I recently hired Michael Barsoum to resolve a damage issue caused by one of my crews, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service. He responded immediately, assessed the situation with no fuss, and got straight to work. The repair was completed quickly, professionally, and to an excellent standard — you’d never know there had been a problem in the first place.

His reliability and problem‑solving attitude turned a stressful situation into a smooth, efficient fix. I highly recommend him for anyone needing a skilled decorator who can step in fast and deliver quality results.

I recently hired Michael to paint the lounge and kitchen in our flat, including the ceiling, skirting and coving. Michael provided an extremely thorough itemised quote within an hour of our conversation, and I really appreciated how he talked me through the different options for finishes and paint types depending on my own personal preferences.

His work was super fast but still thorough and the finish was excellent. All pre-existing cracks and damage to the walls and wallpaper were repaired and filled, and he also removed some old, defunct cabling from the walls to ensure a smooth, clean finish.

Michael was extremely easy to contact and was genuinely friendly to deal with, you could tell he really takes pride in his work.

Michael is simply the guy you want to hire for your decorating job. He is polite, always on time, an even bigger perfectionist than me, and a good guy you simply can trust. In a very frustrating home renovation process, where we had disappointing experiences with practically all our builders, Michael simply was someone I was never worried or stressed about. He was flexible and did a lot of additional work by cleaning up the messes that other builders left behind. A good decorator doesn't cut corners, elevates it to an art and we are very happy that we had Michael to pull us through with his great work.

Michael was a pleasure to work with. He communicated really well from start to finish and was very transparent about pricing and his methods (he used the latest tech in spray painting to give a perfect finish). I had to redecorate my living room urgently after smoke damage had occurred, and Michael did an amazing job - the room now looks absolutely perfect. Michael was incredibly thorough about protecting everything first - my floors, door, radiator, window, sockets etc. He was reliable, turned up on time and finished the job exactly as promised. His rates are also fair and reasonable, and can be found on his website. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michael and will definitely use his services again!

Very poor painting job. Flakey, lumpy, patchy and missed areas. Promised a top quality finish and got a finish I would be ashamed of producing myself. Refused to correct work. Very poor with dealing with customers. I will now spend time correcting this job.

Michael of iDecorate completed decoration of our son’s bedroom to an exceptionally high standard. He is a lovely individual who is very polite and well mannered. He completed the job in a time efficient and cost effective manner. He is tidy and neat and keeps you updated throughout the decoration process. We cannot recommend him more highly and will continue to use him for years to come.

Michael painted our whole house with some tricky detailing. He sanded, oiled and painted our staircase leaving it looking like new.
We are very happy with the work and would definitely reccomened him to anyone looking for a high quality finish.

Michael is thorough, polite and doesn't overcharge. He is completely dedicated to doing a good job with attention to detail and that is rare. Initially, IDecorate was only meant to touchup our bathroom ceiling but ended up not only the ceiling but my bedroom , 2 spare rooms and our hallway. First impressions last the longest and I was impressed even before he had started the work.

His communication and quotations were of a high standard which I have never experienced with a painter before. He is well mannered and listens carefully to what a customer wants and is looking for.
