. The second workshop was ok, not very organised timing wise but other than that it was ok.
Overall, I would definitely study my Level 5 here when I decide the time is right and I would recommend Home Learning College to anyone who is thinking about it :).!
CIPD - home learning college
I have been studying my CIPD level 3 qualification since August last year and I have to say that I wouldn't hesitate in coming back to home learning college again, having studied with the Open university in the past I was dubious as I found them shocking to deal with and learn with but home learning college are another level and I'd recommend them to anyone, the staff are all fantastic and do all they can to help you and make you feel at ease in the workshops and the live classes.
home learning college and AAT are Exceptional!
Home learning college tutors are the people who I must admit are exceptional, Sam Wishart and Adam Rushton are by far the best tutors and have been helpful every step of the way with help advice and just generally being there for you when you need them and actually taking an interest in you and how your doing.
The student services team on the whole are great but on one occasion I have been unhappy with the unfair treatment between candidates and lack of explanation. I had to transfer between courses and pay a £100 fee, that isn't an issue but my brother on the same course had transferred earlier and paid no fee as he fell behind, I actually don't mind paying but having to move course because of a death and falling behind in comparison to my brothers transfer which had no such reason. Instead of explaining why there may be a difference they insisted everyone has to pay the fee. Which I know is incorrect so it just upset me.
But the above issue is minor, the quality of teaching, the support you are provided with, the really high quality learning materials, the care with which the teaching is delivered is exceptional and well worth the money you pay.
I would recommend the course to anyone. If considering doing a course do it through home learning as they are exceptional and you won't regret it.
AAT - Fantastic & Highly Recommended
The best thing about the AAT course at Home Learning College are the tutors. Not only are they knowledgeable about the course, but they are very approachable and are happy to answer any questions - Just what I needed.
The additional support and materials provided were also very impressive. Would highly recommend.
Excellent experience
Having been out of school 17 years I was extremely apprehensive about returning to study. The Home Learning College however were extremely helpful and my tutor was very supportive. I found that I always had plenty of time to study each topic and even rearranging exams was easy, if they fell on dates that were not convenient. I am extremely pleased with the whole experience and would highly recommend Home Learning College
No cancellation policy??
I started studying payroll management levels 1,2&3 in October 2015 with HLC on a monthly payment agreement. At first they were very helpful and I was happy with tha choice I made. However, I came across a problem on my skills programme Sage 50 which no tutor has been able to help me with. I've restarted 3 times and cannot go any further because of it.
I contacted the college to transfer my studies from payroll to bookkeeping instead. They were happy to do it but I have to pay £440 just to do so but was told to bare in mind that I cannot transfer back as they don't offer the course anymore. (Probably the reason why no one has been able to help me). But unfortunately I can't afford £440. So since I can't afford the transfer fees nor can I continue my payroll studies because of my software problem I've requested to cancel my studies.
The college however has said I can no longer cancel my studies as I've gone past my 14 day "cool off period" when I signed up. I only have 2 options: 1- have someone else continue with the studies or 2- pay the transfer fees. I was told that my agreement is with Oakbrook Finances who is a private loan company and they do not have a cancellation policy. Surely I should be able to cancel a service I no longer want or can use?
Since Ive had no response from them, I've contacted citizens advice bureau and await their response. I will be taking action on this!
They were happy to take my money but can't be bothered to help. No faith in them anymore!
If anyone has advice on the matter it will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
