Ordered a fender painted and clear coat…

Ordered a fender painted and clear coat which fit perfectly however there was a spot of lint or something in the middle of the fender which came off when I rubbed my hand over it. I reported it and took pictures to show them what happened but they offered a touch up kit which I had to pay for if I wanted it ($40) and they would pay the shipping only! Did not respond to my last message all they said was they did not cover anything after installation even though the spot was obviously from a bad paint job.

Their customer service is borderline criminal. i placed an order, within 22 minutes i wanted to cancel the order so i could switch my two fenders to the more expensive "CAPA" version. He said in order for me to get the other fenders, I had to pay the 30% cancelation fee before making another order. 30% is $145.86 that i'd loose in less than half an hour.... I told him i wanted to call the other number in Montreal, so i could try to figure this out. not even five minutes later i got an email stating i was refunded $341.52.. This is an absolutely disgusting way to conduct business...

Poor Customer Service and Confusing Website

The website is not clear on how to order a painted part. I input my information and a fender was shipped unpainted. I reached out to see what could be done rectify the mistake, and the customer service rep made no offer to help and was unprofessional in their communication. I would avoid this company on principle.

Buyer Beware – Full of Lies and Zero Accountability

I ordered a simple mirror and gave every piece of information they could possibly need, including the VIN number and the exact paint code, right when I placed the order. Everything was clearly listed in my email and documentation.

Two weeks go by with no update, and then they tell me they still need my paint code. I reminded them it was already provided in full.

Three weeks in, they said it would take four weeks total.

Five weeks later, I called again and was told the order would ship the following Monday.

Six weeks in, when I asked for an update, they claimed they couldn’t even start the order until I gave them the paint color again.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Full of lies, no accountability, and endless runarounds. Buyer beware, use at your own risk.

Don't buy from Hunt Parts pay a little more and have the peace of mind you'll get what you've ordered. I ordered a hood for my 2015 F150 about 5 weeks ago. I hadn't heard anything from them. I sent a message last Friday enquiring to get an update on my order. They responded...that the part won't be available for another month and a half. They took the money for all this time and gave no updates...It's run like a child's Lemonade stand!

Order cancelled after a month

I ordered parts for my 2017 Buick Enclave from Hunt Parts on April 5th with a promised shipping time of 15 business days. Over a month passed with no update, and I had to reach out myself just to find out the items were delayed until JULY. They never bothered to inform me until I asked — which is completely unacceptable.

To make matters worse, they canceled my order without my consent and sent a vague, unprofessional message saying they “reduced their prices” and don’t offer “extra discounts.” What does that even mean when the issue is delays and zero communication?

And the icing on the cake? The exact same parts are still listed on their website as available for order — blatantly misleading other customers.

This company wasted my time, disrupted my repair plans, and showed no respect for their customers. Avoid Hunt Parts at all costs unless you want to chase your own order, wait forever, and then get canceled on without warning.

Utterly Unprofessional and Disrespectful Service

I placed an order with HuntParts.ca on Friday, March 28th, 2025 for a car part listed as IN STOCK. The company gladly accepted my payment and sent a confirmation stating the order was received and would be processed soon.

According to their own policy:

"Order processing will take 1 to 2 business days. For Ontario and Quebec, shipping takes 3 business days."

Yet six business days passed with zero updates, no tracking info, and no indication that my order had even been processed. I reached out via email on Monday, April 7th, politely asking for a status update and highlighting that the delay was well beyond their stated timeline.

Their response? A short, cold message informing me that my order had been canceled and refunded without explanation or apology. No acknowledgment of the delay, no attempt to resolve the issue, and no concern for the inconvenience caused. Just a dismissive "we updated our contact info 7 days ago" and that was it.

Absolutely unacceptable. I chose this company because their site claimed fast, local shipping and a part in stock. Instead, I was left hanging for over a week, only to be brushed off when I asked for a simple update. Now I'm back at square one, without the part I urgently needed to repair my car.

Avoid HuntParts.ca if you value your time, money, and basic human decency. Their customer service is non-existent, and their communication reeks of indifference. I will never order from them again, and I highly suggest others think twice before trusting this company.

They sent me an email for my abandoned…

They sent me an email for my abandoned carts and offered 5% . After placing my order with painting, received another email and they asked for the paint code.
After a month I got my bumper and guess what? Perfect matched color . Compared elsewhere i save $$
