I have inherited this wholesaler from…
I have inherited this wholesaler from the previous owner of my shop and since Hunts have updated their website the service has become worse than before. Several deliveries were incomplete with key products not being loaded. No explanation given and I had to repeatedly email them to finally receive a refund for the undelivered items. Today, after having received another incomplete order I have been on the phone trying to get hold of customer services for over half an hour (I'm still #9 in the queue)! They're customer service is atrocious and even if you've been a long standing customer your not treated with any respect. It's the worst service I have ever experienced!
Exceptional service
We would like to share some positive feedback regarding Emily from the Hunts Food Group. Her service is truly exceptional and consistently goes above and beyond our expectations. She is always happy, polite, and full of energy, which makes such a difference to our day.
No matter how busy she is or how many deliveries she has to manage, Emily is always on hand to help and ensures everything is put away properly and efficiently. Her professionalism and positive attitude never go unnoticed, and she represents Hunts Food Group brilliantly.
We work at the Boost Trampoline Parks Leicester branch, also known as Oxygen Freejumping, and we truly appreciate the outstanding service she provides to us every time.
We really hope this review reaches the right people, as Emily absolutely deserves recognition and to be rewarded for her exceptional service.
Avoid
I have sent 2 emails requesting to set up an account for my busy pub/ restaurant.
Both emails have been ignored and I haven’t had a single reply.
They obviously don’t need my business, so I’ll be working with Bidfood instead.
Really poor delivery driver
Really poor delivery driver, very rude , delivering to Truro, barrows health foods. When asked very politely how long he'd be blocking the road, response as long as it takes..when asked again politely how many boxes and should I turnaround as I have shopping in the car, again really rude, approached the car tried to get all aggressive, a real moron in my opinion. If this is reflective of their staff, avoid!!
Premium sauages containing crap and they don't care
This group owns various brands. I used to buy their Packington brand premium sausages from Ocado. They have tasted good but had some small fat lumps. However in the last packet a sausage had a solid large hard round bit of pig! Sloppy attention to what is going into their "premium in name only" sausages. I emailed them with a photo and a 5p piece to show the size. They contacted me and said they had had no other problems with this batch, so go away and you could tell Ocado to give you a refund! No more sausages from them.
