Visual novel bundle banned item

Visual novel bundle contains an item completely banned in New Zealand, Gun Gal Returns. It's been over 24hrs since I reported it and have not heard a word back, I am sure this will be replied to before my refund or replacement or even just a reply on humbles support page.

Serious Billing Issue and No Help from Support

I had a very disappointing experience with Humble Bundle.

Multiple charges were made through PayPal without my knowledge. I do not have an account on their platform and did not receive any service or digital content related to these transactions.

I contacted their support team several times via tickets and email, but received no response at all. However, they were quick to respond only inside the PayPal dispute, which raises concerns about transparency and customer support priorities.

I am still waiting for a clear explanation of what was supposedly delivered and how, especially since no account, access, downloads, or usage can be linked to my email.

This experience has significantly affected my trust in the platform. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when authorizing payments and subscriptions.

Since Humble Bundle became owned by…

Since Humble Bundle became owned by IGN, it went downhill very quickly.
Less quality, more costly and we could even say illegal activity.

You purchase something, you now have a delay to access the key or else it will be hidden, i'm sure this isn't legal at all but here comes the main problem.
A week before the delay, we tried using the key but it didn't work so i have contacted HumbleBundle which took about 6 days to send me a new key then the day i see they have sent a new key it was already too late, it said that it expired, now Humble doesn't want to give me the actual key.
You know what this is called? Stealing, so now Humble Bundle simply steals you right in front of everyone and they don't even care.
They should be sued and banned, IGN should lose the rights to Humble Bundle as this is just crazy.

They have shown their incompetence and their true colors, do not pay for anything from them ever again.

This company stole my money

This company stole my money. They gave me a false redemption code for Pazio Pathfinder pdfs. I filled out a service ticket and then sent me in an endless circle that goes nowhere.
Do Not Under Any Circumstances Ever Ever Use This Company

It used to be great

It used to be great. But ever since IGN bought it the quality kept getting worse and worse...
First the quality of bundles reduced, then they added fodder to it. And the support used to be nice but what I got recently was the most lack of caring about their clients, being that I've been a client for over a decade, if loyalty means nothing to them then there's not much left to say...

Paid for key without being able to use/redeem it

I made the mistake of not redeeming my keys immediately. When I tried to redeem it says keys exhausted and support is useless. They want the transaction ID/date and last four digits of my credit card and expiration date. This seems like the first tactic, hoping you can't provide any of this information even though I'm sure they can look it up easily themselves. Then once provided, if it's been over 60 days then they won't refund you anyway but they don't tell you that prior to having you track down the transaction details. I'm not sure how it's legal to "sell" something they can't provide and they also can't give any info on if they will ever restock the keys? They are just keeping the money and not providing the product. I've been buying from them for over a decade now and going to stop from now on due to this. I wish I read their Trust Pilot reviews before doing business with this scam company.

for how much they charge and the fact that they keep increasing prices, its annoying that my paid purchase expires in a year. what if i want the product i paid for? it feels like a scam to take a product that was paid for due to self imposed expiration dates on key batches.

Humble was great before IGN got involved

Humble Bundle regularly run out of keys…

Humble Bundle regularly run out of keys for their software, but they won't tell you when they will receive more and unlock other companies which stop selling they carry on selling the titles and bundles. I have waited months for keys to come into stop. I contacted their customer service after half a year, and they sent a generic, we can't tell you when it's in stock. I waited longer and queried again. Now they send me an empty reply. Their behaviour is shameful. If you can't supply the keys, then refund my money!

The offered products were really good…

The offered products were really good on Cyber Monday. The deal wasn't available, at least to me. I took it as click bait. Just very annoying. Support tickets completely ignored. Multiple valid payment methods transmitted and declined payment. Same cards worked fine on fanatical.com - who actually sold me the products without me transmitting lots of failed attempts to make a transaction.

Choice reminder emails stopped.

Used to have a nice rhythm. Reminder email about choice, I check, I decided to pause, or not. Then the reminder emails stopped and two months in a row I've been caught out with the payment.

Not saying this isn't my fault for checking, but why did the reminder emails stop? I've cancelled now rather than pausing because I can't afford to just waste the money on months where I don't want the games. Shame.

I'm getting exhausted...

I mostly like Humble Bundle, but I really hate getting a message that says that 'Keys are temporarily exhausted for this product'. Had it been a few games then I guess it would've been somewhat ok, but I have about 40 games from Humble Choice from 2024 that I cannot redeem at the moment.
Yes, I was late to the party, but I have still paid for them so they really shouldn't run out of keys.

Extra annoying is that I have one game that 'must be redeemed by December 5th, 2025'.
Um, yes, please let me redeem it...
(And it's even available to purchase in the Humble Bundle Store...)

2 weeks have passed, and 0 answers have been received.
Actually, it has no support at all.

Amazing!

Update 2.

Paid the order but no key delivered

Ordered a game for 40€. The money is gone but I do not get any key. No information that the keys might be out of stock (mail or shop page), no further information at all. Support does not answer beside an automatic confirmation that a ticket was created. Looks like a scam page so better buy games somewhere else.

Got charged twice after two failed purchase attempts

Yesterday I tried to buy a game. I got an error message that said that my order was cancelled but I will not be charged and I can try again later. At this point I checked my bank account and there were no charges.

I was stupid enough and tried to buy the same game again and got the same error message. I just gave up after that.

A little later I realized that there were two charges after all on my bank account, both from Humble Bundle, even though the error message said that I won't be charged. Then I checked my purchases and library in Humble Bundle website to see if the game was there, but it wasn't. After that I immediately contacted the support but there's no answer yet.

Before yesterday I have been satisfied with Humble Bundle. I have never have any problems. After reading the other reviews here I realized that the problem I experienced is way too common nowadays. It's very clear that something has changed recently and that's why I wanted to write this review.

I will never buy, I mean try to buy, anything from Humble Bundle again.

Scammers who sell what they don't own

Scammers who sell what they don't own
I bought so many bundles over the years, but life happens, and I don't have time to redeem keys as soon as I buy them.
Few weeks ago I found some time and I decided to go through my Humble key library, some keys have time limit on redemption and I have no issue with these (as scummy as that is). My problem is with the keys that are labeled as "exhausted", whatever that means. How can you even run out of stock for digital stuff? To this day here is a list of the keys that I can't redeem, and their support has been ignoring me for weeks now:
- January 2025 Bundle: Jagged Allince 3, Blasphemous 2, Boxes Lost Fragments
- All the games in May 2024 Humble Choice except for Loddlenauts
- July 2024 bundle: Starship Troopers and Ghostrunner 2
-March 2024 bundle: Soulstice, Afterimage, Destroyer The u-boat Hunter
-November 2023 bundle: SCP Secret Files, Prodeus
-October 2023 bundle: Sprit of the Island,
-September 2023 bundle: The Forgotten City, Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus
-December 2022 bundle: First Class Trouble,
-November 2022 bundle: Roboquest, Morbid: The Seven Acolytes
-October 2022 bundle: Epic Chef
-RPG Legends: Baldur's Gate and Beyond bundle: Iceind Dale: Enhanced Edition,
-July 2022 bundle: Lawn Mowing Simulator, Banners of Ruin
-March 2022 bundle: Evan's Remains
-July 2021 bundle: Swine HD Remaster, Yakuza 3 Remastered
-November 2020 bundle: Yakuza Kiwami 2, Rover Mechanic Simulator
-November 2019 bundle: 11-11 Memories Retold

I have no idea how no one talked about this issue yet, people need to know, Humble Bundle is running a racket and I paid already for all these keys, some even years ago. I am pretty sure this is illegal in many countries in the world.

Black belt in Hypocrisy: Charity and War Profiteering?

I’m deeply disappointed in Humble Bundle’s decision to sell titles like Atomic Heart, Rogue Trader and Space Marine 2 and many others developed by studios based in russia or having ties with russia—a country currently waging a brutal war against Ukraine and with a long history of occupying Chechnya and parts of Georgia. These developers continue to pay taxes to the russian government, directly supporting its war machine and authoritarian regime.

Humble Bundle claims to support charities, yet profits from games tied to a state officially recognized by multiple governments as a sponsor of terrorism. This contradiction undermines the platform’s credibility and moral stance. You can’t claim to help victims while enabling aggressors.

I urge Humble Bundle to reconsider its partnerships and take a clear ethical position. Supporting humanitarian causes means refusing to profit from entities that contribute to human suffering.
