I would like to give Homeserve plc…

I would like to give Homeserve plc minus 1 star, if it were possible. However, as I can not I have the next best option to advise service users of negative experiences. This is a PLC that does not comply with its terms of business or contract. It cancels the call out hours into the 5 hour appointment period, or simply does not turn up for scheduled call out. It fails to comply with FCA 11 principles and treat customers fairly, so much so that the FCA fined the company in 2014 the sum of £43,782,058 million pounds for mis selling and having no regard for its customers amongst other deplorable business practices and the same poor standard of its board directors. In light of prompt payment of the said fine that sum was reduced to £30,647 058. million pounds. It is plain to see it continues to operate in the some vein and has learnt no lessons.
Today that FCA information appears on the register for public viewing and its findings. Today I contacted the monitoring team at the FCA to convey my experiences with Homeserve PLC to the FCA monitoring team, raising concerns at what appears the same flawed business plan and lack of regard for policy, compliance, equality failings and lack of reasonable adjustment. I could not recommend this company to others but would urge you to report any such unsatisfactory experiences to the FCA monitoring team if you are treated unfairly, or unfair terms of contract to the consumer and not offered appropriate goodwill payments for failings in customer care and poor service. If enough people raise concerns over time with the FCA monitoring team and Trading Standards the FCA can continue to monitor Homeserve PLC and one can hope if enough people do continue to complain a further huge fine may be the only way Homeserve PLC will learn.
The FCA provide the listed complaint handlers name as registered with FCA. Don't suffer in silence.
Honest reviews are often negative but, it helps the public make better decisions and empowers the the service user as to how best avoid dysfunctional companies that refuse to change .
