I'm very angry that they changed their…

I'm very angry that they changed their benefits and perks without notification. It used to be that you get 10% off on all flights booked through Iberia.com with their credit cards (I had the Icon then the Zenit) but they changed it this year to only 10% once a year. But I didnt know because 1) they sent me an email with a one-time 10% off code and I thought it was some other bonus with my Iberia account, not my Iberia Cards (because the email looks exactly the same); and 2) in English on their website it says 10% off on flights on iberia.com every year - but I had a very awful customer service agent tell me it's "al ano" and I said yes, every year, and he said no it's once a year (which by the way, I had pressed 2 for English service and he didnt speak any English). I'm going to cancel my card because it doesnt make sense anymore to me, I have lounge access via my US credit card and it's not worth keeping the card without the discount on flights.

No customer service whatsoever

If you're looking for any sort of customer service, please look elsewhere.

App doesn't work outside Spain and their only claim is "you're the only customer with this problem" and hung up.

App gives false info on available balance

It appears that I have 1,900 available, but when I go to purchase tickets it is denied. I call and they say there is a phantom charge of 1,030 that will drop off 'in a few days' but that still doesn't explain why I can't buy the tickets. When I try to purchase Iberia tickets with another card, it charges me more. Not the first time this has happened. When you make a transfer to pay the card, the funds disappear immediately but don't appear in your account for a few days. Avios take forever to accumulate. You need 50 flights just to get into the sala VIP then it expires on April 1st of each year. Worst card I've ever had.

íDesastre!

This is the worst credit card I have ever used. It appears it is not secure. Twice in six months, I fell victim to fraud with this card. On both occasions, the card was used fraudulently overseas, despite my having used it locally in Spain on the same day. The security system failed to alert me via the app to verify the transactions, and very oddly Iberia Cards did not flag any suspicious activity and therefore simply allowed the transactions to be made. They did not not block the transactions that were being made from another continent in foreign currency when they could see that I had used the card a few hours earlier in Spain. I would have expected them to block the transactions that seemed unusual and request that I contact them. They did not do this. Instead I discovered the fraud only by chance when checking my balance. Resolving the issues required me to file police reports and submit numerous documents to Iberia Cards causing me great inconvenience. Despite proving Iberia Cards with all the documents they needed very quickly, they still incorrectly deducted the fraudulent amount from my bank account even though Iberia Cards had recognised there had been fraud on my account. They then took weeks to resolve this very simple accounting matter.
During the second incident, my personal data, including my email and mobile number, were stolen. This breach of my data made me very nervous. Iberia Cards' response to me was inadequate, taking a full month to address the second incident. They ignored my email inquiries regarding the data breach under GDPR and how to protect myself, not even offering an apology. Of course I finally closed the account as I felt it was cleary unsafe and I could not take the risk of this happening to me again. It might be that the Iberia cards issued and managed by a bank may offer better security, but my personal experience shows that cards issued directly by Iberia Cards are clearly unsafe. I see from several other reviews of this card on this website that others have had similar security concerns. I notice Iberia Cards' lack of response to these reviews, which I think is telling.

A lie to catch your data

The airline staff catched me at the airport in Barcelona. Almost half an hour asking me many details about my citizenship, job, family situation and then filling out a form in their system. Very attractive offer for the customer. Everthing seemed fine and easy. Today I got a call by an Iberia cards agent who said they can not provide the card because of my salary, so, why using people's time in this horrible way? why the guy at the airport didn't say that in the firts two minutes before taking all my data even my ID pictures? I called Iberia cards after the call I had before, and they said my card request is not even in the system because the company who cath the data at the airport is a different one!!! called Integrum and they decided if they send the data to iberia or not... Cheking on the internet, this Integrum company offers databases to other companies, so that is the bussiness, they are just making bussiness with your data... I am very scared about my data, do not give your data even if they have the appareance of Iberia at the airport because they are not.
