Treated us like criminals

We booked a 'luxury' apartment in Cannes through Immogroom from 15th to 18th February 2025. On booking we stipulated a late checkout, as we were working there and had conferences running into the afternoon. We were told this would be no problem. On checkin we again reiterated our request and were told once again that this was no problem and that we simply had to let the agency know the day before and it would all be organised. But when we did this, we were told that the apartment was required at 11am and that we had to move out. Considering we had arranged work conferences already, on the assumption that late checkout was 'no problem', this was unacceptable. Unfortunately, the Immogroom agency made no attempt to find a solution for us, beyond 'leaving your bags at our office'. The office is 10 minutes' walk away without meeting space. They also offered this, rather sarcastically, free of charge! Then they ended the call. When we didn't move out at 11am, their representatives attempted to gain entry to the apartment using their own keys and stood with their feet in the door. Then they threatened to call the police! Never have my wife or myself been treated like this as paying customers in a luxury holiday rental. We were truly shocked.

Eventually the company sent a representative who was more professional, and he (Etienne) offered us anther apartment in the building to complete our work conferences. If this had ben offered in the first place, then everything would have been fine, but the unprofessionalism of the other staff completed ruined our stay.

We are regular visitors to Cannes, both for work and pleasure. We have stayed in all sorts of accommodation, from hotels to apartments and have always been happy with the level of service.

The Immogroom Agency offerings are substandard and their level of service completely unacceptable and a blot on the Cannes accommodation offerings.

Separate entry
On a separate note, the apartments (very well located on the seafront) are billed as 'luxury', with correspondingly high prices. On the surface they look OK, but look deeper, and they quickly look cheap, and the standard of cleaning is poor. The apartment we stayed in was above a restaurant, whose extractor fan was right below the balcony, causing an industrial 'humming' noise throughout the living areas.

Nightmare!!!!

Rent with this company Was a nightmare.no air conditioning (broken) , vero bad smell inside the house, no air in the bathroom, terrible person . Employes very rude, no one came here to check our problem..just incredible!!!!

Never use this company unprofessional and unreliable.

This company are extremely unreliable. I booked accommodation for my client, after confusing communications regarding picking up key, drop box in Cannes, they gave her wrong key. She was left stranded at midnight and had to book into an expensive hotel. This caused unnecessary stress and massive costs incurred. They admitted fault but she has still not had refund or her deposit back.

Never rent an appartment from Immogroom. When you leave they will falselly accuse you for damage in the apartment and thru Swikly charge your creditcard for damage that is false.

Stay away from renting from Immogroom.

DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPANY

DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. WORST EXPERIENCE ON A BUSINESS TRIP! We were unable to access the house for 4 hours because the keys provided had no battery and the rental agency was unresponsive via calls, airbnb chat and emails! We ended getting access to the house at midnight, after an agency employee finally appeared, but she refused to answer any questions, as "it was not her responsibility". The house was freezing cold, the heating was not setup, and there was no hot water in the studio apartment. Moreover, one of the rooms had a bug nest in it. The ad claims this to be a luxury house, but all the equipment is outdated eg.. the dishwasher did not work. Next day we cancelled the reservation and when handing over the keys, no apology was given. Airbnb refused to compensate after documenting everything. The reason: to get compensation Airbnb claims it should be a specific person from our company reaching out, it did not matter that several other employees attending this trip raised the issue in a timely manner. Summing up: Don’t rent from this landlord – don’t expect Airbnb to help you when you arrive at a locked/non-existing/etc. house

DON'T RENT IMMOGROOM!!

DON'T RENT IMMOGROOM!!! Our appartment is very dirty, dust everywhere, it's old, there are humidity problems.
It looks like a little palace on the pictures but we had appartment 0161 and it's horrible!!! We complainted during 2 days. Still here. They don't do anything about it. It's normal that you have to five a 500 euro garanty for an appartment... And they don't want to help us at all!!! Never again!!!

Fraudulent Transaction

My wife's credit card had funds fraudulently deducted by Immogroom. Firstly for 1 Euro (testing) then over 2000 euro. The credit card requires an OTP 2 factor authentication which was not provided by the bank. Immogroom has advised that this was an online transaction but over the last 6 weeks they have been very slow to respond, evasive and with no willingness to cancel the fraudulent transaction. They have not advised who made the transaction. Surely identity had to be provided by the perpetrators who stayed in the falsly booked apartment? This all makes me question their integrity. There is no sense of urgency on their part to resolve this theft.
