The salesman and his manager threatened to delete my account if I didn't sign a contract by end of October 2025. They kept applying pressure of increasing their price after that. That threat contravenes GDPR regulations of this country. I told them to go ahead. Have now started negotiating with WREN Kitchens. Turned out to be a blessing because their price is cheaper
Update 3 Nov 2025: An email was sent to them on 27 Oct with copy to the Regulators for Trading Standards, GDPR and FCA with evidence. Got a response the following day with comments: "Howdens takes all feedback very seriously and we would like to assure you that your comments have been noted and passed to the relevant people for further investigation." They forgot to include the Regulators so I forwarded it to them. Not sure if their investigation means it is internal and therefore not for us. It is a week now and it seems they may need a month or a year to complete this.

Designing our howdens kitchen was such an enjoyable experience! Harry was so helpful - he listened to what we wanted but also suggested things he felt would work based on his experience. We ended up going with suggestions for our island and we couldn’t be happier! Harry was quick to respond when we had questions or wanted to make changes.
We are happy with the quality of all aspects of the kitchen - units, hardware and worktops. The return service when we had ordered a unit we then decided against was easy. Overall would really recommend going with howdens for your kitchen!

He gave honest advice on price vs. quality, worked within our budget, and found clever solutions for tricky spots like our awkward staircase.
Now the kitchen’s fitted, every guest says it looks like something from a magazine. It’s become the heart of our home and we absolutely love hosting in it. Couldn’t recommend Harry more!

I’ve been using Howdens at ruislip since it opened. I have continued to shop there and brought my tray through there through various managers and staff over the years. I have always found the staff very easy to work with and very helpful and the present staff that work there are no different they go out their way to solve problems to make sure that they order what I need if it isn’t in stock and I can’t fault them. I shall continue to shop there long into the future I hope wonderful bunch of people.

I purchased a matt white kitchen which has discoloured. Howdens keep stating its not under warranty even though I have clearly demonstrated or proved deposit, purchase and delivery dates.
Although they are prepared to replace parts they will not cover any dimantle or installation costs which is no doubt quite a challenge in a finished kitchen, what kitchen installer is going to want to take this job on ? It would likely cost what I paid for the original installation.
I urge anyone to purchase a kitchen on a supply and fit basis (no third parties).
I've read of instances where Wren kitchens have without hesitation rectified problems with their units, sadly not the case here.
Spend your money wisely.

I have never used Howdens before and found they were extremely professional in dealing with my order for a kitchen refit in a rented property. They answered all my questions and all went smoothly from the site visit, planning and delivery of the units.
Special thank you to Sid for his knowledge and introduction to an excellent contractor to fit the kitchen, and all the other members of the team for their help in making it a hassle free experience all round.
I would highly recommend Howdens.
