My husband brought me an emerald and diamond ring for my wedding anniversary, however after 2 months one of the stones had simply fallen out. I went to a store near my work, the assistant was most dismissive, didn’t apologise or seem to really care. After at least half hour and blaming her PC for being slow as it’s been overworked (Monday lunchtime) she finally ordered me a replacement. I asked for this to be delivered to another store closer to me. On collection at the other store, they couldn’t immediately find the ring or could work out what to original assistants had done however, they were more than happy to spend time while I waited to look into it and found the ring in that days delivery. Tracy at the branch (Hempstead Valley) was so nice and couldn’t do enough. Completely different experience that the original shop which I’d make a point of not visiting again. She did give me a QR code to do a Google review but it doesn’t work as I don’t have a gmail account. Hopefully this will be relayed back to the branch.

The two staff that served my wife and myself were absolutely excellent. Lorraine and Tracy were so helpful we puchased a ring for my wife and a watch for myself.
They made the whole experience very enjoyable.

My husband and I visited H Samuel Jewellers, Hempstead Valley today and would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful staff there, especially Terri who was so helpful and kind. Thank you so much for a lovely and relaxed shopping experience.

I purchased a Sekonda watch from this store in December 2023. The lady who sold me the watch was very helpful and pleasant. About a week ago i noticed the left hand bad was showing discolour complete left hand side. I had only worn the watch 6-7 times. On returning watch to shop to try and return i was greeted by Tracy who was totally unhelpful in trying to resolve my issue saying this was wear and tear and that's that. For a watch that has had light and infrequent use this was totally unacceptable response to the issue with a watch that is not even 30 days old.
Tracy's attitude was poor and going forwards i will never recommend Samuels to friend or family.

Went with my fiancé to pick out an engagement ring and wedding rings. We went to the Hempstead valley branch and Sherry showed us so many rings and gave us all the time we needed. The rings had to be sent off for resizing and the store kept me updated constantly. When I went to collect the staff were all so lovely, such a friendly store. Thank you

A lovely lady at the Hempstead valley branch named Sherry was absolutely brilliant. I bought a bracelet as a gift from the blue water branch, when taken back because it was too long, was told they’d charge £40. I had also bought the two year warranty. I went to Hempstead determined to return it but Was asked why. When I told her she was surprised and said that they can do it no charge. Lovely lady and very helpful. So the 5 star review is for Hempstead valley branch, not so much Bluewater

Totally recommend this store. Although a small branch, the stock is excellent. The manager & staff were not only helpful, but have many years of experience in the jewellery industry. Nothing was too much trouble. We bought a gold chain & gold bracelet for my son’s 21st birthday. The manager kindly reserved the jewellery which was in store whilst we waited for additional jewellery to be transferred to Hempstead Valley for choice. This only took 1-2 days & were telephoned once received. This was more convenient than driving to Bluewater, plus a more personal touch being a smaller branch. Thank you Hempstead Valley

Ordered myself a gold wedding band, which was a little late arriving but only by a couple of days. Ordered the wrong size & the Hempstead branch had it sorted for me in no time.

The necklace does not hang very well around neck not that happy with it

I had two rings removed using a cutter tool, the three ladies that worked there are all very friendly and polite .

I purchased a Mary Poppins ring being a fan of hers &the film, I love the ring I have been after this ring for ages, I was even more pleased as I got it in the sale as its not real gold I would not pay full price for it, I was a bit disappointed as I did not receive a Disney Jewellary bag for it to go in I was given a plastic bag, the click and collect was very quick, staff were lovely & helpful.
