Good service and a great coffee

Very easy to speak to and great knowledge - Bedrooms now a big plus to be able to purchase from our local branch too.

I have to compliment all the staff at the Penge branch of Howdens for all of their help, advice, and generally putting up with me ringing them three times everyday because we had another little problem that we needed them to solve!

I should give a special mention to Jim for sticking with me through about six different design iterations, and for always being willing to go the extra mile as we had to make alterations to the original design to get everything to fit.

All in all, I'd have no hesitations going back to Howdens for my next kitchen - although hopefully not for a while!

Hanaa from the Penge branch was a complete pleasure, very professional, great knowledge of Howdens range and more importantly advised on things i hadn't even thought about in my space. She was honest about the different range levels and no overselling. She will go away and do me a couple of designs before i get the price from the builder but i felt that she has a great eye for detail, kitchens and interiors. An asset to any company.

Howdens Penge were brilliant! Daryl was so helpful from start to finish bringing my ideas and design to life, he definitely knows the product inside out and how to get the most out of the space you have.

I worked with Jim at the Penge branch in London to design my kitchen, and he was superb- why? He listens, engages and thinks about your needs. I am beyond pleased with the final result. The customer service from the entire team at the store is brilliant as well, especially for spares, changing parts and above all advice.

I had the best experience here! Sara in particular was so so helpful. She went above and beyond to help and was so friendly too. She is an absolute credit to the store! Thank you!

We're delighted with our new kitchen. The Penge team were great to work with from start to finish, especially at the design stage with their experience and advice. Inevitably we had to rethink a few things along the way and appreciated their help and flexibility.

The branches I use just go out of there way to help you, solve problems and to be honest just anything you need. Especially Adam the manager and penge howdens and jacky at Sittingbourne howdens. If all your employees are anything near like them then you won't go wrong

Many items missing from orders.
Then when contacting the branch and ordering the missing items I was sent an invoice for those items.
Most orders arrived partially missing holding up the project.
Kitchen hinges arrived part soft close part regular when all should be soft closure only realising this after they have been fitted.
Really the service isn't great at all.
Then ontop of all that while I was away on holidays I received an email saying my account will be suspended if full payment isn't received by the few day deadline
I'm shocked by the service

So pleased our builder recommended Penge. Far more welcoming than other branches in our area. Jim was outstanding. He took time to understand what we needed, offered great advice and options, the result feels like the perfect kitchen for us. If Jim wasn’t available, Adam, Victoria and the other were always there to help. Nothing was too much trouble.

The team is knowledgeable, helpful and 100% professional. They revised the plans when clients were indecisive, and at every step of the design process, they are flexible, and most importantly they accommodate the client's need for revisions. Their design input was creative and helpful

So incredibly happy with the doors I purchased from Howdens.

I was able to view a wide range in store and am so impressed with the quality compared to other big names out there.

Ordering through a tradesman was easy too. I’d definitely recommend M&J carpentry if you need some doors hanging. Expertly done 10/10
