Very easy to use. If you can use a normal vacuum cleaner then this is really easy. Emptying it is also really easy as well with the little outlet on the bottom. It cleared the surface water from my carpet really well. I was shocked to see how brown the water was but that was how dirty my carpet was. Definitely recommend it.... If you do hire it remember to hire the transformer to go with it. I didn't but it was no problem as the person behind the desk sorted me out with one.

It does what a vacuum is meant to do!! Hose could do with been longer.

Good vac that did the job after whole house replastered.
