Refused to finish job!
I contracted with Travis Green from Hardwood Floor Advisors to refinish my hardwood floors and do some lace-in work in my kitchen. The work was adequate (at best) until we got near the end and he refused to come back and finish the job. Travis has now stopped responding to my contacts for 6 weeks, so I will have to pay someone else to finish the job. Part of the work I paid for was a recoat of my floors and stairs when I am ready to sell my house in the future. Travis valued that work at $2000. The recoat was a main reason I chose Travis. I stupidly paid the job in full before it was complete because Travis gave me multiple sob stories and I was trying to be kind. I have requested $500 to pay someone else to finish my job and $2000 (his valuation of the recoat that was to have been included in my job) refund as that work will clearly not get done now. Travis has refused to answer me, or provide the appropriate refund. I told him I would put all this information online and I still did not get a response. Do NOT use this company, Travis is highly unprofessional and unethical!
