a real response

a real response, not silence.

Quoting almost 4000 for a ac repair should be embarrassing on your part. Especially, since you know the entire built was faulty.

Honda knows their vehicles have faulty…

Honda knows their vehicles have faulty fuel injectors, there are recalls on several models but not the 2018 crv. 35000 miles, bad fuel injectors cost me $2000 for repairs and Honda just says your car is out of warranty and not on the recall list. What a disappointment HONDA!!!

Honda of Bridgeater NJ

If you're heading to the Honda dealership in Bridgewater, make sure to ask for Jonas Amemasor—not just a salesperson, but a knowledgeable consultant and genuinely passionate professional. Over the past two years, we've purchased two vehicles with Jonas’s expert guidance, and each experience was smooth, informed, and tailored to our needs. His dedication and honesty truly set him apart. When it's time for our next car, there's no question: we'll be turning to Jonas again. Highly recommended!

My name is Robert Wilson

My name is Robert Wilson. First, I would like to say that I am a loyal Honda customer. I believe in Honda. I take my car to this service department regularly. This is at Performance Kings Honda, on Fields Ertel Road, in Cincinnati, Ohio. My story begins on Monday, June 30th. I brought my car in for a recall issue on my 2020 Honda CR-V. They had the parts to complete my recall, so I told them to do the recall service. I also authorized a spark plug replacement service, as well as an engine coolant flush. I waited for my vehicle. I was at the dealership for between 4-5 hours. They completed the service, told me everything looked fine and normal, I paid $528 for the services, and drove my car home, 21 Miles. The next day, I drove another 6 or 7 miles. I parked my car. About 5 minutes later, I started my car, when suddenly all of my electrical warning lights went off one after the other, and my front dashboard was filled with error messages. The car would start, but I had no steering controls, no brakes. When I put my foot on the gas, the engine revved up, but nothing happened. The transmission warning light was red. Something serious and major had gone wrong with my car. So much so that I had to call a tow truck and have my car towed to Performance Honda. That was a week ago. During this time, nobody called me from Honda to give me updates, no progress reports, no explanation as to what the problem was. They did give me a rental car that they charged me for. Finally, yesterday, I had to call myself to get an update on my car. The person I have been dealing with in the service department couldn't give me an answer as to what was wrong with my vehicle. After 7 days, I had to take off work to go up to the dealership myself to get a status report. I talked to a manager, but there is still no resolution to my maintenance issue. What's worse, if they can't "reproduce the issue", then how safe is my car to drive? What if I leave Performance Kings Honda, drive my car onto the interstate, and the problem happens again? This time, I'm traveling at 65 miles per hour. If the same problem repeats itself while I'm driving, I could be in a serious injury accident. I can't understand why the technicians cannot fix my car. Very frustrated. This is in addition to the botched oil change I received in April, when they forgot to put the oil plug back after changing my oil, and engine oil ran all over the bottom of my car, completely coating it. I had to have my car towed on that occasion as well. I am hoping they can resolve this. Otherwise, they will lose my business, perhaps to Toyota.

Poor customer service regarding motorcycle warranty claim.

Bought a Honda CB750 Hornet motorcycle. Great bike and happy riding it. Free sports pack was given to another customer (august 2024) so I waited weeks and had to chase it.
Service desk very lethargic about answering the phone and even an email from head office asking for a call back is not always successful.
Then, the real event...Warranty job involved replacing the engine casings. The hassle from Honda cancelling the approval of the job requiring extra photographs meant bike out of service for 2 weeks for no reason. Then, apparently, the bearings and stretch bolts needed to put it all back together again, were not included in the needed parts list so a further week delay for them to arrive. Whole thing took 4 weeks and the dealer Vertu Nottingham did nothing to manage my expectations after I already waited 6 weeks for workshop time and allowing arrival of all the parts!! They couldn't even return the bike to me clean.

2023 Honda Pilot Touring from Schofield…

2023 Honda Pilot Touring from Schofield Honda in Wichita, KS.

Great car, great salesman and great service staff.

One frustration: The washer fluid reservoir has oddly low capacity. As a retired engineer I’d enjoy hearing the reasoning behind that decision. Very inconvenient and unexpected for a vehicle we paid over $60k for (after sales tax). Unexpected in that checking the washer fluid capacity isn’t something on my radar.

C’mon Honda!

HONDA WORLD LOUISVILLE

HONDA WORLD LOUISVILLE ON AUTOCENTER DRIVE:

Unprofessional staff, the last time I went I knew I would never come back because of the way some workers present themselves. The service I had received was done wrong, the mechanics left DIRT on my white interior and unplugged my dashcam (huge red flag to me) and now I have been attempting to contact managers about my unsatisfactory service and neither Dyna or Micah have returned my call on the matter. I have now had to leave a message for a THIRD manager. No one ever seems to be in their office or answer their phone. I will never give Honda World my business but I will not stop until they fix what they did wrong!!! I DO NOT recommend this location at all.

Honda didn't cover fuel injectors on Certified vehicle

I bought a certified 2016 Honda CRV EXL from a dealership in 2020. It was a lease with 30K miles on it. It was my second CRV EXL. I loved the first one so I was happy to repurchase this brand.

At 86K miles we had a loss of power on a highway on a late January day in Maine not close to any major towns. I have AAA towing but it was going to be a challenge to get someone. We limped home. I had it towed to my regular mechanic. No diagnosis. I had it towed to the dealership. They had trouble diagnosing it but finally determined it was the fuel injectors. Being that it was certified and reading what was covered I was thinking it looked like it would be covered. The dealership warned me that Honda will make the decision on that.  The charge was $1597.14. Honda declined to pay for it. The dealership gave me info to challenge the decision. I sent a letter. Received a form response by email 3 months later that didn't even relate to my issue. There was a number to call. Many calls later I was informed that they sub this out and I was talking to the wrong entity. So I call the correct entity. Ultimately, they refused to cover it because I didn't have service records with a dealership and thus they couldn't be sure proper maintenance was done.I

So it turns out if you buy a certified Honda and don't do maintenance with a dealership you are not covered. I use a local mechanic due to distance and pricing and maintain my vehicles per the schedule.
I am happily driving a non certified pre owned Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid today. Done with Honda as is my daughter.

Bought a Honda Izy lawn mower costing…

Bought a Honda Izy lawn mower costing £500 for the summer of 2023. All hunky dory for the fist season of grass cutting. Stored in a shed over winter. Second season the lawn mower started to cough and splutter, then eventually wouldn't start. Contacted the local Honda dealer to have it repaired under the guarantee, however, they informed me it was the carburetter and this was not covered under the warranty. Had this replaced at my own cost of £120. The mower cut OK for 2024..... Fast forward to 2025... have the same issue.... it just will not run run for any length of time. It starts OK, but continually cuts out. This is not a cheap lawn mower by anyone's standards, and if I were you, I wouldn't waste your hard earned cash. My partner bought an electric mower from ALDI five years ago for 50 quid and it's still going, invest your money in one of those because the Honda Izy is not fit for purpose and Honda after sales service is absolutely shocking and none existent.

I got a Jazz and have a recall on oil pump issue. Talk to the dealer (Swansway Honda Bolton
), fixing it will need a whole day (instead of 2 hours they mentioned in the letter), and they don't offer courtesy car, nonsense when this is a manufacturer fault but asking customer to suffer. Very disappointed.

2023 Honda Izy mower

We purchased a new Honda Izy mower on the 05/05/2023.

After storage for 1 x winter - the auti hike was hunting and idle was up and down.

After the 2nd winter in storage it ran for about 2 hours and then cut out completely.

After taking it to a know company where we purchased from they have said that the carb is rusty and jets blocking.

So know you can't store a mower over 2 winters without a £200 plus bill.

Disappointing, had Honda motorcycles before etc and the engines have always been perfect. Inferior coating in the carb? Not fit for purpose?

I would have been better off buying a 2nd hand mower.
