Shelia has been so helpful taking me through the platform and showing me what it can do.Game changer for my business.
A well structured company, they are a huge benefit to our business and have offered great support from day 1.
We use Houzz pro for advertising, web services, CRM, quoting, invoicing and project managing and the feedback from our customers is always how well presented and organised our quotes and processes seem to be!
Said provided outstanding customer support. He was polite, attentive, and solved my issue smoothly. It’s rare to receive such great service — thank you!
Houzz tried extremely hard to get the systems right for you to use in your trade and are always looking to improve or add more facilities as they progress. Great bit of kit
Amazing service & delivery of the onboarding by Shiela Perez
Best product ! Well spent money !! So happy to be using Houzz .
Avoid the Houzz website and do not trust reviews. They don't allow negative reviews. I tried to raise the alarm for others after a terrible experience having paid and not received a Hacker UK kitchen from Marc Antony at Luxury for Living who advertises on this website (in addition to my legal actions). My architect also encouraged me to leave a positive review for them 'too early' in our working relationship now I realise reviews there are overblown - approach with caution!!
Riaza was incredibly understanding, clear, and encouraging.
I really appreciate her input and her explanation of how to use the platform.
Her professionalism and supportive approach made me feel comfortable and more motivated.
Houzz won’t allow negative reviews and refuse to say why. They appear to be leaches on the building trade. The more names on the books the better for them. Don’t matter if there clients are criminals or not
Just getting used to platform looks positive and looking forward to moving forearm working with our business.
Avoid this organisation if you’re a construction company.
We paid Houzz more than £5k over a 3 year period and received no real leads from potential clients . We didn’t get a single day’s work through Houzz for that money.
It’s a total scam . Those we did receive were always around the subscription renewal time and either didn’t respond to our emails or calls . I believe they were fake enquiries to encourage us to sign up for more of the same poor service.
We now get all our work through word of mouth .
I wouldn't go anywhere else if I wanted any architectural/structural work done in the future. The whole process of planning through to completion of works was seamless as a result of the advice and support provided by Emma throughout the project (kitchen alteration works).
I previously left a one star review, they said they’d contact me to sort it and never did. Shockingly awful service. Avoid at all costs.

NO ACTUAL CUSTOMER CARE AT ALL , JUST FAKE PROMISES OF GROWING MY BRAND
TOOK MY MONEY DURING COVID , STILL CHASING THEM FOR A REFUND BUT NO LUCK
THE MOST DISGUSTING SERVICE AND NO AFTER CARE !
NON EXISTING COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT
I HAD TO REPORT IT TO THE BANK AS FRAUD TO STOP MONEY COMING OF MY ACCOUNT

I am a Houzz Pro client.
I would really caution against using this platform as a professional. They sell exposure - not projects. Leads might have been decent in the past, when there was an appropriate amount of professionals signed up (relative to a commensurately high amount of demand from potential clients). The quality of the leads today is awful. "Clients" oftentimes do not respond. Those who do are looking for handyman services (I am an architect..). I am embarrassed to share how little traffic my page generates. Every single other service I use outperforms Houzz - by a long shot. Pinterest (a free service) has pushed more people to visit my website in 3 days than Houzz has managed to do in the 6-7 months I have been a client.
And then we have customer support. Let's be honest - these are just reconverted salespeople. My last two meetings were painful. There was no attempt at solving any issues communicated. It was a 45min sales pitch - full of promises for next year.
My latest interaction is from this week. The photos that I have been trying to select for the "Visual Project Match" have not been uploading - most not even pending a review from Houzz. It has been a week. 10 emails with their support team. Still nothing. This is one of the most basic and essential services that they offer for the price of the subscription. There have been countless other issues - and very little support. If they have the decency to respond to this review, they will probably do so with the same generic message you can find elsewhere.
I have 5 months left on my subscription. I had to call twice and write 5 emails to make sure that Houzz would not automatically renew my membership. The fact that they do not have that as a basic function accessible by professionals on their platform is already super suspicious. Reading some of these other reviews, I can tell that it is by design. I have now changed bank, leaving only what I owe Houzz for the remaining 5 months in the account they have on file. I will be cancelling my card the second the payment for the final month is completed. I would urge others to do the same.
To be fair, they are good at one thing: selling you something that they do not own. I fell for it, others have and will undoubtedly continue to do so. And I get it. I signed up when business was tough - in the hopes of generating some business. When things are bleak, we fall victim to those who tell us what we want to hear.
Statistically speaking, I am sure that this platform works for some. I would be extremely surprised if everyone who signed up was going through the same experience. But having asked around, I would say that approximately 75% of professionals on the platform feel the way I do.
Update: Houzz UK responded. I think if anyone wants to understand what we are dealing with they can refer to that message. They completely missed the point. They did not address a single of the outstanding elements I describe above. The only thing they say is that they do not promise leads - which is simply paraphrasing my first point. In the meantime they have managed to close all the tickets I submitted in regards to the technical problems on the platform. It just gets worse and worse...

I enrolled with Houzz for 12 months and never used it.
I have noticed that Houzz charged me after this period. When I requested to cancel these payments, Houzz stated that I needed to notify them; otherwise, they would continue charging. But I can't cancel before the 12 months have been completed. No emails received; they take the money and that's it!!. Not recommend!!

I signed up for Houzz Pro to help grow my trade business, but the experience has been deeply frustrating.
When my contract ended, I never renewed, and tried to cancel my subscription — but there was no way to do it directly through the platform. I reached out for support, but found there were no proper support channels available. I was told I’d have to wait up to three months before anyone could respond to my query — which I found completely unacceptable.
Even more frustrating: all conversations are kept off the record, so there’s no written confirmation of what was discussed — even when I was finally able to speak with someone via Zoom.
Houzz must follow UK consumer protection laws, which require clear cancellation options and prevent companies from charging customers without consent. This experience shows how easily platforms like Houzz can fail small traders like myself.
If you're thinking of signing up, be warned: there is no direct cancellation, support is nearly impossible to reach unless you book a Zoom call.

Been a Pro member from day one. Find it fantastic. Couldn’t run my business without it now. And each year the options just get better. Excellent value for money too. Well done Houzz!!
