Excellent service as always, some of the delivery drivers can be rather sarcastic, I guess they think there funny.

Just opened our account with Howdens, and on the first sale I was very pleased, the staff I dealt with were very knowledgable and very helpful

Quality goods.

Bad service. Always lying about stock and then promise to deliver but don't. Never get all the parts and always a few bits missing but no mention of this when ordering. All I want is to be told the truth and for companies to stop lying and let you know if there is a problem.

Knowledgeable about their products, any random query and they'll know the answer. Majority of all things in stock, only occasionally do I need to wait more than a day or so for stock to come in

Very disappointed with the service from beginning to end with our Howdens kitchen. We visited the showroom and were rushed through decision making, having around 15 minutes in the showroom to say what we wanted. We saw no drawings until a month later and they were not what we had initially discussed. We were then told we would have to wait again for the correct design drawings. These drawings then came and were still incorrect but we were told what we wanted had been written down but it wasn't worth changing the drawing.

We had a visit to check the final measurements the day before our kitchen got delivered and were told if anything was wrong it would be very hard to fix at that point. The next day the kitchen was delivered and they informed us everything was there, despite us saying we couldn't see the cooker or appliances. We were missing 5 cupboard/drawer front, 3 handles, the cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, end panels, half of the worktop and all of the upstand. Therefore the kitchen fitters couldn't do much and we had wasted money having to pay them for a day. We phoned and they delivered more items the following day but still not everything. We then phoned again and were told they were on their way, nothing arrived that day. Phoned the next day and were told they couldn't get to us, we then phoned again and were told that they had already delivered everything. At this point we asked to speak to someone higher up and were given a half hearted apology and told they would start loading the van. We eventually got all the items but would not recommend Howdens due to the awful service.

3 months later and the brand new washing machine broke. We phoned and booked in an engineer for three weeks later. They came and replaced a part, still broken. We then had to book a second engineer visit, the earliest date being another 3 weeks away. They replaced 2 parts, one of which was the same as the first replaced part, still broken. We phoned and asked when we could book in delivery of a new machine and were told we needed a 3rd engineer visit. This was booked in for 2 weeks later. We then had a call to say we were booked in to recieve a new machine. This was put in our kitchen and left. We now have to find a plumber to remove the old machine, plumb the new one and then get rid of the old machine.

We have completely renovated our house and Howdens have been the worst and hardest company to get any clear answers, timings and decent service from. Would never recommend and never use again.

Well I have used Trowbridge Howdens for 15 years it's my local branch. Over the years they have got at least every other kitchen order wrong in some way (I use Magnets if I can 90% of the time but if a customer falls in love with a kitchen that's that).
It would be better if the chimps from Bristol zoo ran the place, but they probably got more sense & would turn the offer down.
I'm currently still waiting for a credit from a kitchen that was promised to go through my account but was put through someone else's, it's been 4 months now & I have spoke to a few people & have asked for the Manager Dave to contact me but doubt this will ever happen. I normally ring once every week or two & am promised something but always left disappointed.
My advice to anyone is find somewhere else to buy your kitchen, unless you have alot of spare time on your hands & want it filled. I will say however the kitchen quality is really really good, I have used Chippenham & Warminster branches of Howdens before & never had a problem with them. Cheers Mark.
Well as an update to this review, the same day that I posted it in the afternoon Dave the manager contacted me & was very helpful & understanding. The next day the credit was in My account I wish I could have delt with him from the start. Thanks for sorting it Dave. I have upped my rating to 2 stars as I think that's fare. Cheers Mark

Always good service and reasonable prices. Good quantity of stock available on the shelf.
