Immobilise is the world's largest FREE register of possession ownership details, and together with its sister sites, the Police's NMPR and CheckMEND form a very effective tool in helping to reduce crime and repatriate recovered personal property to its rightful owners. Immobilise can be used by members of the public and businesses to register their valued possessions or company assets, and exclusive to Immobilise, all account holders registered items and ownership details are viewable on the Police national property database NMPR. This online checking service is used thousands of times each day by UK Police forces to trace the owners of lost and stolen property. As a direct result of Immobilise, there are hundreds of cases a week where the property is returned or information collected that assists the Police in investigating criminal activity involving stolen goods. Immobilise is the only ownership registration service supported by all UK Police forces, the Greater London Authority, and the Mobile Phone Industry.

A 5 star performance.

I have been with Immobilise since 2015 when I returned to re-settle in the UK. I signed up to the service to safeguard my car with their ImmobiKey. I recently had cause to replace both of the key fobs as over the years the plastic had eroded to a point where the ID number was no longer legible. A request to replace them both was sent and I was pleasantly surprised that within days to be told that 2 replacements were on the way, free of charge. They most certainly were and were delivered as promised. This is nothing short of a first class service, the customer service people are truly wonderful, for which I cannot praise them enough. They are a credit to their profession and to their company. Well done all concerned from this well satisfied customer, and thank you once more.

Login details not accurate

Although I completed all fields accurately when registering incorrect details were passed to the Google Chrome password manager and I was unable to log in. There was no link for help/support at this rather important stage. I eventually figured it out but I wonder how many people just gave up?

Easy to use

Easy to use and nice to know that my property is registered somewhere in the event that it gets stolen.

Easy to use and supplies an important role

I hadn't heard of Immobiliser until I heard about it from an article in Which? magazine about ways of keeping one's mobile phone and other depositories of sensitive data safe. If theft does occur Immobiliser has the relevant information that can help the police and make it harder for devices to be sold on.
