Howdens - Canterbury Reviews 

Been a trade customer with Howdens for a number of years. Recently moved and started using the Canterbury branch. What a complete delight!! James supported us from start to finish and his polite and efficient customer service is what will keep us coming back for more in the future.
Would recommend anytime.

We have been waiting to update our kitchen for some time and we are glad we chose Howdens Canterbury. The design worked really well and the branch responded quickly to our queries and small changes to plan along the way. Thank you Charlie Jordan and thank you to our amazing fitter, Gino (GHD Building Solutions). We are really pleased with the result.

Helpful and friendly design service which resulted in a brilliant kitchen. Great suggestions to help maximise storage within a compact set-up. Fast delivery on order with no stock issues. Would recommend and work with again.

Excellent experience from design phase to delivery. I was fitting myself and Howdens made this such an easy process to make sure I could view at the showroom, make choices on worktops etc and everything required was in the delivery. Was kept informed the whole time. Special mention to Sabeena at the branch who was spot on with communication and design. Would highly recommend. Kitchens are top quality.

Very friendly and helpful. Jay wanted to make sure everything was just right. I felt ‘looked after’!

Went to Howdens Canterbury and spoke to Katlin. She was very helpful and organized a surveyor to call and help with the layout. Arranged to go to Howdens to finalize, unfortunately he was sick so had to wait another week. Went back and they were very helpful and adjusted to our wishes. Day of delivery we had changed our mind and decided to have an induction Hob and they delivered this with our order. It is now in and apart from trying to remember which draw things are in it is great. We went for the Clarkson Sandstone Handle Free. It looks Fab. Well done to Howdens at Canterbury and My Son for installing it for us. Thank You.

I had a very ‘set’ idea in my mind of what I wanted for our new kitchen… and because it was relatively small, it definitely was not the usual ‘u’ shaped format! We tried several companies but I didn’t feel that they understood what I wanted - whereas Sabeena started our on site meeting with ‘where are you going to put the kettle?!’ so straight away we were down to the nitty gritty of how my kitchen idea would work in practice - brilliant! Sabeena was so helpful putting my ideas into a real plan, working out what would and wouldn’t work. We felt that nothing was too much trouble, hence numerous tiny tweaks to the design were made over a few weeks until we finally had the finished plan. We had already booked the brilliant Sam Bowditch Carpentry, Canterbury to install our kitchen and it was just so exciting to watch our plan come together - it had clearly been carefully and meticulously designed by Sabeena because very few queries were raised as it was installed. We are thrilled and delighted with our fabulous new kitchen - it ‘works’ really well .. and the kettle really does fit perfectly!
Thank you Sabeena - and the team at Howdens Canterbury for an excellent job - delivery excellent, telephone assistance and email responses always prompt - and a great quality kitchen - we really couldn’t have asked for more!

Howdens provided an exceptional service from completing our kitchen design through to delivery. From point of order our kitcheng was delivered within 5 days.

We were looked after by Sabeena throughout and I must say a huge thank you. Sabeena was professional and diligent taking care to ensure every detail was perfect.

We would highly recommend Howdens Canterbury, and especially Sabeena should you be looking for a new kitchen.

VERY disorganised with their deliveries - we probably had close to 20 deliveries for just a kitchen & utility room. This meant kitchen fitters standing around waiting for critical elements of the kitchen which pushed out our timeline & increased our costs. They did pay some compensation after I went to see the Regional Manager with a detailed breakdown of the issues.

Fantastic service from Sabeena and the crew at Howdens Canterbury. Sabeena has gone above and beyond at every stage, realising our vision for the kitchen and helping us with all the little things during the build quickly and happily. It's been a great experience and I love my kitchen!

Excellent, friendly service. We changed the design after units were supplied. Although this caused a lot of work providing new units and taking await the old units we were assured this was no problem. As above mention excellent service. Thank you
