Very helpful service from the sales staff.

I'm extremely disappointed with the level of service received from Dan at Howdens Morpeth. He visited my property over six weeks ago to prepare a full kitchen proposal and assured me it would be sent by the following week. Despite following up twice, I’ve yet to receive anything. On both occasions, he mentioned he was on holiday and promised to send the proposal later that day—neither time was this followed through.

It’s clear this has not been treated as a priority, which is incredibly frustrating. I expected better communication and professionalism, especially after investing time into this process.

Really helpful in store. Had my purchase in my hand and away in a few minutes. This is a very friendly branch :o)

Good service and pleasant, knowledgeable people

I purchased a new kitchen with appliances from Howdens, Morpeth between February and March 2025. From initial contact, home visit, through design, design adjustments, pricing, enquiries, delivery, follow up actions, sourcing additional or replacement parts quickly, working closely with the fitter, and after care service, Paul did an excellent job throughout. Thank you for everything you did for me Paul. Very highly recommended.

Howdens designed and sold us a wonderful kitchen however that is where the great experience stopped. Sorry to say one of the fitters they recommended one Thomas Searle completed about 80% of the work well enough or so we thought then took our money never to be seen or heard from again despite numerous calls and messages left for him. Beware of this tradesman!!

Mark at Howdens designed exactly what I imagined my dream kitchen would be I changed nothing in the design or suggested finishing thank you Mark. Oakelm Carpentry - Thomas Searle did the rest, and THANK YOU ! so professional, thoughtful of my home, such attention to detail and did everything even the decorating- absolute best- thank you. I can not recommend more highly. Look no further

Great staff, very helpful

When my tap handle kept falling off, I took it back to Howden's. The problem was obvious, the grub screw was missing. Straight away another handle was ordered and my mobile number written down. I was contacted today to say it was in. I picked it up with advice about how to fix it. It's now working perfectly. Job done. Thanks Howden's.

From start to finish our whole experience with Howdens Morpeth was phenomenal. We were introduced to Mark who came out and spent time with us going over everything we wanted for our new kitchen. He measured and discussed the next steps with us. Within a matter of days, we had the first render of what our new kitchen could look like.

We arranged a meeting with Mark in the Morpeth branch, where he took us through to his smart office and wen't through the design with us, again he gave us time to really decide what we wanted and where we wanted it. This meeting was so exciting because we got to see the final render of our kitchen on a HUGE screen whilst having a lovely cuppa.

Once everything was finalised, the kitchen was ordered and a delivery date was booked.

We have had our kitchen in a week now and to see it come to life and for us to have our dream kitchen is pretty special and what makes it even more perfect, dealing with Mark and Paula at the branch treating us like valued customers and not just a number or sale.

The quality of service is as good as the quality of their kitchens and we are so proud of ours. We can't recommend them enough and are truly grateful for their time, and expertise in helping to create our new kitchen and bringing our dream into a reality.

Fabulous service. Morpeth branch. Mark designed the kitchen and the attention to detail, as well as the value for money were amazing. The computer mock up actually looks like a photo of what we got. Amazing service from Barbara. So friendly, professional and kind. Nothing is too much bother for her. Honestly, I cannot recommend the whole team enough. Sometimes it can feel intimidating in these stores when you havent much of a clue. But everyone puts themselves out and advises and helps all they can. Thanks so much. My house is a wonderful home now and I couldnt be more happy.

I use Howdens in Morpeth, Northumberland. I’ve got to know the staff well. They’re very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Always great service.
