Excellent service again from Howdens. Been using for over 20 years. Wouldn't buy a kitchen from anywhere else. Design service is impeccable. Mike was spot on to the millimeter. Excellent price too.

Tried the rest... HOWDENS the best! B and Q make you queue... up to 2 wks whilst missing parts come 'from distribution centres'! Wont even mention magnets or wren. Howdens deliver and if theres a problem or missing items a quick call and sorted same or next day, exactly what the trade needs.

Great kitchen and planning service let down by delivery.
The kitchen was ordered 2 weeks before the planned price increases across howdens stores.
Delivery was planned on the last day before the Easter closure, but unfortunately did not arrive until 17:00 on Friday. When you spend £12000 it would have been nice to have received a phone call in the morning giving us a rough time slot, instead it took a phone call from me at 16:30 to see if the kitchen was still turning up.
On arrival the delivery Van hit our front electric gates. Luckily only minor damage was sustained but no apology from the delivery driver at all. They did unload the van and place the kitchen into the house but was rushed.
A little more effort with the delivery site would have seen a 5 Star review.

New build property and we had a meeting with Howdens 2 months prior to the original moving in date. Closer to the date, it turned out that Howdens had not properly communicate the agreed kitchen designs to the developer so the kitchen set up no longer matched the designs and we needed to sit down with Howdens again. As part of that process somewhere, the features for the kitchen got lost. We ended up with a ceramic hob instead of an induction hob as promised and we are still missing the cutlery drawer inlet, swivel corner and integrated bins and an extractor fan that actually extracts ... two months after moving in. We had talked to Howdens and were promised an engineer would call to look at the extractor fan but that never happened either. There are enough things to sort out when you move into a new build and you do not need to be dealing with a kitchen studio not doing their one job of getting the correct kitchen parts in on time to the developer.
UPDATE: Howdens Dunfermline was chosen as the branch/ depot for this review (as seen on top of review) yet Howdens wants to know what branch/ depot it is …

Despite exceptional service from Ben, our overall experience with Howdens is disappointing. Price match cannot be trusted and failure to call back when requested a further disappointment. Howdens inaction resulted in us going elsewhere for splashback which was requested and probably paid for. Lack of paperwork resulted in confusion. Returns policy abysmal. If I knew then what I know now, I would have gone elsewhere.
