Always very helpful!

This is a great company, I highly recommend them. I have used their hosting service for years and have always been very satisfied. Whenever I have had a question their response is very quick and always helpful.

It's the professionals at Hostupon that…

It's the professionals at Hostupon that make the company great.Always friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Never a problem in over 15 years. Ticket support answered fast. Hostupon has never let me or my company down. Can't say that about larger hosts. If I wasn't retiring, I'd be with them many more years. You simply can't find better hosting or more pro service.

Reliable service and helpful staff!

I have used HostUpon web hosting services since 2014. I can say that their service has been extremely reliable, unlike the company I had used in the past. Even better than this--their support staff are so helpful. As a registered charity, our organization doesn't have a lot of people with technical skills. With only intermediate-level web knowledge myself, I really appreciate how HostUpon staff quickly respond to my questions/tickets and how they clearly explain the options and next steps. I highly recommend HostUpon!!

Web help for those who are busy doing something else.

I run a couple of websites, one of which I set up 25 years ago. I sort of know what I am doing, but every year or so there is a new pile of 'things' that I need to incorporate and apply and figure out. Hostupon knows what the answers are, fixes the new 'whatevers', and has me happily on my way within minutes. They are exactly what you want.

Hostupon FAIL

I signed up for their starter plan (2 year length) and paid in full for it. My renewal was coming up in September, and I decided that I would not need a web hosting service for the domain I had. It was 12 days since my expiry date, and I called them to mention that I will not be renewing. They said that another payment had gone through for the next 2 years! Unbelievable! How much time does one need to give? They also closed my remaining web hosting plan that I had left for my initial 2 year payment. I still had about 7 days until expiry, but they seem to have been bothered by the fact that I would not renew, so they just shut it down! I still got partially charged for 2 more years, and they gave some excuse for the reason. Do not waste your time. There are other web hosting sites that run things properly with great customer service. They might be a bit more expensive, but in the long run, it pays off.

Cheap Hosting

Been a customer for 12 years with their "Starter Unlimited" service. It has been an OK service... it's slow, has had some issues over the years, but it has worked.

Today, they informed me that they decided that their unlimited disk storage is to be limited to 50GB (as a photographer, I was pushing 200GB after 12 years). It's a fair request, given the price. but the person who let me know was very rude about it!

So, between their rude staff, issues, and the fact that they just changed the terms of my service with no warning, I cannot recommend them anymore.

Don't waste your time.

Don't waste your time. After "too long" I moved my 5 small wordpress sites away from these guys. Didn't realize how much I was missing until I did. Wow.

Their shared hosting is a joke and based on the load times, times my sites were down and how long it took to do simple tasks like updating a Wordpress plugin I wouldn't be surprised if I found out the server was 1998 HP running on a dialup modem.

And support,....what support? They don't have support, they have an excuse department.

- Can I get my sites secured (https with the lock)?
"No, not without buying a security license. "
- Why are my sites loading so slow?
"They aren't, if they are it's due to all the traffic you're getting (traffic on 5 sites that no one gives a hoot about).
- Why is Jetpack telling me my sites were down for "insert varied amount of time" last night?
"They weren't, everything is fine here"

They never took ownership of any problems and just blew me off. Done and Gone and I'm on Dreamhost now and the difference is mind blowing, my websites are on a real hosting provider now.
