Internet went off two days ago

Internet went off two days ago and all we have had is a two line response. We both work from home and have missed 2 days of work because the Internet is down with no compensation at all.

Wifi is very meh

Wifi is very meh. Very restrictive and as a gamer it stops me from playing certain games wirh my friends. It's a pain to contact for help when the WiFi isn't working at all, which happens frequently. No page on the website to even see the WiFi status which other companies have. Better places to go to, ashame it's included in my bills otherwise I would change.

Terrible service

Terrible service, my biz website goes down their end and you just cannot get hold of them unless its 9 to 5 Mon to Fri. Try calling on 2 numbers I have for support and you don't even get voice mail, they just keep you hanging as if they will answer so not only do you lose customers & a great deal of money, you run up your phone bill!!
This always happens at a weekend or bank holiday, and I'm paying premium rates, so I'm going to lose over 2k just for this w'end, I've been with Idaq since 1992 and this is it now for me, I'm taking my business elsewhere 🤬

My building uses idaq as a inclusive service. They still support me directly and are very friendly. Some odd blips but no service is 100%. Some of the other reviews sound a bit harsh if you ask me.

Used to be good

Used to be good, but got bought out a few years ago and then went downhill fast! Frequent outages and unhelpful emails from support, have moved many domains away and now just the one to go!

Very poor indeed

Very poor indeed. We lease a 100mb uncontested connection. The system is not robust and has always had intermittent connection drop outs that ultimately come down to a complete lack of resilience. A power outage in a single node seems to bring their whole system down. Recently the service dropped altogether and was replaced with a very slow 4G connection. It has been down 3 weeks and will be a further 2 until they say they can resolve. (This has slipped already.) We are a business and cannot live with this unreliability. It is very hard to get hold of anybody within the company to try and get issues resolved to and when you do they are unapologetic and ineffective. Our current issue could have been resolved in a matter of hours if they put their minds to it.

Internet is slow and cuts out

Internet is slow and cuts out. I live in student accommodation and was told my account could be upgraded for free if I gave them my username and details. I did. They never upgraded my account. I (and my landlord) contacted them several times and they never responded.

Absolute rubbish company. Don't use.

recommend finding a different internet provider if possible

Internet drops out on occasion for no apparent reason, only got advertised speeds in the first few weeks with them, then speed dropped considerably afterwards. Awful customer service, Stella is very rude and incompetent to deal with. Misleading advertising, our chosen package stated "includes free router" however 18 months later on cancelation of service, we found out that the router doesn't belong to you and they require you to return the router at your cost. After we queried this, they quoted small print in the contract and threatened to take us to court if we didn't return the router. Would recommend finding a different internet provider if possible.

I would not recommend IDAQ networks

I would not recommend IDAQ networks. I have had a very poor experience in relation to their products, and most importantly their customer service. I find their attitude towards customers very rude, and once they have you trapped into a contract are very unwilling to deal with issues.
My network is unstable and non-existent over wifi.

Very good service and excellent broadband

Very good people to speak to in the office and on site. The installation was a bit more complex than I thought and would have appreciated more information about that ahead of time. Now it’s in the broadband service is the best I’ve ever had in all the cities I’ve lived in and far better than anything else in Sheffield. I would recommend Idaq to anybody whether they are a private individual or a company.
