Had HR in to completely rewire my new flat. Overall, excellent service: great communication and good, fast work.

Pros:
Great commuication - constant updates from office and workers about the job.
Fast work - got the whole flat done in just 2 days
Economical - cost ~£7k in total for a 2 bedroom flat
High quality - quality of work and quality of materials used is excellent
Excellent cleanup - all waste was cleared from the house, and all carpets and runner boards were put back as they were before. The wooden cladding in the kitchen, which I told them they could just cut through and discard, they carefully preserved and re-installed.

Cons:
Not decorators - I didn't pay for the additional service of them covering up the plastering work, and it kinda shows. I'll need to sand down and cover up all the plastering that has been done. All this isn't a massive job though, and it's the only minor blip on an otherwise excellent experience.

After experiencing two days of intermittent electricity at my rental property, it was discovered that the entire four-bedroom house needed to be rewired. Amy and Jamie were incredibly supportive, even staying late after 5 pm on a Thursday to talk me through my options and offer reassurance. Just ten days later, the rewiring work started and was completed in only two and a half days. Their empathy, care, and clear advice made what could have been a stressful situation for my Tenant and I, feel completely manageable. I couldn’t fault the service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Zac and his team did a great job of rewiring my flat and was done very quickly There was some confusion over installation of a security light which will have to be installed later

Really impressed with this company, on my recent rewire of a 1 bedroom tenement flat. Jamie came round to quote at a time that suited my availability and took on board all my requests for the job. The quote was issued quickly and competitive with the others I had received. Once quote accepted, they were able to schedule the job when I wanted it done. On the day, the team arrived at time stated and then were finished within 1.5 days. Walk-round done with them to check everything was as I had requested. As the flat would be immediately lived in afterwards, I was keen that disruption was minimised, including that flooring in all but one room wasn't lifted and minimising cutting into plaster. They were able to accommodate and the cable routing was pretty smart in order to reduce the replastering required, so I am very happy with this. Overall, really smooth process, with no issues what so ever. Would highly recommend and would definitely consider using them again for further smaller works, or if I find myself needing to rewire a new property.

The service was excellent, work was unexpected for us after buying a new house. Jamie called the same day for the survey and the work was done as discussed. Theresa kept us up to date at all times. We will use them again for future work.

They disconnected my Garage and didn't reconnect it. We asked them to sort this out and they refused. Quite frustrating experience tbh. Customer service could be significantly improved.

We got our old, Victorian conversion fully rewired recently by HomeRewire. Zak and his team did a great job and it’s such a relief to have a safe, rewired home - 2 Christmas’s without electricity was so stressful!😵‍💫 Our house was a challenge because of the conversion and the stone floors but Zak found solutions wherever he could.
We were able to choose new wall light fittings and lights above the beds - it’s a time when you can really make significant changes.
Jamie came out initially and walked round the house taking notes and a video which gave us a quote for the job. This quote was for the basic rewire, anything over and above like adding wall or outside lights where there were none before is extra, but this is made clear in the quote you receive.
Zak who was the lead electrician came out a few days before the job was due to start. He walked round with us checking and confirming what we wanted. It is at this point that I would advise anyone to make a detailed plan of each room, what plug socket / light switches / lights go where etc. Leave this Pl with the electrician who is going to be leading the job. This will save any confusion and snagging later on.
I have to say though, Jamie sent out an electrician, Joe a week later to make good any concerns and he was brilliant. In fact all the electricians have been nothing but professional, helpful and very knowledgeable - they are highly skilled. I cannot fault the aftercare service.
The plasterer made a good job of filling in and smoothing the walls and ceilings, though I would strongly advise that you do not rely on them protecting your flooring or worktop so make sure you do this yourself - that’s why I dropped a star.
We moved out to an air bnb for the week with our cats as advised. The electrical team swept and cleared up after themselves but of course be prepared to clean, clean, clean and redecorate - so a safe, freshly decorated house!
The peace of mind and the joy I get from the new brass switches and light fittings cannot be underestimated. I would definitely recommend this company. I also want to add that Amy, who runs the office was so good at responding to queries and helping to facilitate the process - she connects everyone and keeps things moving.
Last note - start packing weeks before, like you’re moving house.

As agreed the rewire was completed within 48hrs , the team were efficient and I am pleased with the overall result. I was unable to be present on completion of work therefore appreciated the video walk round showing all the completed work . Aftercare call with admin the next day staff pleasant and friendly

From the get go, Jamie was very informative and guided us through what would be required. Everyone was extremely professional and provided support at each stage making the experience very stress free. The job was done to the letter and they cleaned up as best as could be expected after themselves. Would highly recommend to family and friends as well as anyone looking for re-wiring done throughout their home.

An excellent service from Jamie coming do carry out the quote, contact the night before to check everything was ready to Gary and the team carrying out the work. A full house Rewire in two days. Very happy with work carried out.
