Fantastically friendly staff at the Bacup store - Go above and beyond to help with my very out there requests- always a pleasure to do business at the Bacup Howdens ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very poor experience with Howdens Bacup.
I called the Store Manager and Customer Services twice, neither returned my call.
The Deputy Manager, Shelly said that trying to resolve my issue had cost them! I explained that it has actually cost me nearly £6000 for their mistakes and for a kitchen that I had to compromise on.
Some doors were missing, which took days to be delivered, the wrong colour flooring, work surface and doors were sent. Howdens said that I had chosen white cupboard doors for the top but sent a mixture of white and sandstone , I have photos.
The designer Chris accused me of not paying a bill, he was actually calling the wrong number for payment, I have evidence that as soon as I was contacted on the correct number I paid. I was also concerned that he had been leaving messages for me on someone else's phone !
There were other issues but all in all a very stressful and poor experience

We were in the market for a kitchen and had a quite poor time with other businesses and extortionate prices. Chris at Howdens in Bacup honestly exceeded all expectations. We were practically speechless with the near £11k he shaved off our other quotes with ease. Then another £2k. It could not have been more customer focused. Our experiences of other kitchen providers/designers was just terrible and we genuinely had what should be excitement turned into fear. Chris fully turned it all around. Absolutely first class. Genuinely don't go anywhere else. Chris and the squad at Howdens properly look after you. (Coffee is ace too!). Thanks so very much Chris and the team. You've made us very happy.

Best Howdens I have shopped at, and I have been to the majority of them burnley, Accrington, Nelson, Haslingden, Rochdale and Miles better than jjo kitchens, the new staff at bacup are great and easy to communicate with.

Chris has been absolutely incredible. He has been so helpful and gone above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted in our kitchen. 🤩

We travelled a long way to the bacup branch of Howdens and it was worth the trip, Chris was extremely helpful in planning and organising our project, the warehouse staff were great too, actually loaded the van for us, would highly recommend, if he’s not too busy deal with Chris he knows his stuff.

Always get good service.if going for a length of skirting.or a full kitchen, treated the same.

Howdens are new to bedrooms and they are certainly onto a winner. We offer a special thanks to Chris Wilcock who designed the bedroom and saw it through to completion. Chris has a warm and friendly personality and is a true professional. He patiently made many adjustments until the final design was to our satisfaction. His advice and guidance along the way was very much appreciated. The quality of the wardrobes, drawers and cupboards is excellent. The range of units and choice of colours are plentiful. We chose Halesworth in navy with a gold behind the TV unit. The overall effect is stunning. The fitters were AK Kitchen Projects who did an outstanding job.
Thanks again Chris we can highly recommend your designs.

Chris went above and beyond to make the whole process of buying a kitchen as easy and enjoyable as possible. He talked me through everything and presented me with three designs at three different price points within a few days of coming to measure up. Can't fault the customer service one bit!

Puneet Dixit at Howdens Bacup did a fabulous job of designing our kitchen. Very pleased with his thorough service and advice throughout the process. He listened to us and ensured we got exactly what we needed.

I was returning an item and thankfully Clitheroe accepted the item rather than me going all the way to Bacup

Absolutely over the moon with our kitchen very good quality, thankyou to Puneet from the Bacup branch for designing, although when they delivered it was an issue with the steps and the driver was a little rude and upset me, but will definitely recommend

Whilst on the look out for a new kitchen we decided to pay a visit to our local Howden's at Bacup, Lancashire. We met Chris Wilcock kitchen designer who was polite, friendly and professional and he immediately arranged that same day to attend at our home and measure up and give valuable advice on our new kitchen design. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris and he was very knowledgeable and professional and courteous, not pushy or pressure selling we were really impressed with Chris and the way he dealt with us, his customer service is excellent and I highly recommend him if you are buying a kitchen from Howdens in Bacup. We decided on a ready built carcass kitchen Halesworth in navy. The units are well made and everything perfect. The units went in like a dream and we are thrilled with our new kitchen and its competitive price. Julie & John Goodwin.
