Extremely disappointed and honestly heartbroken.
We ordered our wedding rings only a few weeks before our big day and were clearly assured by the store that everything would arrive on time. We trusted that promise. My ring arrived just in time — but my husband’s ring was suddenly cancelled at the last minute, with no explanation and not even a proper apology. Just like that, days before our wedding, he was left without a ring.
When I went to collect my ring and explained what had happened, the response I received was unbelievable. The seller casually said, “Well, you’ll get your refund.” As if a refund replaces a wedding ring days before the ceremony. I was completely shocked. I explained that we still needed a ring — this was our wedding — and he simply replied that there wasn’t much time now.
No urgency. No accountability. No real apology. Just indifference.
We will never rely on this company again!!!!

I received a silver bracelet for…
I received a silver bracelet for Christmas and on first wear it snapped (looked at reviews online and this has happen to others with the same bracelet) took it to Leicester store for a exchange, but no luck, store Manager would not exchange! Very flimsy, not fit for purpose purchase.

Disappointing service buying Engagement Ring
I bought an Engagement Ring from H.Samuel Leicester and although I had a rough idea, I was unsure of my partners exact ring size. I was assured by the staff member who served me that if this was the case then as long as I brought the ring back within the stated time of the policy I would get a replacement or the ring would sent for resizing at no extra cost.
The ring was a size too large, so, as advised my partner and I took the ring back to get it exchanged. Apparently after much scrutiny of the ring under the magnifying glass, the ring had a mark (despite again following the advice of the staff member who served me and only taking the ring out the box to propose and immediately putting it back if it was the wrong size). Because of this the ring was sent for resizing which would take around two weeks. Although frustrating, this wasn't the end of the world.
After 10 days of waiting, I then received a call from a team member at H.Samuel telling me that there was a chance the ring would break when being resized and that it was 'of my discretion' as to whether they went ahead with this and if did break I would get a broken ring back. Something everyone loves to hear when they have spent in the thousands. At no point up until this time was this ever mentioned to me!!
Obviously I rejected this as I did not want to risk getting a broken ring back and so my only option was to spend another £50 to have the original ring refurbished. We then had to wait yet another 10 days for a new ring to arrive.
Overall, a disappointing experience. I appreciate this may be company protocol and it may be hidden away somewhere in their T&C's but you almost feel tricked into having to pay more. There is absolutely no reason why this could not have been brought up in the original sale and this has put me off using H.Samuel in the future.

Fantastic service and staff at H Samuel
It was our 10th anniversary and we were looking for a new engagement ring. We looked in a few jewellers but came back to H Samuel as the service was so good. I chose a ring and then decided my eternity ring with 5 emeralds needed cleaning to compliment my shiny new ring, this had to go away to be re sized and tge eternity ring to be cleaned.
I picked them up about a month later amd when I got home to my horror one of the emeralds had fallen out! I rang Monday morning and was assured by Callum (I think) that it would be replaced at no cost, when my husband took the ring in he was even given some petrol money for his trouble.
We collected the ring a few months later and Julia the manager said all of the emeralds were spongy so they had replaced all 5!
You can image how pleased I was it was like s new ring I was so happy thank you very much for excellent service I have recommended you to all of my friends.
