Vote with your wallet parents/schools

Vote with your wallet parents/schools. There are a lot of brilliant school photographers available, please don’t stick with this very poor company. Their Trustpilot reviews tell you everything you need to know. Yes, occasionally you get a good photo but are you willing to risk it being your child without their school photo. It won’t happen to me again. Even taking your own is better than that. Poor service and shocking customer service.

Disability shaming lives on

The fact that 66% of this lots reviews are 1 star should tell you everything.

Offering other parents the opportunity to airbrush their apparently undesirable or different classmates from history. On behalf of parents of neurodiverse children everywhere, I can’t write exactly what I’d like to, so let me just say Buck Too.

Deplorable. Discriminatory. Downright appalling. Evidently there’s no legislative comeback to this “business decision” but maybe schools will finally vote with their feet and we’ll see the back of this mob.

Equity Release…

They put their branding on front of paid photos!!!

Worst company ever. They put their brand name on every photo you purchase to look at for years!!! Awful. Ads on front of paid photos? What? They do like this every year. Never let you purchase digital photo. So you have no choice, only to see they branding first on every photo you paid for. I am sick… ble

They charged me £7.50 for a 'phone photo'…

They charged me £7.50 for a 'phone photo' and then sent me a photo that has such a low resolution that is it almost unusable. The photo they sent me was 600x750 - that's less than 0.5 mergapixels! My phone takes photos that are 4000x3000 - 12 Megapixels, so I don't know how they class the photo they sent me as a phone photo? A waste of £7.50, and I won't be using / purchasing from Tempest again.

This company supports bullying

This company supports bullying - I overheard conversations between a possible manager and a photographer near Taunton. After questioning a few other people who worked as photographers, they said they experienced similar things. This company is terrible! I didn't work for them or have anything to do with them, but knowing how they treat their photographers is terrible. I refuse to stand for bullying! I recommend all schools and associates should stop using this company. They don't seem to be properly regulated.

The company is irresponsible

The company is irresponsible and trying to run away with your money.

I don’t know how they have come up with their Digital packages as it is apparently cheaper for them to Buy a USB Drive, Load 3 photos (3 that’s it) and then ship it to the school all for the handsome price of £42. Download 1 image is £18.50!

How can it be cheaper to deliver and swallow the cost of the USB stick than let me download it and why can’t I have more photos for a nominal cost?!

Dishonest company

Horrible customer service, not received order and no refund of deposit. My order including all my contact details and photos was sent to someone else who contacted me and also tried to get them to collect the order and send it to the right adress but I have still not months later received it.

Outrageously overpriced

Outrageously overpriced, bland formula photography.
You can tell they have a monopoly on the school photo business - they stick to a formula, do it poorly, and then overcharge.

Overpriced

Well Overpriced. Disgraceful how they have the monopoly on rinsing parents. An ok picture of my child but want an over the top price for it. Customer service is lacking, plus cheaper poorer quality cardboard frames.

I feel conned!

Ordered school photos on my daughter's behalf without realising that there were two images taken. I ordered what turned out to be landscape with the top of his head cut off! Realising my mistake and within two hours of ordering I called them to cancel the order only be told that had already been processed in their system and couldn't be cancelled! I now feel that that I was fobbed off with this excuse so that they could get more money out of me. Well they won't and I hope that the school go back to their previous photographer who offered far better packages at a more acceptable price.

Tried to ring Tempest with issue regarding over billing due to Tempest oversight but was on hold for 30 + minutes - with no answer! Terrible customer service ! - shame I cant leave a zero star rating !

Don’t buy, bad quality proof photos and snotty customer service

Quality on sample doesn’t show a mark on his jumper only found this out when I received my order. Contacted them and asked if they could fix this, they said I would have to pay an additional £25 to get this removed now this is not on the order form and also the quality of the photo on the order form does not show this mark, if it had I would not of ordered, I then got a snooty response of well you could of viewed it online but I advised them I ordered online and it said the image was not available and may not be available for another 7-10 days. To which she responded I could go back online and look. I mean no offence but if iv ordered online and it wasn’t available at point of order I’m not going to go back on when i have a picture of the image on the order for which is of bad quality if it’s not visible on the proof photo. So in a way I’m being penalised for their bad proof work
