Since I am now fired for a situation I never even WANTED TO BE IN !!! . Everybody who is supposed to be assisting agents on the floor with calls are avoiding the phone at all cost even when a customer is requesting them . The director wasn’t aware I was begging for his number so I can tell him that environment was getting toxic with the favoritism ? .Everytime I raised a hand for a bit of assistance i’ve been ignored , getting hair flips and laughed at ? . I got fired . Couldn’t do it in person ? Even more ridiculous ! fellow wanna be sups sit there and watch metrics TANK just to take the time and laugh at people every time you gain confidence. This was by far the most unpleasant , unprofessional and inconsistent program i’ve ever been apart of considering i knew being in my own space would’ve made me progress. WHICH THEY REFUSED . They all sit there as if HRB is a great company when they do fraud . Put out loans and then loan customers a debt they’ve already paid . They have more issues than any company i’ve worked for , repeatedly sending their customers in loops unable to resolve problems . The escalation team is also FAKE

I will never ever filed with hr again . I been texting ever Dey to find out what my status of my state and no one has answers .all they say is to called the state taxation. In pissed cause with turbo I bed this issue . Turbo helped me but hr block no . Never ever again I will use hr block

H&r bock can't keep appointments on reasonable time schedule. Took a least 8 hours of my time to accomplish return threw 2 different offices. And they still changed me.they over book plus not considered about the little person only thier profit

Stacking fees and the product is terrible. Every year they keep sliding in new fees for a product that requires quite a bit of research to make work.

I tried H&R Block Tax software for the first time and will never go back again. The software had an error in it that I simply could not get resolved after numerous tries, restarts, creating new file, etc. Always got the same error message and as a result it would not let me electronically file since the error was still showing up in the final review. I chatted with a representative, he elevated it to an "expert" and they finally had to issue a case number advising me that someone would call or email me within 5 business days. That deadline passed, I went back to my prior software (TurboTax) and filed my taxes using the exact same input, and I got my return refund BEFORE anyone got back to me from H&R Block. I finally received an email asking me to call them to discuss the case number. At that point my tax refund was already sitting in my bank account. I had asked for a full refund of the software purchase since their software was obviously faulty - but have not heard back from them. I would not recommend H&R Block to anyone. Really should be a zero star rating for this poor software and worse customer service.

Pattidean Wohlford from your Palm Springs office 1751 Sunrise Way. This is been the worst experience I have had with anyone who has worked with me over the past 45 years. She was rude unhelpful and just wanted to put in the info and move me along. I am reopening a small business and when attempting to ask questions she simply acted as if she did not have the time or patients. I have never been treated like this anywhere. She was unhelpful in helping me understand any options I may have. I got up and told her we were done. I do not understand why I was given a different agent as I made an appointment on year in advance and somewhere they gave me this unprofessional rude tax girl. DO NOT USE HER.... Warning___

Software referred to menu that was not on screen. Rep could not tell me where is was. Tried them because TurboTax went to Win 11. I ended up buying a laptop and TurboTax, completed return in 2 hours vs noncompletion after waiting 2 weeks on escalated call back and then they still couldn't answer the question.

If you’re a minority stay out of the Brooksville H&R Block office especially the one that has Shawna Stout in it. Also, the one on Mariner and Northcliffe they have no customer service skills. They over talk you, especially the Manager Shanna Stout. She doesn’t do well with customer service or minorities. She has that stay in your lane attitude. She even over talk her superior a very bad experience. I advised that you go somewhere else..

I have H&R Block tax software since 1998 and this year, 2025 has proven to be the most daunting. I usually file by mid February, not this year, all because of Form 4562. According to the IRS, this form was available 26 January of 2026. Why won't Block put it up on the tax software? For me this one form is holding up the whole process. The rest of the software works very well.

I found an error on my State return. I couldn't fix manually because HR Block had automatically populated the State return data from my Federal return (which was correct) but the onine agents were not helpful after 3 attempts and 3 hours later. I finally called and spoke with a real human being that insisted that there was not any error, but if I wanted it double check by their tax pro it would cost me additional $65 dollars. I said, hell no. I deleted my account and went with another online system and both my federal and state were completed correctly within 50 minutes

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
IF THEY MESS UP THEY WILL NOT FIX THEIR MISTAKES....
Working with H&R Block has been a full-blown nightmare. We’ve made over five different appointments, not one of the representatives we met with was qualified to help us with what we actually needed done. Every time we showed up, we were either redirected, was ghosted and they no showed to the appointment scheduled, told someone else would need to handle it, or left without any real progress.

To make matters worse, they messed up a previous year’s tax return and still have not been able to fix it. Trying to get a refund corrected and get a refund for the poorly done tax return has been incredibly frustrating and drawn out.
Communication has been poor, follow-through has been inconsistent, and no one seems to take ownership of the issue.

The level of customer service is shockingly low. I would not trust them to handle my taxes again. It is completely unacceptable that I am now incurring additional fees and wasting my time just trying to get them to correct their own mistakes.

I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for tax preparation services.
If they mess up on your tax return they will not refund you nor will they be able to fix it and you are left to clean up their mess they made. It's incredible how poorly this company is ran.

Just received my tax return from H&R Block. The HRB rep was very nice but when I saw the charge $485, I expressed my shock! I was told they had to use 2 more forms. That was a $79 increase over last year. Their service is way over priced! This is the last year I'll use their service. Definitely not worth it!

Slow, unprofessional, and messed everything up. Do not trust them with your money .

I only tried this extremely lousy program because Turbo tax will not run on windows 10 this year. Always used Turbo tax and had great service. I wanted to delay getting a new computer so went with H and R Block. It is not user friendly, and trying to import financial info from my advisor was absolutely impossible. I highly regret spending the $50 on this terrible program.

Never using again. How the hell you gonna tell me “it takes three to five days for us to send you your refund, we have it, we just have to process it”. But let’s get to before that. You tried to tell me you didn’t get my refund to pay for your dumb fees, one of them I was forced to pay for even though I was filling my own taxes. I told the lady 20 times I had already checked the irs website and told her exactly what I saw before I had to demand a manager because obviously she doesn’t know her job, then the manager admits they do have my money, but it’s gonna take times to “process “. Last time I’m ever using their services

Terrible experience. Been waiting for the “tax professional” to review my return for daysc only to find out that my return was dumped by whoever “professionall” it was assigned to. Wasted days waiting for a reply. Good thing I went to check it my return was not going to be filed.
This company is ridiculous. I will never use them again.

Had many issues with the app and website, not saving the data I tried to edit, so I had to redo many things. I paid extra for their self employed tax filing option, to get the payment taken out of our refund it was another charger of course, and for Spruce, since they claimed we would get our refund early. But, not the case. Additionally, our card has STILL NOT ARRIVED, and it's been over 3 weeks since it was mailed. Ridiculous. I don't see anything special offered from this company. They just trick people into paying for nothing. I'm going back to Free Tax USA next year. It would have been the exact same had I went through them like I did the 2 years prior, only we would have had about $130 more coming back to us. What a joke. Do not recommend.

Worst tax product I have ever used. Do not use this one. I needed for add a 1095a to my taxes ref insurance. They never said anything about another form that is mandatory. There is no explanation on how to fill it out and so my "tax pro" told me my return was rejected even though I was able to get all the way through it and no red flags came up. Now I am locked out of it and can't get to my return to fix anything. I don't know if I have to start over again or what.

This Company is a SCAM piece of crap and I will never be going through them again, and will let every person I know to do the same. I decided to go through H&R Block because they said I could get up to a $4000 cash advance. My refund is over $12,000. They said I have to meet someone to get the advance, file with a H&R person. This increases the cost of filing by a lot! I decided to not use turbo tax as I preferred to just get an emerald card to get bills caught up faster and they did a $1000 advance more. I go in file taxes was charged almost 500.00 mind you TurboTax would have been 135.80 with an advance of 3k! After filing I am told I was declined for the advance! STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE H&R is a piece of crap. They make you come in so they can charge the crap out of you, tell you that you will get a refund advance and then they screw you! I would have gotten a 3G advance instead I get completely screwed, and will probably have my electric shut off, cool no electricity with 5 kids due to your Piece of CRAP COMPANY. I will be going over contract in detail with a lawyer. Screw you. Everyone that got screwed by this please file with the FTC a complaint. H&R Block was literally just fined for deceptive practices 7 million and now they are doing it again. I am filing a complaint if this is not made right immediately. Everyone that gets screwed really need to file. This deception can not continue. I should have never went through them.
