Signed up for three months. Cancelled renewal. Charged beyond the 3 months. CS claiming that they can't do anything about it. I will have to seek legal advice, not much for the amount of money but for the principle of this company scamming perople in broad daylight without anyone doing anything.
Stay away from this scam.
Edit after their reply: please note everyone that in private emails they use a different tone and do not 'offer' to review the case together. They just keep the money and shut you down. One more reason to stay away from this scam.

Guys please please please don't add any subscription from Immoscout. It's a scam to sign 12 months contract which we cannot terminate at any point and we will never notice this notification of 12 months notice period anywhere when we sign for subscription. Now I am paying 25 to 30 euros every month for nothing. If I had a chance to go for a lawyer against this app, I'm really looking forward to it.

It is still very competitive. I only got one viewing so far and the guy was asking for 4000 for his furniture. This app is currently the most unsustainable place to find a flat, honestly a waste of money. Not so organised.

The company excels in "subscription renewal optimization". Kudos to the product managers. They’ve done a great job. I subscribed to a 6-month package, not realizing it was actually "at least 6 months." Without noticing, I ended up paying for a full year.

I used ImmoScout24 once to generate a rental contract. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was signing up for a full-year subscription, even though the pricing was shown as €14.90 per month and gave the impression of a monthly cancellable plan.
The 12-month commitment is hidden in fine print, and the signup interface lacks the legally required clear labeling (like “zahlungspflichtig bestellen”) that’s supposed to make paid subscriptions obvious. This kind of design feels intentionally misleading, and I wouldn't have subscribed if the terms were clearer.
I contacted customer service, offered to pay for the 3 months I used, and asked for early termination. They refused — citing their terms and completely ignoring the transparency issue.
ImmoScout24 may be legally in the clear (for now), but this feels like a trap – and judging by other reviews, I’m not the only one who was caught off guard.
If you only plan to use the platform once, double-check what you’re signing up for. And if you’re a company representative reading this: it’s time to update your UX to meet modern consumer protection expectations.

Response to Immo24 team's comment:
This is bulls***, I was in touch with your team for a few weeks, and they had 0 interest in resolving this!!
My client number is 23415871, if you are serious about resolving this, you can contact me.
**EDIT2**
Received a debt collection letter with interest and a high debt collection fee. Complained, they offered to waive it and cancel the contract if I pay for 6 months + interest.
And here it is - the full ImmoScout24 business model: shitty and deceptive website -> unhelpful support -> lawyer intimidation.

I filled the schufa form, paid the 30 euros and after the payment as the app was loading the schufa the app crashed. I opened the app again, thought since I'd already paid I'd get the schufa, so I filled the form again and got my schufa. Little did I know that they had tried withdrawing 30 euros again from my card for the second attempt. I only put 30 euros in my card so after the first transaction it was empty and the bank refused the second transaction. After a few months I get a letter by their lawyer saying I have to pay 50 euros(30 + lawyer expenses) for not paying my schufa. I sent them the bank screenshot showing the first successfully transaction and the second refused transaction after a minute. They didn't care and I still had to pay. Their business model is predatory, my girlfriend did the schufa too and was enrolled to the two month premium without being notified and now received a lawyer letter too asking to pay 60 euros. SCAM! SCAM! Stay away from th m

ImmoScout functions well as a platform with solid technical infrastructure and reliable performance. However, their business practices raise some concerns that feel inappropriate for a company of their size and market position.
The platform operates on a minimum subscription model with automatic renewals that occur without advance notification to users. Even when customers attempt to cancel on the same day they discover an unexpected renewal, ImmoScout refuses to accommodate these requests. Instead, they point to fine print terms that authorize automatic renewals, regardless of whether customers were adequately informed about this policy.
These practices feel predatory and undermine customer trust. A company of ImmoScout's scale should prioritize transparent communication and fair customer service over aggressive retention tactics. Clear advance notifications about upcoming renewals and reasonable cancellation policies would significantly improve the user experience.
I hope ImmoScout will reconsider these policies and align their business practices with better industry standards for customer care.

if you rent an apartment you need to buy membership and it s minimum 3 months! That s first red flag and guess what? IF you dont cancel your contract every month they charge money from your account. There is no 0 star, so i give 1 star.

1) Misleading people with automated withdrawals. 2) Many of the posts are not real rented apartments. You never hear back.

It is good and reliable service. It is convenient for me in different aspects. I would give it 5 stars but I was unable to send messages for a couple of days after changing my email address. Finally the problems are gone, everything works well.

Unfair! I had to pay to respond to certain houses. It was expensive, but I thought: it’s only three months so I will do it. Now I discovered they kept on billing me. You don’t know it, but apparantly you need to cancel otherwise the contract continues after the three months you signed up for. This is not communicated! After emailing them they reacted as if it was my own fault. Never again with this service!

Subscription trap. Monopoly in the market, nothing desperate people can do. Wasted almost 200 EUR on this with zero results. Subscription kept getting renewed automatically even tho i signed up for 3 months, i got an email after few months that i had outstanding payment. Such a scam...

NEGATIVE REVIEW!
My husband and I used ImmoScout with the 3-month plan, which is naturally the minimum duration they offer. We ended up using the service for basically just one month, since we found the apartment we were looking for, and that part was fine, because we understand it’s the minimum plan they offer.
However, we were charged an additional month after the 3 months, just because we didn’t cancel the plan. The problem isn’t even so much about that... it’s more about the fact that it would have been normal to receive an email letting us know that those 3 months had ended, just to be aware and decide whether or not we still needed the service. But they send no warning email or notification at all.
After the charge, we immediately contacted them (we wrote the day after the charge) and explained that we were no longer even using the service, and kindly asked if they could refund the money. We received a negative response saying they couldn’t do anything. Honestly, their response showed clearly that they care more about the money than putting the customer first.
So I’m really disappointed that they couldn’t offer a solution in a case like this, especially since we reached out about this unnecessary charge really right on time. I know companies that would have handled this differently. And even worse: they don’t have any kind of system in place to let the customer know something like “Your 3 months have expired” or “Your 6-month period is ending soon” — so that the customer can at least decide what action to take.

In my last review I mentioned of using Immoscout 24 and missed to mention about their premium plan. Excatly that was frustrating, lot hype is given out about advantages of being prime members. Absolutely nothing you get from this. I used that plan in 2024 and 2025 nothing. That is vague reason not all landlords respond. So is the case with free memberships not on this platform and on all platforms.
I would advise customers to be aware of their memberships plans and missing out on a single payment or forgot cancel. The customer service is worst and they dont respond but good at sending warnings, claims from their legal teams. Hence always think twice of these consequences.
And for each review they mention to contact posting link. I tried that too before writing a review. Its as bad as my experience with ImmoScout 24.

Listings seem good and well presented. Customer service can be much better. I used their paid service twice there won't be a third. The first time was fine since I was still just browsing properties and wanted to see what they offer behind the the pay wall but didn't use much after all. I wasn't able to cancel either (I paid 3 months). Second time I wanted to get priority reaching out to sellers and access competition stats. None of that was useful. Useless stats and few sellers just ignored my communications and had to reach out by phone. I canceled the subscription within the withdrawal period and had to wrestle with them after. They sent me few payment reminders (I chose invoice payment) then switched to demanding a 1 week worth of use (8€) and quickly escalated to debt collection threats. They seem desperate for few cents but could easily kept my business if they improved their service.

The idea of the layout is good but its full with bugs, which makes the use painful.
- Filtering by price doesnt work, if I dont want to see
price on request ads and set a minimum price of
100 it still shows them.
- Map doesnt work on desktop, I click a marker on
the map and on the left just shows random adverts.
- Also its not possible to show multiple type of
properties, like gastro and retail at the same time.
