It was great doing sessions with Milo. After my accident, I was devastated as I was off for almost 7 months due to a major surgery in my wrist. My confidence was completely gone. This is when I found Milo and got to know about his coaching. I changed how I applied for jobs earlier with Milo's guidance and that changed everything!

Milo Sevelj and his team at howtojob have been well ahead of the curve for years when it comes to how to go about navigating the application process in the modern day job market. They completely re-wrote the playbook, and were the main driver behind my landing a role in wealth management. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

After completing my master’s degree, breaking into a highly competitive market like London’s financial sector felt almost impossible. I struggled to understand how to position myself and where to even start, and landing a job seemed out of reach.

I can echo what others already flaged red. Very suspicious and misleading behaviour. First red flag - you have to watch a "virtual job specs" video about your chosen profession before you can do anything else. No lenght shown, no skip button. You listen like a churchgoer on Sunday. That alone is odd enough and the rest is in line with this. They openly claim HERE that they are not a recruitment agency. So when I had a call I asked if they are. Milo hesitated first before he said that they are. Which means he was lying. The conversation was uneasy. His focus was on coaching, not the job. Right after it ended my two applications on Reed through them have been marked "ended".
I don't know what he's selling and for what price, but it's not open and honest business practice. Posting fake job descriptions on job searching platforms should result with immediate ban. You can't be a training provider and a job agency at the same time.

PS: One thing Milo did right below was to basically confirm what others have noted. His purpose in the conversation was his hidden agenda, known to him, while pretending it was to discuss suitability for a job that didn't even exist. This practice doesn't make sense and will end badly sooner or later. Why he choses dishonesty instead of overtly offering training or consultancy - I have no idea.

Milo is a highly skilled coach that enabled me to get a new role last year through how to job. He is a highly organised genius that helped me to highlight my skills which I used to smash my job interview!

It's been great to work with Milo at How to Job as a job-seeker in a challenging job market. Milo definitely has genuine intentions to help people like myself and give the advice and strategic tips required regarding how to go about your job search.

For example, in terms of ways to network using LinkedIn and improving your profile - I've been able to get a true understanding as to what to do to and the variety of ways to go about this. This has helped me with my job search and getting a better understanding of what I need to do better and what companies are looking for in individuals.

Milo and the team are very clear and structured - you get to interact with Milo multiple times a week verbally where you get good advice to move forward with and he is also transparent. He encourages you, pushes you and knows how to better position yourself as part of your job search and how to network.

I didn't see this just as something to land a job in the immediate term, I see this as a way to also get long-term gain in terms of being able to confidently network with others and better understand what's required in the continually evolving job market, which is something I can take on board for the rest of my career.

I signed up to HowtoJob last year while I was struggling to break into the job market, and Milo's methods really helped. It gave me a clear plan to how to approach the right people and what to say and they helped me rewrite my CV to highlight my skills. I received support from the HowtoJob team through regular emails, guiding me through the process and helping me to track my progress. Would recommend.

I have worked with Milo ever since I decided to leave my last job and switch to a new industry. With the job market at its worst, it certainly wasn’t an easy task to move to a new role, I believe what made it bearable was Milo. He was a mentor who personally guided me through hi bi weekly calls, and his platform. Along with his support, both of those played a huge role in helping me make the jump to a new sector. I believe during a stressful time like jumping jobs, you need someone like Milo to keep your hopes up and guide you in the right direction.

I had approached Milo when I was struggling to find jobs. I had 7 years of professional working experience and yet I was not able to even get job interview calls.

Feels like a fake company!
Applied to a job that is fake. They have jobs on Reeds.co.uk that never lead anywhere. They just email you to watch a video and then push into purchasing their services.

Edit 17/10: a poor attempt at damage control by milo, honestly he should be fired at this point, his incompetency knows no bounds. Even now they fail to understand why thus review exists.

I applied for a cybersecurity position and instead of hearing about the job I was told a lot about the recruitment company and what they can do for me. I'm still waiting to hear about the job.

I genuinely believe they post position which do not exist just to farm talent, I'm very tired of this practice from these people.

They post "success" stories on their site but these in no way can they be verified as real. Looking into them further reveals very little, no success stories on reddit or anywhere else tbh.

I've asked for an update on the position I applied for but like I said I do not believe it actually ever existed.
