Excellent work! Richard bespoke made a bath panel for us and we’re very happy with the work. Exactly as planned and quoted and left the space clean and tidy on completion. Would recommend

I'm a painter and decorator and take on alot of properties that have been damaged by tenants for several lettings agents and quite often that means woodwork and sometimes new bathrooms and kitchens which I cannot do I always use Hunt interiors .Richard is very professional and neat always on time and very competent in his abilities from hanging doors to installing complete kitchens and bathrooms highly recommended tradesman

Richard came to help me out with various tasks in my flat and did a really great job. He managed to find a solution for everything and was super easy to have around. I even ended up learning some new skills from him :) Would highly recommend!!

Needed some interior work done in my living space, so I called Richard Hunt of Hunt Interiors I must say the guy was professional reliable and trustworthy, I have used other builders in the past and find him very good value fo money, well recommend 5 stars all the way

I found this Tradesman on the web and on Instagram, was intrigued by his web page as it covers a number of areas. When I called he was easy to talk to and guided me in the right direction, Mr Hunt came round the next day to discuss the job in hand very efficient and on time. First impressions great very helpful and I felt very comfortable he was very professional. I needed a room painted, some doors hung and a few other jobs, nothing was too much trouble. Richard gave me a price for the job including Materials with a little leeway either side. He arrived on the Monday to start the work on time and keen to get involved. If only all Tradesmen could turn up like Richard it would be an easy life, very impressed with his work and commitment to the job I was extremely happy 😃 and will definitely be recommending this lovely guy to my friends and family for future work. He had great energy about him which I really liked. Thank you to Hunt Interiors

Edit 17th April 2020: The owner of this company is now pursuing a policy of getting my reviews taken down, not based on whether they are correct or not, but based on if I include a name in them, ie he cannot get them taken down based on whether they happened so he has found a loophole. Perhaps if he traded honestly and did not steal and exploit people then he would not have to.

Edit 23rd November 2018: The claims made in my review are true and I can verify with both documentation and recordings. If the owner of the company takes them "very seriously" it is a pity he did not have the foresight to avoid doing them to me, or address them at the time that he did them.

It should also be noted I do not accuse him of "cyber bullying"? Or "harrassment"? I accuse him specifically of the things that he did to me and of keeping money and not completing work and keeping money.

The review is not "slander" as it is not spoken word, the owner means "libel" and it is not that either because it is true and I can prove it. However, should the owner feel that I am not telling the truth he has legal recourse. I 100% stand by the veracity and truthfulness of what I have stated here.

On the 19th March this year the owner agreed to fit shelves in my living, bedroom and bathroom for an agreed price of £740.

He requested that I pay £500 upfront as he would need to buy all the materials.

The carpenters then fitted shelves in my Living Room and left.

Between the 19th March and 14th May the owner then did not attend the property and missed several appointments that he made.

During this period, he told me that other people were paying him more and he had to take the work “you know you would too”. I was understanding.

On the 15th May he told me he was too busy to do the work and I should find another carpenter, however I discussed things as best I could, and he did then attend my property on the 16th May.

During this visit he told me that materials had increased and told me I would need to pay much more than we originally agreed, which I could not afford.

He claimed prices had gone up because he left it so long to attend to the work and finish the job. However, price increases in a single year would increase, what? 10% if it was a crazy year.... this guy was demanding £100's more.

He then refused to carry out any more work.

He completed 30% of the job, but was paid for nearly 70% of the work.

He ended up becoming aggressive and telling me “I know where you [swear word] live!!”, mocking me and telling me never to contact him again.

I want to take him to Small Claims, but there have been money issues which have blocked that for now.

So, basically, Hunt Interiors quoted for a job, did not complete the work, kept the money and then threatened me.
