unfortunately there is no 0 star , i would have given them a zero.
after hours of being on the road to finnally arrive the hotel where it supposed to be our relaxation time , to take a rest from the exhausting travel we found out that it was a huge mistake to reserve in this hotel.
first of all we entered the loby to find only 2 reception s officer that barely can do a thing , we wait more than an hour to have a room (despite the fact that we arrived late at 22:00 o clock) they simply didntknow their work.
secondlywhen we went to the roop it was really disappointed , very small room that never match or even close to the photos of the hotel in their site , more over NO WINDOW THAT COULDBE OPEN !!!!! simply we are breathing the air of hundreds or maybe thousands of people tha slept in that room before us!!! the air never changed since ever because there are no windows to be oppened , for sick people with asthma for example they would die and suffocate in a such room , especially during this time THE CORONA pandemic , how it would be acceptable !! i advice you all never do this mistake and never come to this place... I regretbeing here.... Be Carefulllll

For the price of 280 CHF I got smallest room possible and it was dirty..... Never again
Looked nothing like the pictures.
Looked nothing like the pictures.
When checking in we first got an extremely and utterly disgusting room, with dirty dishes on the floor, cigarette ashes everywhere and cigarettes, leftover toothbrush and toothpaste from the former guest, bedsheets on the floor all cramped up with cigarette burns. Insanely dirty.
Contacted the property and got a new room but the new room was also filled with cigarette ashes and was dirty, with no soap and was just dirty. Smelled so much of smoke that you would get a headache from staying there for more than 10 minutes. Left the property within an hour of arriving and booked a new hotel. Tried getting a refund or some kind of compensation. But they never answered their calls. Would never recommend this hotel or the b&b chain to anybody.
B&B hotel Canne
I have booked a room for a night. The reception works only few hours so it is self-checkin .When we checked in the room haven't been cleaned yet. So we went to the city and when we come back around 23.00 it was still dirty. I am so angry. After long and hot day we haven't had fresh towels to take shower. We are travaling with 6 years old boy and how to ask him to use second hand bedding. It was discussing with dried urine on the toilet seat. On the next day we spoke with the receptionist- he didn't looked surprised, didn't apologise. Don't book with them!!!
Quite dissatisfying
- Reception wasn’t open until 23.00 as stated and even at 22.00 there was noone. The emergency contact didn’t answer his phone because he counted on the reception to be open.
- Air conditioning didn’t work, so it was a very hard night
- Room (102) has had guests with animals, most likely dogs. My girlfriend is severely allergic and had to take 2 x antihistamines just to make it through the night. There was dirt under the bed, so the room was not cleaned properly, even though the receptionist tried to tell me that we were the first ones to use the room!
- When I tried falling asleep, I noticed a strong smell of ashtray. I found out that my pillow smelled like an old cigaretter butt - disgusting.
- The advert stated “family room”, but there were no drinking glasses in the room.
- There was no TV Remote in the room.
- There was no barrier for the bunk beds, to make sure that our kids couldn’t fall over the side when sleeping. It actually happened to our 2 year old.
All in all a very dissatisfying experience - the receptionist promised me that someone would be in contact regarding a refund of some of the price I paid. This has not happened.
False advertising and rude front office staff
Rude, condescending and confrontational front office staff. They Advertise in room booklet for a €8.50 breakfast (with sausages). I politely questioned being charged €10.50 when I went down for breakfast. She sighed, looked up to heaven and rudely explained that the booklet shouldn't be there and that it was old. They had not had the time to remove them. These things happen but you need to employ staff who like facing customers - not ones who see the customer as a inconvenience. No sausages by the way.
My friend and I stayed in the Orchard…
My friend and I stayed in the Orchard Hotel in London, in Sussex Gardens, close to Paddington Station.
The hotel is a B&B only. It was scrupulously clean and all the staff were very helpful and always smiling. It is a no smoking hotel, which was great! The breakfast room was bright and cheerful and the breakfast a lovely buffet style, similar to those in Austria or Germany.
My only complaint was the tea, which both I and my friend thought was horrible. I don't know if it was the tea used, or that perhaps it was not made with boiling water or something.
Overall, we were both delighted with the Orchard and would certainly stay there again. It was good value for money.
Many thanks to all the staff at The Orchard for a brief but very enjoyable stay.
I
Not as listed! Would not be going back to this hotel.
We recently booked a room at the B&B Hôtel LYON Centre Part-dieu Gambetta.
When we arrived for the first of 3 nights at this hotel, we expected more due to the misleading photos online. At £204 for 3 nights, there were better options that we ignored due to the look of this hotel. Upon arrival, we were told that no parking was available and that we could park outside the hotel and move the car in the morning, the gentleman behind the desk did not speak English but was very nice and was one of the only qualities of the hotel.
When we entered the room, we noticed that it was a lot smaller than the one that we had booked. There were listed facilities that were missing (ironing facilities for example). One of the skirting boards was hanging off, which we quickly took a photo of to cover ourselves in the event of accusations. The Bed was comfy as described but the soundproofing was not. We could hear constant scrapes and the sound of furniture being moved somewhere around us, luckily we were tired enough to sleep regardless.
The next morning we decided to ask about parking again and to suggest that we may be in the wrong room due to it's size. The lady behind the desk spoke good English but did not seem very helpful with our concerns. We were told to come back in a few hours to swap to the room we were meant to have in the first place (which was larger than this small student accommodation size room). We only had a short stay in Lyon and decided that we could not do this due to our plans. We were happy to enjoy our trip despite the small room.
Upon returning that evening at around 10pm, we found that our door code had been changed by the previous lady at the front desk. None of which was made apparent to us at the time. So we had to request that the helpful gentleman use the hotel code to let us back in. No new code was issued at the time as he eitehr couldn't do this or possibly forgot how to. So when we left to get a drink at around 11, we required his help a second time to get into our room.
The next morning we requested the details of the new code, the same lady was quite rude to us and suggested that we asked to move rooms but did not return with our luggage to do so, therefore the access code was changed.
After a second day out, we returned to find that the door did not work AGAIN. When we spoke to a different lady at the front desk, she said that in 10 minutes it would be fixed. So we waited outside of our room with all of our things until we noticed that the batteries to the door were under the keycode. We attempted to take the batteries out and replace them, finally the door worked. During this whole process, no one came up to fix the issue we had reported in the quoted 10 minutes or at any point to check in on us after.
There are several features mentioned on the page that are either incorrect or non-existent.
Parking - They do have parking but it was full every single day, completely unable to book for the duration. They also list Parking and private parking as separate services, this implies that it would be easy to park which simply isn't true.
Soundproofing - this is listed on the page for the double room. Maybe it's soundproofed one way but not both ways. Every morning/evening we could hear furniture being moved around or renovation work somewhere around our room. This would be fine usually, just don't list it if it can't be offered in reality.
Ironing facilities - Non existent
Alarm clock - Non existent
Entire unit located on ground floor - We were on the first floor, so this is not correctly listed.
Overall our experience was not great and we would not being going back to one of these hotels. There are better options out there with a better location but we were fooled by the photos of this one.
Amazing hotel…
I recently stayed at the Hannover hotel of this train and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The service is perfect the facilities are wonderful and the location was amazing. This is definitely one of those hotels that I will definitely be staying in again!
Over booked Shuttle
The hotel was OK but the shuttle bus at 6am was overbooked or people pushed in, staff would not sort the situation out. So I missed my train, had wait 3 hours for the next one and pay an additional 51€
No booking confirmation and charged with no-show fee, inquiries (online forms) to B&B Hotel Germany were not responded
I was charged with a no-show fee with a booking that i didn‘t know about because I have never received any booking confirmations. The booking was with B&B Dresden, i sent an email to them and explained the situation and asked for the initial confirmation as a proof, the answer was that they couldn‘t do anything as the confirmation was sent out from the main booking server. I asked them to help to retrieve it as it may be easier, the email chain stopped, no more responses from B&B Dresden.
I went to the B&B German corporate site and filled out the online inquiry form, hoping that someone may get back to me, no responses. I used the same method 5 times to try to contact them within the last 3 weeks, but still I haven‘t received a single word.
I don‘t know what kind of business practice is that, by pushing around with a potentially Consumers‘ rights issue and putting a Customer Service inquiry Form out there but not actually respond to any of them.
Everything perfect
Everything perfect, clean, tidy, comfy room. Friendly staff (with good English) and tight control of the sanitary covid pass.
Great hotel chain, popular with Brits and French
Over the last 6 years we have stayed in many B&B Hotels in France; Rennes, Clermont Ferrand (Gerzat), Metz, Lens (Lievin), Douai, La Rochelle, Bordeaux (Merignac), Limoges (1&2), Brive-la-Gaillarde, Besancon, Orange and probably a few I have forgotten. We have also stayed at Konstaz (Germany) and Turin (Italy). It is simple to book with them, easy to make changes and we know what to expect when we get there.
The hotels are popular with Brits, French, Belgians and Dutch - there are always cars from many nations in the car parks.
They aren't flash (if you want flashy places, you will be paying more than 40-50 euro per night, but they are clean, presentable and accessible.
Most of the hotels have someone on site who can cover the basics in various languages (English, German, Dutch, Italian being the most common), which is great as our French isn't fluent. However, unlike some Brits, we do not expect them to be fluent in English as we are not staying in England!
I stayed in a B&B hotel in Rome…
I stayed in a B&B hotel in Rome Travestere. Rooms are tiny, not enough plug sockets (there was no charging point at the desk which means that you can't charge your laptop while working). Hot water can take a very long time to turn on (it took over 20 minutes a couple of times). The shower is also tiny, around 40cm deep and 70cm wide.
As well as this, on a couple of occassions, staff couldn't speak English at the front desk, so I had to wait 30 minutes for an English speaking member of staff.
Manager was also dismissive and not very helpful.
All in all not a great experience.
Never Again B&B hotels.
So after a long day driving, i thought maybe This hotel Will Be perfect for a rest. A bit expensive but worth it .I booked and checked in so far so good. Around 11:30 started to hear This sound. My Neighbor was snoring really Loud. No problem is a medical thing cant blame This person. I tried the tv om loud i tried headphones I moved the bed to other side but Still hear This person. So i tried to ask the personel. After the night personel Heard my story she Called her manager Stefan . And the manager told me to **** off. I had no right to disrupt their sleep at night. But what About my sleep? So i writing This review in my car, its now 2 in the morning. Iam going to be broken Tomorrowland but Iam going to “sleep” here Better for sure.
Ps This week i stayed at another b&b hotel. I tought maybe This chain is good for me. But no.
Useless customer services
When I booked a room, the hotel reported an error, saying that the payment failed.
So, I booked again - and it succeeded. ... Only for me to discover that both payments had actually been successful!
OK, so it should be easy to quickly cancel the duplication online (or call/email if necessary), right? Wrong!!
After being put on hold for 10 minutes, then transferred to the hotel and trying to explain this very simple error for another 20 minutes, I was eventually told to re-explain the problem upon arrival.
When I got to the hotel, the manager (thankfully) did cancel the booking... But I was then told to email again after returning home.
I emailed twice, but received no reply each time.
So then I phoned again, and my call as forwarded to the hotel, who gave me another email address to send my request to.
I'm now awaiting their response.
Honestly, this is completely ridiculous. A simple mistake, originally caused by their own broken website behaviour, has put me out of pocket and jumping through endless hoops to get a simple refund.
One of the worst customer service experiences I've dealt with.
Five time to use this service and…
Five time to use this service and always very good .. very professional staff and easy website
They twice caused me material damage
I still have not received a response to my letter. A week has passed. They just ignore my letter. They twice caused me material damage. And no one wants to answer it.

I paid at the hotel for 6 breakfasts (for myself and my husband). But I have never been able to enjoy them. This is very annoying. When I remarked to the girl, she replied that there were no more eggs. Why should this be my problem? And where she used up the eggs, if they are not constantly at breakfast. The people complained about it.
And so it happened every morning! This is just outrageous. I was before this in the "B & B" hotel in another city and everything was fine there. In my life I have not heard a rougher answer than this time: "The eggs are over, eat what is left." There is nothing there that can be called a full breakfast. In Amsterdam at "Hema" for 2 euros until 10 a.m. I can take 5 products: eggs, cheese, croissant, a piece of chicken and so on. 5 items for 2 euros. And at your hotel, I paid three times more for breakfast and did not receive a shared breakfast. I eat eggs for breakfast and they promised me that.
I’ll clarify that I came for breakfast in the morning, before the end of breakfast there was an hour and a half. But the food was only yogurt and bread. This meal is not worth the money I paid for you. Moreover, my husband should not remain hungry.
I came at breakfast at 9 a.m., and breakfast ends at 10:30 a.m. That is, the eggs could not end so early, but the eggs had supposedly ended. If this hotel is someone so voracious, then buy more products.
Other guests wanted to eat but remained hungry. They also remarked the girl about this problem, but she did not care.
I want a refund for breakfast and I want to hear that you fix this problem.
Another problem: cleaning. On the second day, the cleaning lady came in the afternoon, and not in the morning, when we were gone. She took my bag, which left the avocado and bread that I bought for myself. These, of course, are not valuable things, but why touch other people's packages? It turns out that the staff does not think with his head. And I can’t feel safe. And if this package contained my gift - a bracelet that I bought on an AirFrance airplane? The bracelet is new, with a tag, I can take a picture of it and show you. I just took it out of there before leaving. I do not think that you would agree to compensate me for its cost.
This should not be!
This is my package, it contains my stuff! Why did the cleaning lady take him away? It was not like trash. She could not mix up. The garbage was in a garbage bin. In general, I am very disappointed with this attitude: there is no food, the cleaning lady took my things without permission. And, strangely, she was not in the morning. After all, then she could clarify with me what else can be thrown away.
But generally, there is a bin for trash! It is bad that the staff does not know about this. I bought the bracelet as a gift, I am horrified at the mere thought that it could be stolen or thrown out of stupidity. There were still chargers and tripods in this bag in the morning, but I took everything with me for a walk that day.
