Used Sevenoaks branch to sell a property last time and was excellent. Decided to use again, given previous experience and brand reputation but was disappointed and felt like was mostly chasing.

When first met with Greg explained there were three properties that that were already on the market that was interested in - despite that, wanted to “test the market” and over price our house which potentially left us missing out on these properties we had seen.

Listing was put up very rushed and contained multiple errors when listed live, even after requesting changes from draft brochure not all had been made - after a number of calls and emails, was then unable to contact the branch as gone on a staff party!

Had a few viewings, which were time wasters. 2 cancelled viewings which is frustrating for a seller especially with one given 15 minutes notice when spent hours getting the house to a presentable state for a viewing.

Requested to update our photos which only Greg could do - Greg didn’t seem to respond to any emails or requests from office. Eventually Gail figured out how to do it.

Asked multiple times if our house could be listed in other local branch windows - never got a response and could see it wasn’t in any other branch windows.

I asked if would be able to put our house on a promoted listing on Right Move - after a number of times requesting via email to Greg (never replied) and calls with the office eventually got a response nearly ONE MONTH later! There would be a cost to us of £120 - when selling a house with a different estate agent never had to pay this and other agents spoken to seemed surprised asking for us to pay this.

When dealt with Gail and Beverly they were excellent, very friendly and professional. Provided viewer feedback timely.

Gave notice to cancel our contact and take house off the market, a week later it was acknowledged. Thought might have had a follow up courtesy email or call but never asked why.

A company that Practices illegally, the Vendors or buyers are not important to the people who work for them.

The other factor that i want to say thank you for was the detail and support in navigating me through the legal process, liaising with soliciters and facilities management companies which relieved so much stress during the pandemic.
