This companies prepaid reservations…

This companies prepaid reservations never go through, forcing customers to pay themselves and hope to get refunded by HOTUSA. Basically a shady company to never do business with, just a forewarning.

If you manage a Hotel

If you manage a Hotel, you should avoid Hotusa (Keytel today). They calculate the commissions in an outrageous way. Includingd VAT and excluding before/after several calculations, the 20% commission turns to 28%. Besides this their marketing service is extremelly poor or invisible. So you pay fees for nothing. But the worst would be to you to host your webpage on their poor extranet. Depending from vultures could be fatal for you!

HOTUSA NO Refunds? forget it, promises, promises never use these people

this company acts in a very unfair and illegal way. If you book a hotel and see Hortusa come up on the payment section, do not complete.
You have no comeback, they will promise to refund your money and then fob you off when they have not put the money back in your bank. They are liars and have a very unfriendly customer service based in Barcelona.
Our experience was we booked 5 days in a hotel in Portugal, the booking was supposed to be one we could cancel, however after a very uncomfortable stay at the hotel on night one, we wanted to leave. The hotel was very unaccommodating and insisted we pay for two nights out of the 5 nights. We were supposed to get our full refund for the four nights, but they Hotusa refused. saying we had to pay for two nights.. the refund money was promised by Hotusa by phone call and email, It was promised to be refunded in two or thee days, three weeks later we are still waiting. They have a bad record on customer service. Don't book with this scam company. We managed to get our credit card to refund our money having given up on Hotusa.

Very bad service!

Simply unacceptable! They "could" not confirm our reservation for mysterious reasons just because we had an Italian smartbox to enjoy in Spain and we choosed one hotel in the list they published in the web...they simply refused it explaining that there was no availability. Well, we are Italians but we live and work in Spain, so it costed me nothing to call the hotel and to make the reservation by myself. So please don't kid customers because they are not stupid!!!

Scam and fraud, stay away from Hotusa.com

If you are a hotel owner/manager, don't even think about joining this company! They defraud hotels! They send clients to you (hotusa.com front may look nice to a customer) but when you receive and accommodate, clients and have all the evidence (vouchers, invoices, i.d. photocopies) and ask them for you well earned money - they refuse! We got about 18000EUR worth of business via Hotusa and have never received a cent from them! This review may not be for holiday makers and customers, but if you are hotel owner/manager - stay away from Hotusa, go with booking.com, hotelbeds or any other reputable company.
In fact it may be dangerous for customers to travel this way because they may end up with a voucher which no hotel will accept due to non payment from Hotusa!
Customer service as appalling,it takes months to get some answers (B2B)
