As I see from previous reviews this lady once you have a problem is a totally different person attitude wise. I bought a bed that collapsed and apparently they are only guaranteed a year I was just over this. The attitude on the phone shocked me and left me so upset. I will not be shopping here again and will not recommend to any more friends. Reading down the comments she is mentioned in quite a few because of this. Compassion goes a long way in business. I cannot get over the way she spoke to me and how different my interactions were when I was spending money.

To be honest no stars because we couldn't even step foot in there without a women telling us to get out and my sister and i walked in and was just going to have a look and our mom stayed outside with the dog because dogs are not aloud and we walked in and said you need a parent go out to ur parents like what are we going to do my sisters 18 and i'm 14 we were going to have a look and then i would have gone out held the dog and let my mom go in for a look but no just got told to go out and oh well there loss for money horrible service!

I bought an ottoman storage bed, delivered next day at agreed time. Received excellent help and advice when choosing. Competitively priced. Definitely shop here again.

Went to store this morning,saw a dining set l really liked.The gentleman l dealt with,his name was John,was a pleasure to deal with.Had my purchase delivered same day and the time l was told.The delivery men couldn't be nicer and professional.l had also previously bought my dining set here and it was the owner's wife l dealt with again very pleasant lady and gave discount and my purchase on that occasion delivered next morning.Fantastic customer service on both occasions and excellent product quality,and l will purchase there again.

I visited this store today looking to purchase a bed / mattress / headboard and other items of furniture and received the worse customer service experience ever.
I greeted a woman hoovering the floor on my way into the store and I had a quick look around downstairs before meeting a gentleman who provided me with the location of beds etc upstairs. He advised they would be closing in about 10 minutes but to have a look and call him with any queries.
As I ascended the stairs I was shouted at by the woman that they were closing so I informed her the man had said it was ok to look for 10 minutes. She proceeded to rant on and then moments later I heard her abusing the man downstairs for allowing me access.
I had quickly sought out a few items of interest and called for his assistance explaining what I was looking for and what I wanted to do with the room. He kindly offered to follow up with the supplier in the morning and give me a call. As we returned downstairs for him to take my contact details the woman became verbally aggressive towards me for being in the store and said I had ran in past her! I was completely shocked by her unprovoked behaviour towards a customer and trying to work out the dynamic, asked the poor man if she was his wife and sadly he said yes!
Reading the reviews here since, I can only agree with the other poor comments and would not rate the experience - I would say AVOID!

Earlier in the day I had driven to McGregors in Lissarda where I met with 2 excellent sales persons and after leaving Ideal Furniture I went around to EZ Living where the lady in the beds department couldn't have been more helpful.

The service was really good. I went in on a Saturday morning and bought a bed, mattress and locker. John was extremely helpful and not pushing furniture on me that I didn't like. Also the delivery guys were great came and cleaned away all packaging.
I will definitely be calling again.

We recently purchased several items from this shop. Returned today to purchase a mattress and was roared at by an extremely rude and unprofessional woman in front of other customers which was very embarrassing. Needless to say i won't ever shop here again and would advise anyone to stay away.

We bought a deep chest of drawers and two lockers for our bedroom. Clinton was most helpful to us and just very nice. He said it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive and sure enough it did. John arranged the delivery with us and was also most helpful. The furniture was delivered today and the delivery men were great-it came pre-assembled and they brought the furniture upstairs for us. We are very pleased with the quality of the furniture and also with the help we got.

I found the customer service terrible the lady I dealt with was so rude😡I would never shop there again

Bought my sofa and dining table and chairs and was very happy with the customer service. Caroline was extremely helpful, patient and gave me great advice. Will definitely be going back for more items. Great value for amazing furniture. Fantastic lead time on delivery also. Thank you Caroline for everything. Sharon P.

I’ve read the previous reviews and it’s clear the woman at reception has made an “impression” on more than me. As another review put it AVOID AVOID AVOID .. she was the rudest person I ever encountered. The shop was completely empty when I was there … I now know why!!! Don’t darken the door guys .. no piece of furniture is worth exposing yourself to such a negative, toxic and aggressive individual!!

Ordered and paid for furniture in January. Was called the next day to be told furniture was not in stock, despite website saying in stock delivery 1-3 weeks. Was told it would take a further 6-8 weeks. 10 weeks later I contacted company, to be fobbed off and told a further 6-8 weeks. Twice was told I would be called back when they contact supplier and never got a call back.
In august I again contacted the company, to be met with rudeness and hostility from Caroline. She wanted to refund me which I didn’t want as had matching items in the range. Couldn’t be told the whereabouts of the delivery only that it was coming from the Far East. Said furniture was still on their website, saying in stock and delivery 1-3 weeks at an increased price more than €100 dearer. Finally got delivery on 09/09 from ordering on 31/01. The delivery driver was most helpful, polite and apologetic for my treatment from the company although nothing to do with him. Each time I chased the company for delivery dates.
Clinton and John were apologetic each time I chased them but Caroline was rude and not once did they make attempts to contact me and explain or apologise for delay.
Clinton agreed to price match another company in April but again I had to chase this partial refund.
I would never again use this company and would advise others to shop around for better customer service because there are other sites with the same ranges and better pricing and far better customer service.

I just phoned this company and the most rude person answered the phone, how they are in business I do not know, I definitely wouldn’t recommend dealing with ‘Ideal Furniture’. The person answering the phone needs a course in customer relations. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Avoid this ignorant company lads. Take my word for it. The "owner" Caroline but we'll call her "Karen" for short, is by far the most ignorant woman to walk God's green earth. I look forward to the day that your closed down and your long suffering staff I wish them nothing but good luck for the future. Your horrible Karen. Take my word for it ladies and gents.
