Two symbols started appearing on the mirror after starting the car (Subaru Forester). Called service for an explanation. Spent 40 minutes on the phone. Rep was useless along with his associates. Told me to contact the Subaru Dealership.
i bought a 2023 KIA Sportage. Cannot get Homelink to work. I've spent 3 days, several phone calls, talking to reps, taking the car to a Liftmaster dealer. Tried getting it to work at my sons house, all to no avail. I have 4 other remotes that work with my opener but Homelink will not. So far they have no solution. They've had me try numerous things and nothing works. I have a case number 313949 with Homelink. My opener is a Chamberlain/Liftmaster model 1255R Red Learn button and my remote is a 953EV/EVC.
I took my car to my sons house and tried it with his opener Chamberlain 41AC050-1 purple learn button and remoter 373LM. The Homelink won't even recognize the remote to start the learning
I have had nothing but problems programming my new 2022 Toyota RAV4 Prime to the Genie garage door opener with Homelink. My previous 2012 Toyota was working with this garage door. Bottom line, Homelink is impossible to program,
We have had nothing but problems programming our cars to our Liftmaster with Homelink, although we eventually got one car to work. We recently purchased a new Jaguar which didn't work with our older door opener, so many dollars later for a new Liftmaster to upgrade compatability, the 2008 Lexus doesn't work and Homelink tells us to purchase an "upgrade kit" for any car older than 2013. Bottom line, Homelink is impossible to program, usually doesn't work and is a sales gimick. I'll never buy another car equipped with Homelink. My advice, stick with the manual openers.
