Not a good experience
I took an education loan from Idfc first bank and the experience is terrible. The people are rude and condescending. If you do not do something according to their “rule” they will shout on you. While I was in USA my father had to go to the bank for my fee payment multiple times. My friend who took loan from ICICI had a very smooth experience. They did not even had to go to the bank even once. Everything happened from the comfort of their home. Please choose wisely.

Back end is good but rotten operational people
Back end is good. My issue is that the Bank does not give visibility of senior people to its customers. They just sit behind digital smoke screens whereas the half wit snobbish operational people like the Green Park Branch Manager Ravi Sethi do not even find time to return calls for months! Most banks which do not have a credible Escalation Mechanism will fail eventually because they will never know the travails of their customers and the idiocy of their employees in delayed and inaccurate responses. Btw, this Ravi Sethi is a disloyal self serving employee as he suggested us to take our FCNR deposits to his friend in another bank! So this is what happens IDFC when you do not give us access to seniors...we post publicly.

Breach of trust by his employee's sagarika mahajan,dharmendra rathod,jigish lanjewar,i have one of my loan in corona time.after few months they asked for amount to foreclose the loan and will update in cibil as normal closure.
But after paying the amount they mention in my cibil as written off.now planning for legal action against them because i have all written communication with sagarika mahajan(IDFC) as normal foreclosure.
Please never beleive their words,alwaysgo in written communication with them.

Hidden charges in 2 wheeler loan
I took a two-wheeler loan and the bank representative did not inform me about the hidden charges. I was looted of charges more than the interest amount.
IDFC first bank customer care reps were also not helpful and did not provide any redressal.

Beware of IDFC Fast Bank Scam: My Excess EMI Payment Refund Nightmare
I want to share my frustrating experience with IDFC Fast Bank. I have an EMI With IDFC Fast Bank, and I paid 1667 INR in advance on May 27, 2024. Initially, IDFC Fast Bank agreed to refund my excess amount, but as of today, July 15, 2024, I haven't received any refund. To make matters worse, the bank has now changed its stance and refuses to pay back my money. This bank's behavior is unacceptable and feels like a scam. I strongly advise against taking any EMI or loan from IDFC Fast Bank. Do not open any accounts with them, as they will steal your money and ignore your refund requests. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more reliable bank.

This is Vishal Mishra. To describe my experience in the least words, I would say-My experience with IDFC first bank loan service has been utterly disappointing & pathetic (full of pain).
My personal loan (loan number 148321625) was approved for an amount of Rs 2,41,058.
I want to bring to your attention that out of the above mentioned approved amount, I was handed over a demand draft of Rs 98,460 dated 1st April 2024 to close my existing personal loan with HDFC and the remaining amount was transferred to my salary account.
Here I wish to mention that instead of clearing off my outstanding loan with HDFC bank from back end by your team themselves, I was asked to visit my nearest HDFC bank and hand over demand draft issued by IDFC bank (DD number-869153). What I find strange is that though just like HDFC bank personal loan department, IDFC first Banks's personal loan department is also in Andheri, yet they chose to send an employee to my house in Dombivli to hand over the demand draft instead of settling it from their end. I mean what is the need to send an employee to a far off place from Dombivli (Palava) when both banks' office is in Andheri.
However, when I visited nearest HDFC bank branch at Nilje and Shil phata along with the DD issued by IDFC first bank, I was told at HDFC bank branch that they couldn't accept demand draft for existing personal loan and to settle my loan repayment, I would have to visit HDFC personal bank office in Chakala Andheri East.
Since I work from Monday to Saturday, I couldn't visit HDFC bank and in the meantime I was kept getting charged full EMIs from both HDFC bank & IDFC first bank (since last 3 months).
When I had called IDFC first bank's manager Vikas Sharma (IDFC bank employee) who had approved this loan, I was assured that after 3 EMIs, loan with IDFC first bank would be adjusted automatically as I didn't encash my demand draft of Rs 98,460.
However, this is not the case. even for my next EMI, I still need to pay full EMI of Rs 5,480 on next due date i.e. 3rd August 2024.
I am not sure why was I handed over a demand draft and not the entire approved amount of ₹2,41,058 was transferred to my account????
When I had visited my nearest HDFC bank to hand over IDFC bank's DD, I was told that I could easily pay off my HDFC bank personal loan by transferring this amount directly to repay my Personal loan account.
Due to this hastle, I want to point out that one of my existing EMI got impacted due to insufficient fund as my account has been getting charged for full EMIs from HDFC as well as IDFC first banks' personal loans.
With this review, I wish IDFC first bank team to look into this issue on priority and transfer the remaining already approved amount of ₹98,460 to my savings account along with interest accrued on it.

Very bad experience with idfc first bank. I have online fds in bank against which i took overdraft facility which remains unutilized. However, there is no option online to remove lien and bank not allowing me to withdraw funds from fd on maturity. Its almost more than 3 weeks raising requesr with customer care and relationship officer but still no action. If i compare to hdfc bank it is so easy to remove or but lien for od. I am soo planning to go to india and close account with idfc first. Also the saving interest rate are not compititive keep changing relationship officer with no prior experience, dont bother to call before dishonoring cheques due to techincal reasons etc. In short the bank dont care about customer.

Indecent and untrustworthy bank staff with…
Indecent and deceitful bank Manager (Hitesh Bhavsar )with Misleading Staff at Maninagar Branch Ahmedabad. They talk nicely when they want to setup accounts and then as usual poor customer service. Staff doesn’t have courtesy to give call back and no manners at all. Even RM- Pratik Patel doesn’t knows how to handle the problems and give a call back to solve the issue, just a fake assurance that he will give a call and no call till today’s date . This is how corporate branches work? Unethical behaviour and Misleading act by the branch staff! Very incompetent staff and no moral values.
Fake assurance and promise is what they provide and are trained for !
There is no Hotline number to talk to customer service over the phone to sort out the issue! The number provided on website is not useful to talk to someone in Head office or Customer care!.
The institute along with its employees are fraud
I had taken a mobile phone on EMI from IDFC first bank on EMI.. this bank is totally fraud along yits employees.. they don't even have the courtesy to talk with female customers. Dipayan biswas, biplab saha are the worst..on saying that I need some time for the EMI... Their reply was" ph ta newar somoy tor monne chilo na".. i would suggest people to not take any kind of loan or emi from this worthless institute.

The credit card department is worst
The credit card department is worst. They promoted offer saying 5 percent cashback on EMI conversion of outstanding transaction/balance and got confirmation from customer care too. The cashback was suppose to come after 3 months but when it did not I had to call customer care and they said there is no such offer. I shared the message with all offer details to customer care and post verification they started saying it will provided as reward points and not cashback which is false marketing. Also to get lounge benefits we need to spend every month 20k and if we forget in one previous month then the benefit will not be provided nor carry forwarded. Better to opt for top banks like AXIS, HDFC or ICICI rather then IDFC

I am writing to bring to your attention a series of issues I have been experiencing with my account at IDFC Bank, specifically related to inward remittances in USD and the unsatisfactory customer service provided by my Relationship Manager (RM), Ashish Dohrare, he rarely attend my call or respond the message.
I am the holder of account number xxxxxxxxxx at the Ring Road Branch Surat. For last 1 month, I have been trying to get my paycheck from my employer which was submitted on the 5 of April but I got no notification nothing, and then when I contacted them (which is like after 15-16 days trial) they told me they I need to do rekyc and now I have done it they said they don't provide this service and cut down my amount as well, this is so wrong and unethical. I have tried to resolve these issues by reaching out to my RM, but my attempts to contact him have been largely unsuccessful. He rarely answers my calls, and when he does, his responses are inadequate and unhelpful.
Given these circumstances, I am reconsidering my plans to invest further with IDFC.
