Hugo Boss QVT Sydney store - rude servicee

Hugo Boss QVT Sydney store. Really disappointed with the standard of customer service at this store. I have shopped there regularly. Ordered a mid length jacket last week, which for my size had to come from Canberra. Went to try on and pay/collect this morning.
Very rudely, while being served the sales attendant started serving another customer who walked in while I was discussing my purchase. She addressed this other customer in a non English language and every time he asked something she stopped attending to me an went and fawned over this other customer. Now I am dressed in Hugo Boss head to toe. This attendant doesn't recognise my brand loyalty as she would rather attend to someone else in a track suit. So guess what happened. I walked out. Didn't buy the $1,000 jacket. And I will start dressing under another brand that understands customer service.

Shocking Customer Service at Brighton Store

My husband recently visited the Brighton Hugo Boss store to return some clothing he had purchased as a gift. The items were unworn (one briefly tried on), still in their original packaging with labels attached, and brought back within 7 days.

Shockingly, the store manager refused the return, accusing him of returning clothes that “smelt musty” and “looked washed” — which was simply untrue. He was publicly embarrassed by being asked to compare items by smell in front of other customers, and was ultimately threatened with security and told he was trespassing — despite remaining calm and polite throughout.

He later went to a Hugo Boss store in London, where staff refunded the same items immediately, no questions asked.

The contrast in service was staggering. The Brighton store’s treatment was hostile, humiliating, and completely at odds with what one would expect from a premium brand. Very disappointing experience.

Violation of your return policy by you!!!

This is the first time I have encountered such a disgraceful service, it feels like I am being treated like shit, excuse my French. I placed an order 67381900, the size didn't fit and I was hoping to get a replacement, but since they don't change the size, I had to wait for the refund but more than 40 days have passed since the return and they still haven't processed it, they can't clearly indicate the deadlines and what the problem is, it looks like they are delaying time for some unknown reason. Now they have broken my heart, will not order online anymore, they should visit at least one of their boutiques and understand what high-level service is, in whatever country I have visited a boutique I have always been treated with respect, but this is just disgraceful, my patience is running out otherwise I will simply dispute the transaction, but it looks like they are not in the mood for a constructive dialogue, every time the same thing we passed on your request and silence and no deadlines, shame!

Terrible Customer service and no updates at all !!!

Like others have stated the customer service is ZERO !!!
I placed order one week ago and it is still sitting at pending, contacted through their " Contact us " facility, and what a joke, was told that they were improving the service and had issues so would have to wait, when i said that is no improvement best i just cancel the order, quick as a flash the reply was ok, not even a hint that it might be released for delivery soon, so when i pointed this out his response was " seems like no matter what we do you are not happy" i wish he had been sitting next to me !!!! usually never a problem with Boss but this has put me totally off them, usually buy for myself and grandkids, not anymore and not a company i will be promoting to anyone else, such a joke now, and its not even funny !!!

Leather belt of terrible quality

I purchased a Hugo Boss belt in 2020 as a present for my partner. Despite being well cared for and only worn occasionally, the belt has begun to show visible signs of deterioration, which I would not have expected from a product of this quality and brand reputation. I contacted customer service and they were not helpful, simply stated that this item is now out of warranty.

Regardless of the warranty, I think that it's unusual to see that protective sealant layer peeling off like that on a belt that's been barely worn!!

As a customer, I'd like to reiterate that it is very disappointing to see that Hugo Boss products - that we thought were of high quality - are actually pretty average

Appalling Quality. I will never buy Boss again

I will never buy anything from Boss again. I bought 3 pairs of Boss jeans about 6 months ago and each pair has frayed at the back, the jeans are easily mis-sharpen, they dye has faded in certain areas very quickly and the are such poor quality, it feels like they were purchased from a discount brand. A good friend of mine has experienced exactly the same thing.

Boss has clearly reduced the quality of its products and they are simply not worth the money which is a shame as I love the fit of Boss and have been buying them for many years.

Boss is losing goodwill which once lost, is very difficult to regain.

A slow brand decline. Appalling quality. So disappointing

Refund from Hugoboss.com is missing over 20 days.

Today is day number 20 from when Hugoboss.com received my return back. At 18.03.2025 return package was delivered to Hugoboss.com and till this day i have not received my refund for amount 3998PLN. I have wrote around 10 emails, made few phone calls and issue is not solved. More over i will mention that blazers i received have been wrong i mean on the website pictured show grey blazer with nice Hugo logo brand on the chest but when i received those blazers there was no logo on the chest. And that was mainly the reason why i have returned blazers and till this day no refund. I have returned package of course in time. Packed really well as always i care about returned items.

The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever, they do not know what is happening with my order. Ordered 3 days ago and still my items are not picked. Untrained and unskilled people are trying to convey nonsense information over the chat. They keep transferring me from one customer specialist (in another life) to another. Very disappointed, will never order online again. Decent companies provide compensation, they even don’t do this. I wish I could rate them with minus 9,999,999.

Flat-out stealing from customers.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is hands down the worst company with the worst customer service. I had over $100 in store credit, and due to their system change, I was completely unable to use it. It’s been months of dealing with their so-called customer service, and they’ve offered no solution, no compensation—just endless excuses and frustration. At this point, they’re flat-out stealing from customers. Absolutely unacceptable. Stay far away!

I ordered a blazer a Japanese non…

I ordered a blazer a Japanese non crease blazer for work, i am giving this a 3 star as it is not all bad, the speed of the delivery was great, and packaging good, however the jacket itself was not so great, the quality is extremely flimsy and when washed it comes out looking like its been on a turbo spin, the creases well too much, the lightweight feel seems less in quality and the price tag of 350quid does absolutely not do it justice, there are other more similar brands that are more expensive that you actually get good quality, the Hugo boss name doesn't match the quality of garments so sadly i will not be purchasing anything else from there.

There was a time when their quality was better. Their suits and shirts don't have the same quality anymore. Their shirts wrinkle alot. Their suits don't look good even after tailor. I thought I'm paying for premium.

Refunds are ridiculously slow

I ordered an item but clicked wrong size. When I called them they said the item was dispatched but they could get it back from the carrier. The carrier delivered the item back to them yesterday in the UK but they said they wouldn't process refund until it arrives in Germany. Basically I never had the item and they still won't process refund. Will not order from them again the return process is a joke and you have to wait until ,the item reaches Germany and they have checked before you get a refund and still don't know how long that refund will take.

Do not buy online

I placed an online order from Boss, and they charged me but never shipped the item. I had to reach out and push them to do their due diligence and fulfill the order that they had already billed me for.

After finally receiving the item, I had to return it. They received the return within three days, yet no refund was issued. Despite multiple follow-ups, I still haven’t received my money back.

This company’s service is a joke. I strongly advise against buying online unless you’re prepared to lose your money.
