I love all the Native American art I ve selected to adorn my walls. It reflects the life of the first Americans that were guided with spirituality, long term sustainability community strength and environment preservation My first inspiration was reading “The mystic Plains warrior” which is the book Kevin Costner used as a guide to produce Dances with Wolves movie. I’m also a traditional archer so many of my canvases depict native archers. I also added a Byron Ferguson beaded back quiver to accent the art which I added grey turkey feather arrows. I have recently decorated my disabled son’s Carhart vest with a large eagle head patch on the back with Native American beaded rosettes on opposite sides of the chest. Many of my most memorable memories were experienced paddling a canoe on Northern Wisconsin lakes.
